Flash on kindle
Help , having problem getting flash to download to kindle fire
On the Kindle Fire HD I have seen conversation about downloading a different browser and you can get flash player to work. Would this work for the non-HD version? Is there anyway to the the web sites my daughter usually uses that require Flash Player to work?

The latest Kindle Fire HD is not officially supported by Flash Player. Please see this page for a list of all certified devices:

That said, some users have been able to get Flash Player working on the Kindle Fire by using Dolphin, a third party browser.

What version of flash for kindle fire hd
I am trying to download flash for my kindle fire he. there are several versions to choose from, which one for my kindle?
Adobe Flash does not work the Kindle Fire HD or any Android v4+ devices. Amazon blames it on Adobe and Adobe blames it on uncertified devices (
http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2012/06/flash-player-and-android-update.html). There are lots of comments and instructions for sideloads of previous browser versions in the cyber universe. But, alas, loyal users of flash and amazon just get left out in the cold. -
Upgrade to flash on kindle fire
I've tried to download this and have even picked every option yet it's still saying not installed and I can't watch any videos on YouTube help please
Your Kindle Fire uses the Android Operating System.
Adobe stopped ALL development of Flash for Android last year. (July 2012) That includes Kindle as well as Samsung Tablets.
This is from Samsung Support (07/31/2013):
"Beginning August 15, 2012 we will use the configuration settings in the Google Play Store to limit continued access to Flash Player updates to only those devices that have Flash Player already installed. Devices that do not have Flash Player already installed are increasingly likely to be incompatible with Flash Player and will no longer be able to install it from the Google Play Store after August 15th, 2012."
And from Kindle Support (07/31/2013):
"The Amazon Silk web browser on Kindle Fire 1st Generation supports some, but not all, versions of Flash. Adobe Flash is pre-installed on a 1st Generation Kindle Fire and is disabled by default.
If you see a message to install Flash while using your Kindle Fire, this means that the content you're attempting to view uses Flash. If you want to view the content, you'll need to enable Flash through the Silk settings menu.
If a web page suffers from slow performance due to Flash, or you're unable to view a web page with Flash enabled, we recommend switching to mobile view when browsing a Flash-heavy website to see if that solves your problem:
Some popular websites may also have an app available. Check Amazon Appstore, accessible through the Apps library on your Kindle Fire, for availability.
The Amazon Silk web browser on Kindle Fire 2nd Generation, Kindle Fire HD 7", and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" doesn't support Flash.
Some sites use alternative web technologies to Flash in their mobile versions. We recommend switching to mobile view when browsing a website with Flash content to see if that solves your problem:
Some popular websites may also have an app available. Check Amazon Appstore, accessible through the Apps or Games library on your Kindle Fire, for availability."

There are older versions of Flash Player (for Android) at that link, but there are no guarantees any of them will work.

I've read a lot about "Dolphin" for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser
I'm not an Android user (no tablet or phone) so I can't make any endorsements that would hold any credibility, but most of the Flash solutions I've read point to Dolphin as the best alternative.
Check the Android forums: http://androidforums.com/ to see what their "gurus" recommend. -

I am having trouble installing adobe flash on my kindle fire hd. Does adobe flash work with kindle? Safari & Linux
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

I understand Adobe Flash player will have out an app to download to the newer android devices such as Kindles that they stopped supporting a couple of years ago soon. Any idea when this will be? Thanks.
Hello,
We don't have any plans for a new version of Flash Player for Android. That said, some users have been able to get Flash Player working on the Kindle Fire by using third party browsers.

Flash Player for Kindle Fire HD.
I saw an experimental version of Flash Player for Kindle! I could not download it and need a Flash Player for my Kindle. Can I get Help with this? There are issues with Flash and Kindle/Amazon!
If possible, tell me where I could get an answer!
Or a Download Site!
DannyBoy59You can ask this in a hundred thousand threads, a hundred thousand different ways...
The answer is, and always will be, the same.
There IS NO MORE Flash Player for Android. Not since June 2012, and THERE WON'T be another...EVER. Andorid ISN'T compatible with Flash Player anymore and that won't change.
