Flash on 4S camera useless!?!?

Coming form a 3GS, I was looking forward to having a flash to use with the 4S camera. But when it activates, it totally, completely washes out the image! I have one out of a half-dozen pictures where you can barely tell it was a picture of a person ... the others are white frames. I tried at varying distances and in varying light, and the result is the same - white, grossly over-exposed frames.
We got two of these phones and they both overexpose the same way. I can't believe we're alone.
Anyone else having this problem?

Well, sorry to keep posting on my own thread, but for the benefitof others, I did two things -
1. I removed the plastic off the back (which I had left on to protect it)
2. I found that although the cutout in the case on my wife's phone looked plenty big, it apparently confuses the flash somehow and makes it overexpose. I'll have to take a razor knife to it, I guess. But the point is that it works fine without the case.
Sorry to start this whole thread, but maybe my own replies will help someone else with a similar problem.

BTW: You do not speak for "all users apple". I for one have a LONG list of feature I would rather see than a flash for the iPad.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPhone shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

Is it possible to purchase replacement Flash Card that came with the Cisco 1811 Router?

I am in desperate need of a replacement Flash card that came included with the Cisco 1811 Router. I purchased the router used and it was working perfectly. I worked my way through all the information provided at cisco.com and had it pretty much configured the way I wanted it. Until the flash card got destroyed. A little embarassed to go into details how it was destroyed, let's just say my Grandson gave it a bath.
It would be great if I could just purchase a replacement somehow with the IOS and SDM on it without purchasing a Cisco Service Agreement, etc. I purchased the router just to further my "Self Education". I have pretty much conquered all the aspects of the Cisco routers, etc. more or less developed for the Home Office user and moved on to bigger and better things. Since I was able to find a Cisco 1811 in good working condition very inexpensively I decided to go for it.
Help from anyone would sure be appreciated.

I owned a JVC GZ-HD7 and Canon HF10 now...wonderful result but one thing i'm not happy...unable to read the file that i've transfer to my desktop directly with QuickTime...that's mean i have to import or convert those files into QT format or the format which reganize by FCP or QT...
Any recommandation of Flash Card Video Camera that record media into QT readable format like (.mov,mpeg4...) and so on..and sure the quality i do concern as well...

Solved my own problem. I still had the protective film on the back and it was covering the lense and flash. I didn't notice it since I keep it in a case all the time. If you are reading this, I hope it might solve your problem!

Is this a Flash Drive that came with my new PC?

hello, I'm really hoping someone can answer this quick question for me...
My mother has an Omni All-In-One 120 PC (win 7). Just got it 3 or 4 months ago. It came with what looks to be a flash drive already plugged into one of the left USB ports. What is this for? It doesn't appear as an external drive. If it is for wi-fi, can I remove it and still be connected as long as the PC is connected directly with an ethernet cable?
And, if it IS a wi-fi thingy (sorry for the technobabble), does that mean the PC does not have anything *internally* to connect to the net (like my Sleekbook does)?
Anyway, what IS this thing sticking out of the PC?

As has already been stated, please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers that are all different. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

Does the computer have a wireless mouse and keyboard... if it does, I would guess that it is the wireless transceiver for the mouse and keyboard.

I am new to the forum so I apologise. I should have mentioned in my update that the installer that fixed the problem was the ACR 9.0. I had originally used the 8.8 installer which caused the problem from ACR 7.1.
Initially the installer didn't work 64 bit version still had 7.1 but it installed ACR 9.0 on the 32 bit. I then proceeded to manually unzip the exe file ACR 9.0 and coped the 8bi file to the locations stated in my update. This didn't affect the 32 bit cs6 but completely removed ACR from the 64 bit. I re ran the ACR 9.0.exe file and everything was fixed.
I hope that this makes sense. I have now developed a problem on Bridge though. I can open raw file in photoshop but I can't view previews and the camera raw preferences are greyed out. I have read elsewhere that other people have had the same problem.

Into Flash direct from camera

When I connect my camera via the USB, can I import direct
into flash and see the 'live' picture within Flash?
I have looked for something i file-import but this only lists
importing prepared movies.

Importing directly from the camera is often problematic. It mounts using a TWAIN driver, and this always seems flaky.
Importing via a card reader mounts the device like a drive, and I have never had problems with this approach. It's almost always faster as well. The only downside is you can't do "tethered" shooting (basically live off the camera).
Anyway, is the Sandisk Extreme 2.0 reader the $90 jobbie? I believe I recall reading a review on Luminous Landscape that noted its speed is only realized if you use their Extreme 4 series of cards -- otherwise it's not all that much faster than a normal reader. I would expect most USB 2.0 or Firewire 400 readers would be fine -- personally I use a Lexus Firewire 400 reader and it has been excellent. The "right" Sandisk combo is faster, but it depends on whether you need that speed for import. It's nice, but often not a "have to have."

iPhone 5 when I go on camera in the dark I notice a white flashing dot above the option button. When I slide it on to video or face time camera it goes? Help!!!

The flash on a smartphone camera is tiny. It only lights up a very small area right in front of the camera. It won't light up the whole scene.
Have you seen the size of the flash on a professional camera? Even they can't light a whole scene in the dark.
Fact is, a smartphone camera is not capable of taking good photos in the dark, even with the flash.
You'll need to buy and learn how to use a professional, dedicated SLR camera to be able to take good photos in the dark. It is not easy.

Quite disgusted that the flash drive and camera kit don't work with apples usual ease and style. Fix it and redeem yourselves.

But in terms of the camera connection kit, it works as it is specified- as an SD card reader and as a direct connection to a camera. It is not advertised as being a flash drive connection kit.
