Flash Player 10.2 will not install - not same problem as Audrey below.

Hi,
Using Win 7 home deluxe, was using Flash player no problem until the office had me uninstall it to fix another problem but now will not reinstall, keeps insisting on installing Mc Afee alongside it and then Mc Afee won't install correctly and won't allow Flash Player to install either.
Have repeatedly uninstalled the full Adobe free software suite, and Mc Afee and started from the beginning have tried using the 32 bit IE instead of thr 64 bit, when the window comes up showing the registration it only shows the Quit button will not let me use the Agree or Install button and again and again it keeps installing Mc Afee without being asked, I don't use or need Mc Afee as have Nortons. I have also been turning off the norton antivrus while doing the installation as i know that can interfere with it.
been trying this on and off for some days now, multiple times, and I do need to get this fixed I would appreciate some advice thanks

Yes Friend and I posted a message of thanks also which I'm very pleased to send to you personally, the missing link was that little check box you mentioned, I had done the install or tried to many times but never seen that small box so that was the problem.

Ziatron is correct that Flash does not work on an iPad, but it does work on a Mac. See Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.160.

Where are you trying to get Flash Player from? Downloading is different from installing but many malicious websites offer to supply Flash Player as a means of installing malicious software and gathering personal information (e.g., passwords). You should get Adobe Flash only from Adobe and this link lets you download the full installer (Mac OS X (Intel) DMG) and run it locally. At that point OS X will ask for your password and if you've been using it successfully for other purposes (e.g., changing some items in System Preferences), it should work there too. Adobe does not make a flash player for ipod/ipad/iphone and likely never will.

The downloads are probably .dmg files (disk images). You would open the disk image (double-click it) to find the application or an installer. If it's the application itself, you then drag the application to your Applications folder to "install" it. If it's an installer, double-click the installer to run the installer that installs the application.
NOTE: If you iMac is Intel, it's not a PPC G5.

To change your password you will need to open System Preferences, then open Users & Groups, click on Change Password. Change your password to a temporary one, then when you have finished you do the same procedure to change it back, by typing in the temp password then leaving the new password blank. Hope this helps.

After up dates and clearing history and cache disks and defraging, fire fox is not handling farmville . keeps freezing or "not responding. up dated flash player and java script so what is the problem that you cant keep up with the games.

Hi a, Glad you removed Norton. On Skype, go to Tools & Manage add ons. Find any add ons that pertain to
Skype and Disable them. Once these problems have been solved then you can always enable any that have been disabled.
Anytime you lose an Internet connection you will receive those kind of errors. Wireless connections are subject to a loss of signal. I would contact your Carrier and report them.
Any site or game that tells you to update Flash Player, ignore. You did the right thing going to Youtube. If that works, then disregard anything to the contrary. That site is having a problem, not you. Take care not to disrupt your Flash Player Installation!!
On Avast not being able to update would most likely be due to the loss of signal. That Avast updated 3 times is not unusual. That is just a sign of additional risks. I had Avast and during some periods that was done also. No problem.
While you are still in the process of removing programs and troubleshooting, if there are any add ons/plug-ins/extensions that are causing an issue, I would disable them. Once you have your troubleshooting done, then see about them.
On McAfee, didn't that Install with FP at one time? I think you removed that as I recall. You can refer to the instructions I gave you to remove it and make sure it is not there.

Flash player works fine in IE, but not in Mozilla

A big "Q" with a question mark in it desplays in Mozilla
whenever Flash Player is required.
I have done all the things I should have - uninstalled and
reinstalled flash player, made sure Shockwave was installed,
ensured that Quicktime was not set to play Flash files. I have even
run the Adobe test and been informed that Flash and Shockwave are
both successfully installed. But still, the big Q.
Any ideas???

I should add that I am using Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla
Firefox 1.5

As the title says, the Flash Player 10,3,181,26 is not not loading in Safari 5.0.5 64-bit mode, I found out after wasting 2 hours installing/uninstalling the plugin and trying anything from repairing disk permissions to installing a fresh Safari app, then it hit me... switch Safari to 32-bit mode and bang!, Flash Player worked just fine.
Even as a long time Flash developer, I refuse to stay in 32-bit mode just to be able to see my work in Safari so please Adobe guys, find a fix for this.

Hi, You are probably aware of the Square version which is 64bit support. Haven't heard when it may be ready for a shipped version. But it's being worked on. Since you are a Developer, I thought maybe you'd be working on it too.

My system is not a 64bit, but I can see where one would forget which browser they were using. Something like having more than one computer and forgetting which one has certain info:-)

that's it, usually you get and Adobe Flash Player Installer only. For a distribution in a company, or an installation on a PC without internet access, Adobe has available an offline installer. This installer you don't need to uncompress it first. You can download the installation file from there (you must logged in with your Adobe ID): http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
