Flash on Win CE 6.0

I did some web searching, but found nothing in recent history
regarding the use of Flash or Flash Lite in Win CE 6.0. I have an
application that will require between 50 and 100 embedded devices
and I would like to have Flash be the user interface.
Please advise where to look to embed flash in WinCE. From
what I have read, it is possible.

AIR 2 debugger not recognizing extendedDesktop profile in Flash CS5 Win

In order to test the new NativeProcess API of Air 2, I checked the required profile of "Extended Desktop" in my Publish Settings in CS5. When testing, though, I found NativeProcess was not supported in the debugger. I then published the FLA as a Windows EXE and installed it, and NativeProcess was working as expected. Having to publish a new exe every time I test is a big waste of time, so I instead used the command line ADL tool to debug, and by specifying "-profile extendedDesktop", I was now able to test my app with NativeProcess.
This should get fixed, as it is definitely an issue with the debugger running via Flash CS5.

I changed the profile of both to AIR2.0, and it still shows AIR1.0 in the properties panel. I'm able to publish the Panel.swf now but it also generates an unwanted panel-app.xml -- unwanted because panel is not an app, it's merely a SWF to run inside the main app.
Is there a better way? And why does it still say AIR1.0 in the properties panel?

P35 Neo-FI: after flashing bios, Win XP won't start (BSOD)

Hello board,
I was a moron and did a bios upgrade from Windows, using Live Update 4. The flash seemed to finish normally. However, after the flash my Windows XP install wouldn't start, resulting in a blue screen of death ("Stop: 0x0000007E" etc). I used the rescue floppy to flash back to the (presumably) original bios version, with no change, still BSOD. I have been able to flash the bios again by using a bootable USB stick. (I couldn't use the Forum Flasher from my old notebook, so I used MSI's guide to creating a USB flash stick.)
The version I flashed back to from the rescue floppy is 1.A0 (1.10). I'm not sure what the newer(?) version Live Update offered me was. I was confused with the version numbers and looked for a newer version manually. I ended up flashing to 1.19, downloaded from MSI's server (http://download1.msi.com/files/downloads/bos_exe/7360v19.zip), which is what I have now. Still same the problem. I've cleared up the CMOS several times, after most of these flashes (but not all).
Starting a fresh XP install results in the same BSOD after first reboot (after copying files to the disk). I also booted up (in 1.A0/1.10) an old Linux Ubuntu Live CD, which gave this warning:
"Warning! Your PnP BIOS caused a fatal error. Attempting to continue. You may need to reboot with the "nobiospnp" option to operate stably. Check your vendor for an updated BIOS. get_dev_node: unexpected status 0x28"
I'd be grateful to any suggestions!
The system in question: P35 Neo-FI, Core 2 Duo E4500, 2 * 1 GB Kingston DDR2 800, MSI Radeon HD 4670, Samsung 1614N IDE hard disk, an LG DVD drive, Corsair CX400 PSU.

make sure you change the settings for ide/sata settings in bios.

When I get into FlashPlayer adobe site, it does not let me to get to download.
I have several other Adobe products, but the simpliest one gives me trouble

I checked out that there banners that work oo other sites and don't work on my site. At the same time on otther comps with the lower versons of flash player banners work correctly.
And som more infothat might be useful: I launch banners from my hard drive directly in flash player not using browser and after clicking on some of the banners I was not redirected to given url, instead dialog was alerted. The params button of dialog redirected me to flash player settings manager on adobe website.

Flash Player not working on some pages

Using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit,
Google Chrome 10.0.648.127 (not sure if it's 32 or 64, was told to assume 32)
Flash Player WIN 10,2,154,18
Works fine for most pages but when I try to see a friends' app on Facebook I get a message saying "You need at least Flash Player 10.0 to view this page." but when I click the download button it says "Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome will automatically update when new versions of Flash Player are available."
I have uninstalled rebooted and re installed several times already and don't have a clue what's wrong.
Hardware acceleration is disabled; other Facebook apps work just fine and the same problem happens in Firefox.
The chat centre guy didn't know what to do and sent me here.
Any help whatsoever will earn you awesome sauce with extra kudos!

Problems with Sound in Flash Player 10

would anyone have any idea why the sound in a flash movie
would play in Flash Player 9 but not Flash Player 10?

Adobe flash player and DirectShow filters in IE

For video capture of webcams for sites with flash (youtube, livestream and etc) I use a driver and DirectShow filter. The user loads a page with flash and chooses a driver or filter from the camera list of flash's Parameters for video capture.
My problem. For Win 8.1 x64 in Internet Explorer 11 the flash does not show DirectShow filters, only drivers. I see those filters in Chrome, Firefox and Skype, but it is not in IE! No problem with IE in flash for Win 7 x86/x64.
Ok. The cause is understood by me. IE loads 64-bit flash, which does not understand my 32-bit filter.
No problem, I make 64-bit filter and test it on 64-bit VLC. All right, VLC shows me my filter in its list.
Now I load IE with a flash page and .... the filter is not in the flash list!!!!! Why????
Please any ideas.
PS. OS, browsers, flash player have the last updates on PC.

Keyboard response issues in flash player

Hi,
When I'm playing games made with flash, every so often it won't respond to my keyboad inputs. It happens maybe every 30 seconds, so it's pretty regular, and won't respond for a few seconds. If I was holding a key at the time of this hanging, then the player acts as though I am still holding that key down. The game will still continue as normal, so it gets me killed all the time, so I wan't to know if/how I can fix it. I've tried changing the quality and closing down other windows, but neither seemed to make a difference.
I use
Windows XP tablet edition (32-bit)
Firefox 3.6.8 (32-bit presumably)
Flash player WIN 10,1,82,76

Hi, It could just be that the keyboard needs cleaned. Dust accumulates between all of the keys. Canned air is good or a small soft brush. I have to clean mine every so often.
Also the next time it sticks, hit the space bar and see if that helps.
If that doesn't help, then perhaps the game is not working properly and you think it's the key. I've never had that problem, so really can't say for sure.
Maybe someone else will see your thread that has had this happen to them and reply.

LR3 64 Bit - Not loading Flash Web Galleries

I recently upgraded to Win7 64bit and bought the 64bit version of LR3.
Unfortunately, LR won't load any flash galleries and just gives me a blank screen without any preview.

I've got the latest version of Flash running although it must be said not without its problems; anyone else having LR and Flash related Win 7 issues?
I'm not having any speed issues in other modules and my catalogue from LR2 moved across fine so I'm one of the lucky ones so far...

I am having the same problem... running LR3 64 bit, Win 7, 24 gigs memory, but when I try to preview a flash gallery, the screen stays blank.
The only way I can preview the flash gallery is to preview it in the browser.
Any solutions out there?

Creating Hindi quiz in Macromedia Flash 8

I am working on Macromedia Flash 8 Quiz with 30 Questions.(The number of questions may increase in future)
Hindi Language is the National Language of India.
I need to input 30 Hindi Questions into the Macromedia Flash Quiz template.
I am trying to copy and paste the hindi text / questions (or any regional Indian languages in India for that matter) inside the component inspector parameters tab. I could not able to do it. Copy and pasting hindi text is converting to some english characters. So how to put the hindi text into the component inspector for creating hindi quiz in Macromedia Flash 8. What settings needs to be made. Please assist me in doing this.

I have the same doubt.
Recently I migrated to Ubuntu, because I did not feel comfortable in using pirated software and I installed the macromedia suite 8 (Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash) with wine.
These softwares have been discontinued and no longer enjoy any assistance, not least because macromedia does not exist.
But the fact that Adobe have bought Macromedia, I think maybe he has rights to the products that were previously the macromedia.
It is impossible I can buy some new versions of Adobe CS6, they are extremely expensive.
Please, I would like someone from Adobe answered my question with clarity and objectivity:
- It's a crime to use a suite of macromedia 8 transferred to a download site with one free key ?
Ubuntu for me has been very poor and unproductive.
If is a crime to use the versions of macromedia 8, I think I'll have to buy a version of windows 7 and buy the software from the Microsoft Expression Studio.
They are very good and very cheap, byt adove is better.

Can't install new flash using winetricks

I am not able to install any newer Flash then the default Flash 7 which can be found inside bin32-wine. When I ran a program which opens a Flash animation and I right-click it, I get "About Macromedia Flash Player7"

And it seemed to install just fine. But even though I rebooted, Flash 7 is still used.
What can I do?

To better assist you with this issue we need to know:
What is your operating system? (Windows or Mac) (XP, Vista, 7, 8)
What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)
Are you seeing any error messages?
Can you provide screenshots of the error messages (if applicable)?

Problem with Screen Cutoff in flash

Was always working fine loading facebook flash apps, but now the apps will load and are fully functional but if there is any content that requires scrolling down or to the side I do not have an option to do this now.
Ive tried zooming in and out of the browser by holding CTRL and using the scroller on the mouse but this did not solve my problem. I updated to the latest version I posted above, still no resolve. Between the days it was working fine and stopped working I cannot say that I installed any new applications or updates.
Any help appreciated !

Two things to try:
disable Hardware Acceleration (Flash Player Settings)
update the device drivers for your display adapter
