Flash on iis sharepoint not running well

hello;
I have a swf that runs fine when running off of my remote
apache server;
however, when uploaded to a iis server through sharepoint,
the swf is a very sluggish mess;
there are no .flv's involved;
I have 0 access to the sharepoint/iis system, but I though
that I would post the question to see if anyone might have any
insight;
thanks

I can't express enough thanks for this solution.
Many, many people have asked about a way to view YouTube videos on a G3 iBook without stuttering and choppy playback.
This possibility has never been mentioned on this particular forum, so, again, thank you very much!

i need to go back to aol and have my favorites restored as my computer is not running well. I need to get my favorites back as it contains very important information.

If you start the AOL Browser, it will have your AOL favorites. Firefox doesn't interfere with AOL Browser or Internet Explorer in any way.

  • Youtube not running well on your iBook? Theres a solution!

hello every one, this idea might probabily have been posted some where else already, but, I i think I will put it in here any way.
Is your iBook running youtube with a slow frame rate? well, theres a solution around this. the mobile version of youtube will open your youtube videos ona seperate player, and it will run nicely on a G3 iBook with 500 mhz. so, you may need the real player for this. the youtube video is not running on flash any more, but in the real player, so its like playing youtube videos in your own iBook.
I hope this helps for the people who have iBooks and use them every day.

  • Macromedia Flash MX Professional 2004 not running on Intel iMac

SIGH. This is added to the enormous list of problems I've had with my new Intel iMac.
I'm a pro user and am confused as to why Dreamweaver MX will run but I can't get Flash MX 2004 Professional to run. It starts up, loads fonts and what not, shows a blank timeline for the new document as it should and as soon as the GUI for Flash comes up ka-boom it crashes.
Then I get the general "unexpectedly quit" notification.
Anyone else having this problem? Is Rosetta a synonym for Lucifer?
This is what the error says if it's of any use to anyone:

I'm on a Mac and don't had this problem. But I do watch for
video issues on this site and haven't seen this – I might
have missed a few, but most Flash users are on Windows so I think
it would be common if it were something wrong with Flash in
    general.
Then again, what do I know? Because the more I'm thinking
about it the more I think I might have had this problem. But I
really can't remember. And sorry to say the solution was to not use
the import function to edit my videos.
You also might want to just see if it is the format of the
file you are importing. Perhaps a different source will work
better? I'm just grasping at straws here.
If you have many of these to do and a budget I suggest
getting a third party tool like Squeeze. Otherwise if you have some
third party editor you might want to use that.
    Good luck!

  • My Firefox version is up to date, I restored Firefox to default settings, restarted, I downloaded latest version of Flash and it will not run, it crashes..

Mac, OSX 10.6.8 (up to date), Firefox 28.0 (up to date). Adobe Flash was downloaded and no videos will run on any web pages using Firefox. I reset Firefox to default settings and restarted. I get the message that Adobe Flash has crashed. Shut computer down, rebooted. Same thing. Uninstalled Flash and the videos run but very choppy, jumping in 5 second increments after freezing. Firefox freezes and has to be force quit. Installed an older version of Flash and it will run, but I get a warning that it is vulnerable. I have gone through this several times and checked all my updates and they are the latest available. Videos do not run on the latest version of Safari either.

    Downgrade to FlashPlayer 12.
I will add a link to a related post later. Flash 13 causes problems, and is a known issue with some older MAC s.

  • My laptop is not running well since installing Firefox 4. How can I go back to using Firefox 3, which I find better in so many ways?

My laptop is quite old; that is a given fact. None of my programs are running well since I installed Firefox 4. It seems to have particularly compromised my Outlook and email downloads, also opening PDF files. Neither do I like the 'build' of Firefox 4. I had Firefox 3 set to the way I like to work as my personal tool or implement. This is the way things should be, not the other way around. Please let me know of I can re-install an earlier version?
I will not be changing my laptop or operating system any time soon.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

  • Installed Adobe Flash but it doesn't run well on Chrome...

First, sorry if my english isn't perfect. I'll try to make me understand..
I have adobe flash installed on my pc. It works on Firefox. But with Chrome it seems it doesn't run well. I can see the videos in Chrome. But when I go on websites like Issuu.com to see a file (you know, like a book where you can turn the pages) it doesn't work. It doesn't even start. The same happens when I go on browser games that use flash: the screen shows the loading bar but at some point it stops loading (but it doesn't crash). In some other games it loads but the game looks with some errors and doesn't run correctly.
I have uninstalled adobe flash then reinstalled it but nothing.
I have restarted the pc but nothing.
I have typed "chrome:plugins" and disabled one of the two adobe flash files but nothing.
I have cleaned the Chrome cookies and cache with CCleaner but nothing.
I have deleted the Flash Player folders but nothing.
What else should I do? I have also reinstalled Chrome but still nothing.
    Can you help me?
Below is an example of how an in-game pic looks in Chrome. It is cutted!

What is your operating system & version?
    What is your web browser?
You downloaded Flash Player, but did you also install it?
    What exactly means "doesn't work/run"?

  • Mozella 3.6 will not run well with Adobe Flash Player 10.1-- IE8 and Adobe Fpash Player 10.1 does work

I use filehippo.com to automatically update my applications. So I have Mozella 3.6 and then recently downladed and installed Adobe Flash player 10.1 or the latest version.
    I then proceed to http://www.africam.com/wildlife/lc_player_chat.php?sh=nk-1
and found that the picture will not show- I get a running circle and then a brown square instead of the pic.
Now using IE8 and the same version of Adobe Flash Player I get the picture.
This worked in Mozella before the last update of Adobe.
Can you give me any direction to fix this?

Hi, not sure what that is about. Did you use the Adobe Uninstaller first and follow the instructions?
I would download the Uninstaller and SAVE it to your Desktop:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Then I would download and SAVE the Installer to your Desktop:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html Use the EXE Installer for Windows/IE
Once you have that done, then Close all browsers, disable any messenger services in the system tray(area near the clock)
Run the Uninstaller and when it is finished, Reboot(restart) your computer.
Then run the Installer and reboot when it is finished.
Then test here and you should see the Flash logo animation and the version of Flash Player that is Installed.

  • Adobe Flash Player/Shockwave is not running on FireFox... does not run in Youtube, or other video sites.

Hmmm... this morning I was watching youtube videos.. and I noticed a little lag. Really minor... but thought that shouldn't be happening.? So decided to see if I could fix it. Not sure what I did or if I did anything to cause this? I really don't think so. Maybe firefox.exe -p?? Was working fine up until today?
I've read a bunch of the forums and tried a bunch of stuff but still no go. When I disable protected mode it works fine, but I want protected mode to be enabled so that I'm... well... 'protected!'
I've uninstalled FireFox and Flash Player and reinstalled numerous times but still same thing.
I'm running Windows 8.1, with most recent Flash and FireFox. My computer is an i7 4700HQ 2.4 Ghz, 12 GB Ram etc... its a 6 month laptop.
Anyone know what the issue is? I've never experienced anything like it? I've ran Malaware bytes.. didn't find anything. Ran AVG and found one threat... I think it was the Crack threat (cockos??) does that ring a bell...? came from a torrent. That issue has been healed now tho.. not sure if they are related??
Also ran a disc cleanup and it took about 5 minutes... doesn't usually take that long but its all clean now. Deleted a bunch of debug dump files... again, not sure if that's related??
Here are a few of the crash error logs I've gotten recently:

Anyways, I would like to still use Flash but its killing me right now trying to figure out whats going on. Would really appreciate some help/advice. Let me know if you need more info.
    Cheers!

Some background information about the Adobe Flash Protected Mode for '''''christ1'''.
    http://blogs.adobe.com/security/2012/06/inside-flash-player-protected-mode-for-firefox.html
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 that you have is a relatively low end graphics card and low end for on-board graphics chips, whichever you have. ''Unless that is a laptop that switches drivers for "gaming" which puts a lot more load on the hardware and runs the battery out a lot faster.'' Technically the HD 4600 ''should'' be enough for web browsing, but Flash is a lot more than simple web browsing.
IMO, if disabling the Flash Protected Mode solves that issue - do that. Or upgrade your hardware, especially if you have a separate Graphics Card ''[vs an on-board chip]'' or can install a better card in a desktop computer.
As far as YouTube videos goes, have you tried using the HTML5 setting for YouTube?
    https://www.youtube.com/html5
Make that setting and Google will deliver HTML5 video when it is available for each "clip". From what I have seen ''[I'm not a big user of YouTube, though]'', like maybe 75% of the clips I see are available in HTML5 - ''ymmv''.
BTW, Mozilla is working on eliminating the need for even having to use Flash. They're working a a project which is code-named Shumway to play SWF-format files.
    http://mozilla.github.io/shumway/
You can download it from that page, but it is at the early stages of development and needs a lot more work before it is truly usable.

  • Youtube not running well...

I just got my new iBook dual USB today and its beautiful, but I went to youtube and I installed the flash player, them I went to a video, but the framerate is very jumpy, not very good... how can I fix this? also, I got a very light scracth on the screen, it does not bother me, but is it permanent?

YouTube is going to be tough going. It also depends on your internet connection speed, which can vary from hour to hour and, to some extent, the number of hits YouTube is receiving. I have found it's somewhat better for me in the middle of the night.
You can upgrade the RAM to 640 MB with a 512 MB 3.3 V, PC100 or PC133 compliant, 1.25 inch SDRAM SO-DIMM. That may help some.
Try closing all other applications except Firefox when trying to view videos, and close all other browser windows and tabs. Sometimes restarting the iBook before trying to view a video helps minimize the stuttering.
You may have to resort to downloading the video via a third-party application and watching it with QuickTime. That's what I ended up doing a lot of the time before I got my MacBook.
We have to remember that the iBook 500 MHz is now over 6 years old, and came out years before YouTube existed, so it's not too surprising that the two don't work very well together.
    Good luck.

  • Game does not run well in Classic

On one of my computers, I am still running Panther and OS 9. The only reason for this is that I have an old mahjong (OS 9) game which I like quite much. When I upgraded to Tiger, I also installed Classic and I could run the game, but on certain actions, the game always stuck.
Does this make any sense? Can I install Classic in Tiger in a way that the game will run without any problem?
    FYI:
    - friends of mine had exactly the same problem with this game when upgrading to Tiger
    - I cannot contact the manufacturer of the game. It is Japanese and on their site there is neither an e-mail address nor a fax number (if they would understand English at all).
    Thanks for your help.

Classic works... most of the time. Maybe 85-90% of apps have no problems, and most of the ones which have problems also have work-arounds. Unfortunately the ones which have problems and no work-arounds usually have those problems because of a decision made back in basic design, and there is no cure short of re-writing the app from scratch. Which is not going to happen with, for example, a game dating from 1989 whose vendor went out of business in the early 90s, and which was picked up by another vendor, who went out of business in the mid 90s. (Yes, Harpoon, I'm talking about you. It eats 100% of CPU cycles on a 2.1GHz G5 iMac and gigs upon gigs of RAM and then freezes for lack of system resources, when I know that it'll run on a 25MHz IIsi in 17MB RAM because I used to play it on that hardware... Grrr... The 'This game requires 256 colors' screen which pops up forcing me to reduce the colour settings from millions to 256 really irritates, too. Grrr...) But those decisions were taken by others, not by Apple, and usually those decisions directly ignored Apple's advice. (The 256-color pop-up, for example: Apple said that it was okay to check for required colour levels, so long as the required level was the floor; these guys also made it the ceiling which is a no-no. And the concept of 'memory leak' was alien to them. I suspect that there's a reason why they went bust.)

  • OSX 10.4.5 not running well

About two weeks ago I updated to OSX 10.4.5, and since then many of my programs don't run smoothly anymore. I work mostly in Adobes Creative Suite 2, and had problems with both Photoshop and InDesign - generally, they will only crash 2-3 times a day, but at times this also happens every two minutes.
Odd is also that sometimes if I restart Photoshop I get the settings for blue scollbars and such, even though my system settings are set to grey.
The crashing is also the problem with other programs like Freehand, Safari or iTunes. I did look for broken font files via "font collection" (is this the english name?) and removed them, but the problem still occurs.
Might there be anything else that could help?
    Power PC G4   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

    10.4.5 is recommended.
Disconnect FWDs before installing OS updates. (It is sometimes recommended that you disconnect USB devices too.)
Start-up from the OSX DVD and run Disk Repair.
Archive & Install from the Tiger DVD.
Reboot and run Repair Permissions from the Desktop.
Install 10.4.5 from a pre-downloaded copy of the Combo 10.4.5 Updater.
The first boot-up will take quite a long time. Don't interrupt it —let it finish its clean-up.

    Restart and Repair Permissions AGAIN.

When I kill the Adobe Air Debug Lancher Process it allows me to run the program with the exsact same out put as stated above.
I tried shutting down the application (FB) and it doesnt matter - I still get the errors.

  • Flash.media::H264VideoStreamSettings could not be found

    hi,everyone
All of my efforts to load H264 class inside flash has been failed.
I did all instruction to load this class , but this error occur at runtime:
" VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.media::H264VideoStreamSettings could not be found. "
Adobe flash plyer 11(incubator), not run inside flash!!
Is there anyone to help me?
    Thanks.

I find out that , H264 class can not be load and run in plash player 11 inside debuger mode in flash CS5.5.
It should be run in flash 11 stand alone player or inside HTML out put of project.
In the other words, Adobe has offered a browser plugin for plash player 11 not a stand alone player.
So testing H264 class and other new features in incubator player, is available inside web browser.
It's the easiest and quick way.
