Flash MINI Player For website!

All I need is a mini Flash Player with just "Music On/Off"
and with music bars, does anyone where I can find one? I also want
one free too!
If not, then could someone please guide me through making it
in Flash?

There's no user-installable Flash Lite player for S40 based phones.
It is either already built-in (part of the firmware), or it isn't. If it isn't, you can't add/install it.

Meta data (song information) not updating in mini player for radio stream

I notice in the mini player view, the meta data does not update for radio streams. This is a big deal for me because I listen to radio stations all the time, and I don't want to have to switch between the mini player and full player to see the song information. This wasn't an issue in iTunes 10 (and previous versions as I recall), where I could just click to toggle between the name of the station and the meta information.

I understand your concerns, but regarding the headphone jack, this is standard procedure. While you may have checked these things, and know more about the player, a lot of people will not check the basic things before contacting support. The Advisors have to check these things with you first to make sure they've been checked.
As far as transferring data goes, it is true that unfortunately we cannot transfer data over for you or make a back-up. Doing this for all the returns for different players would require a lot of resources, time and money, making the RMA process a lot longer for everyone. In some cases, it's even necessary to replace the harddri've or the whole player.

Mini player for video podcasts? Where did it go?

I am having problems with the newest version of iTunes (11.1.2). Before, when I wanted to relegate a video podcast to the corner of my screen where it was viewable but didn't take up all of my screen space, I would click on the small rectangular miniplayer icon and get that - a small version of the video playing in the upper left hand corner of my screen.
Now if I double-click on a video podcast to launch it it takes up much of the screen. Clicking on the miniplayer in that window goes to the grey rectangular miniplayer used for music, and in fact starts playing either a radio station (where did that come from?) or some other music. Not even the sound from the video podcast. Reverting back to the square shaped miniplayer with the program icon doesn't change that. There doesn't seem to be a way of playing a video podcast in a small window. The right button on top switches between full screen view and most-of-the-screen view. In older versions of iTunes that used to evoke the miniplayer, and video podcasts would shrink to a small view in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Is there any way to solve this problem? I often want to watch video podcasts while also doing something else and the current screen-hogging doesn’t let me do that.

Well, upgrading to ITunes 11.1.3 didn't solve the problem. It helped, in the sense that now I can get the square mini player and a still image of the video podcast, and the sound from the podcast works, but the image doesn't move.
I tried trashing the iTunes Preferences, hoping perhaps one was corrupt, but that didn't solve the problem either. I am now wondering if this is an OS glitch. While iTunes runs on OSX 10.6.8 (SL), which is what I use, it has problems, which perhaps don't appear in more recent OSs.
Can anyone confirm that on a machine running OSX 10.6.8 he/she has iTunes 11.1.3 with the mini player successfully running video podcasts?

You can't embed the player in a site. You embed video that USES Flash Player, but these days that's not a good idea, since mobile devices (tablets, SmartPhones) don't use Flash.
You really need to embed HTML5 video. It requires no plug-in and it's accessible by computer users as well as mobile viewers.
Ask in the Dreamweaver forum for tips on using HTML5 video.

Flash 10 player for Mac - overlays don't work (pic inside)

I have a MacBookPro running Snow Leopard (10.6.2 - although this problem also existed when I was previously running Leopard 10.5). This is what Flash looks like on Myspace and YouTube for me:
YouTube controls are intermittent (i usually can't hit the pause button and have to use the space bar to stop videos). annontations show up, but as empty ballons with no content. just like this ad pop-up for itunes. MySpace music players work, the audio plays back, the play button works and the next play button works, but there's no visual information for the tracks or playback.
I've tried this in Firefox, Chrome (beta, downloaded today), Safari and Opera. Same problem in all, which makes me think it's platform independent and purely a Flash problem - perhaps a conflict with something else?
However, I've tried uninstalling Flash (using downloaded Adobe's Flash Uninstaller), uninstalling Firefox (including the entire /Library/Application Data folder for Firefox with my user profile), rebooting and reinstalling Firefox 3.5.5 and Flash (using downloaded Adobe Flash Installer). No joy. Same problem.
Ironically this also happens on the Adobe Flash Player test page - the video plays fine, but the version box doesn't display any information:
That black box is what shows up when you rollover the Version Information area.
Any one run into this? I've looked all over but have been surprised by how little recent information there is. Any references to Flash Player/Mac problems seems to be almost a year old at best.
I have no idea any more what this could be. But it's been this way for months. It's manageable to some degree since the functionality is basically there. But it's incredibly annoying.
Is there an older version of Flash Player that works with Firefox 3.5.5 and Mac OSX 10.6.2?

The last really supported Flash for PPC was 10.1.102.64, but if it's for like Facebook or such, people have been fooling FB to think they have a later version installed.

Welcome to the forum.
Where do you need to play this "sprite" (the name for such a Flash video)?
If you need to add that to a Video, then there could be a few challenges in PrE.
If you need to add it to a Web site, then Flash Player (free from Adobe) should be able to display that.
Can you please give us just a bit more info, on how you wish to use the sprite?

Editing Flash Menu bar for Website - Have Tutorial & I'm Stuck :(

I'm a total newbie to Flash so, I start with sincere apologies. I have a tutorial that's supposed to step me through editing this menu bar but I'm so lost and can't seem to get my screens to match what they're doing in the tutorial.
I think I'd do much better if I could be directed to some directions on editing this that were written out or something instead of trying to watch what's being clicked on in this tutorial. It's crazy actually.
I don't see where I can upload either my file or the tutorial here in this post though.

Installing flash 11 player for IE makes videos no longer play on firefox

The latest version of flash doesn't play videos on Firefox. So, I uninstalled flash and installed an older version. This solved my problem. However, when I instal the latest version of flash on IE, videos stop playing again.
I tried all sort of things like disabling different extension/plugin etc.
I think that if I could download an older version of flash both in Firefox and IE it will solve my problem. But I am not sure how to download an older flash for IE.

Dual Monitor Player for Website

We are designing our website and have before and after video samples.
On the website - we want the 2 videos to play at the same time so that clients can compare them.
I already have a Windows Media Player box on the web for a single video to play within but need to know how to accomplish 2 videos playing at the same time.

Only Windows users can view WMV content which locks out all mobile users, tablet users and Mac users and whatever. That makes no sense. Second, nobody would want to play two discrete streams at the same time for bandwidth, performance and synchronizity considerations. ou simply combine the two videos into a single one in a video editing program.

When will we see one? It would be nice if it also has at least 2 gigs of storage, or one gig of storage and a compact flash slot for adding a memory card.

I'd have gone for a flash-dri've model if there was one that was subscription-compatible. I think SSR is right as to current models, but the next generation may be different. They have successfully put MTP in smartphones and PDA's that have only flash memory; it's only natural to put it in flash players too.
I suspect the problem is more that it takes a certain level of investment to develop MTP devices at this point, and that's more likely with hard-dri've players than flash players. Moore's Law virtually guarantees it'll make it down to the flash players someday.

Mini player for iTunes in task bar - where's it gone?

Hi, just upgraded some computer components and reloaded Windows and iTunes (XP Pro with Service pack 3, iTunes 8.0.2.20). Before, I used to be able to minimise iTunes and it would shrink to a handy little miniplayer on the taskbar which I used all the time; I can't seem to be able to get this feature to work any more, iTunes only minimises the same as any other window, with an icon and the name, but no buttons.
I don't mean the miniplayer window you can call up with Ctrl + m, the feature I refer to sat on the task bar and had skip forward/back and play/pause buttons. Has this been ditched, or is there some wild concatenation of keys to recall it?

Have you tried right-clicking inside the task bar field (in an empty space around the computer clock) - tools and enable iTunes?
Also If enabled:
Edit > Prefrences > Advanced > disable 'Minimize iTunes Window to system tray'

Looking for stand-alone Flash 9 player

Can anyone tell me where I can download the stand-alone Flash
9 player for Windows?
The only version I can find in the downloads area is the
browser plugin.
I want the standalone player so that I can see the console
output. I'm just starting in AS3 programming so I need to see the
error messages.

There is no download of the standalone. The only publicly
distributed version
is the browser plugin/player.
Download the authoring tool, Flash CS3 and you will get the
standalone with it.
