  • Standalone Flash Player 10.3.181.34 for IE installer mixed up

The standalone installer for Flash Player 10.3.181.34 for Internet Explorer is not working properly.
On my Windows XP computer, flashplayer10_3r181_34_winax.exe is installs a new plugin version of the player instead of upgrading the existing ActiveX vesrion of the player.
In Control Panel -> Add Remove Programs, I now see both the old ActiveX version of Flash Player and a new plugin version.  IE continues to use the old ActiveX version of the player:

    flashplayer10_3r181_34_winax.exe (3,124,384 bytes) came from
      http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.181.34_archive .zip
    through a link on http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html.
Since then, I ran uninstall_flash_player.exe on the Windows XP computer and then re-installed the ActiveX Flash Player using http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.  That worked and IE now shows Flash Player version 10.3.181.34.  I suspect the files now under C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash are not going to be very useful.

  • Error Message When try to Download Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34

I'm trying to download the Adobe Flash Player Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34.  Using Explorer 9 and I have a 32bit operating system.  At about 80% complete, I get the following error message: " The download did not pass the integrity check (162103.304.450)." Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, that message is due to the Download Manager(DLM). It's best not to use it. Use the link the poster provided and SAVE it to your Desktop. Then close all browser windows, disable any instant messenger services from your system tray. It may be better to download the Uninstaller and SAVE it to your Desktop first. Then run it, reboot and then run the Installer and reboot.
If you have any realtime Anti-Virus running, you may want to disable it until you are finished.
    Uninstaller:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Use the EXE Installer for Windows and Internet Explorer.
That should work better for you,

  • Cant Install Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34 - Action List Not Found

Hi, I am trying to install this new version of adobe flash, yet when I  am in the process of installing it says "Installation Encounter  Occurred" then below that it says, "Action List Not Found". Once I hit  done it just takes me to the trouble shooting page. I have uninstalled  the previous version already, also ran CCleaner scan and registry, and  in the alternative installation page (http://http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html)  I only found links for Adobe Flash 10.3 but not 10.3.181.34? I'm not  the most internet savvy person around but I am good at following  instructions and am willing to sit this out until I fix it if anyone  knows how to help me. Searching around on the internet didn't help me  much and I didn't want to pay the $39 for telephone support so I figure  this is the last alternative .  Any help asap would be much appreciated I have a program that says it  will only run with the latest update of flash. Thank you. Also my browser is running in 64 bit mode if that means anything, although I am not sure how to check if it is or not.

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html contains the latest Flash Player 10.3.181.34 installers.
This release will only work on 32-bit browsers.
If you still have problems, please specify your operating system and browser.

  • Opening FLV files using Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.23

    Hello
I have with me a few FLV files from YouTube - so i had searched that Flash Players could open such files.
I'd like to enquire if this version of Flash Player 10.3.181.23 does work? Are there other steps i have to undertake before opening these FLV files?
My computer has Windows XP; and meets the system requirements for using Flash Players.
Looking forward to your further guidance in this forum.
    Kind Regards.

    You mean local FLV files?
No, Flash Player cannot play them, even the standalone player.  You need Adobe Media Player to play these.
Unfortunately AMP is no longer available for download from the Adobe site; you will have to download it from some 3rd-party download site.

  • Mac Problems with Flash Player 10.3.181.34

    Hallo,
I have installed Flash Player 10.3.181.34 and it works fine, when I tried to change my desktop-picture in the system settings it doesn't work. There was a crash-report that told me: Perhaps the crash comes from the flash-plugin. After I uninstall the Flash Player 10.3.181.34 , there was no problem to change the desktop-picture. Is there somebody,  have the same problem.

    Hello roboz79
I have a Windows XP/IE8 follow the instructions below. P.S. the settings is the key to making it all work.
#1  As a user, I'd recommend uninstalling the debug player and grabbing the normal version.  You'll get better performance and these errors won't pop up on you. P.S. "Start from scatch"  uninstall shockwave or any other Adobe plug-in or Adobe programs "before you reninstall".
    #2
    Settings:
"left click" and under setting/display/-Enable hardware acceleration/Privacy/-deny/Local storage/-100KB/record volume/-somewhere in the middle works/Camera/-Not sure if you have one?
    #3
    Global Settings:
Click start/ control panel/ Flash Player Icon/Local Storage Settings/-Allow sites to save information on this computer/Camera and Mic/-Ask me when a site wants to use the camera or microphone (Recommended)/ Playback/-Ask me when a site want to use a peer-assisted networking/ Advanced/-Check for updates automatically (Recommended).
then re-boot and hopefully everything will work....I hope lol

  • Flash player will not install blank installer, full download? tool remove remnants of flash?

    Windows 7 64bit, Firefox,Explorer, Chrome
For the longest time flash player will not install (updates for upgrades).
If I go to the main page I can download the 1mb file then open it up and the installer box opens but never does anything and is just black except the top bar. I can't even close it out. I have to "end task" it. I has been going on for a year or so.  I usually have to find a link to the full installer version but can't find it anymore.
Is there a tool to remove all remnants of Adobe flash player?
Link to full installer version of player?
I tried uninstalling all versions but still the same problem
    Thanks

The installer works for the vast majority of people.  We serve up something like 1.2 billion installs every months, so a failure rate of even 0.0001 is > 100,000 people.  We're not seeing that kind of traffic about this issue.
As the installer isn't dependent on Flash Player, and it doesn't leave anything around beyond a log file, it's unlikely that blowing Flash Player completely away would resolve anything, and it sounds like your efforts bear that out.  There's something underneath us that's not working right.  With Mac, it's usually corrupted NVRAM settings, but I'm not sure what it is on Windows.  My guess is that it's related to the graphics subsystem, but it's not something that I've seen happen under lab conditions, and we'd need to debug it to get a definitive answer.
So, I have a couple suggestions in order of least to most effort:
    Switch to Google Chrome.
Flash Player is a built-in component, so there's nothing separate to download or maintain.  Updates happen automatically as part of the standard Chrome update process, so you never have to touch another Adobe installer if you don't want to.
Scan your hard disk for errors, run the Windows system file checker, and make sure you have the latest graphics drivers for your system
Check your hard disk for errors in Windows 7
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
Back up all of your stuff (ideally to both a disk and an online backup service for redundancy), wipe the machine and do a fresh install of Windows

  • Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.16

Is this new version of flash player (10.3.181.16) just for those using Windows IE9?
Or is it for anyone using IE, such as IE7 or IE8?
someone told me it was just for those using IE9.
Would it cause problems if one upgraded to Flash Player version 10.3.181.16 and they were still using IE7?

Hi, My understanding it is just for the Windows Platform : http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
    http://blogs.adobe.com/flashruntimereleases/2011/05/31/flash-player-10-3-181-16-windows-ac tivex-released/
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/904/cpsid_90416.html
The 10.3.181.16 followed the 10.3.181.15 which was a fix for certain issues involving FP 10.3.181.14 and Windows IE9 browser. The links above explain the issues.
The first link shows that it is for Windows & Internet Explorer browsers. It doesn't say it's only for IE9, but I would decide after reading the other links.
If you are having those issues, then maybe that would be useful to Install it. If you are not having those issues, then if it were me,
    I wouldn't install it. That's my opinion.

  • Flash Player 10.3.181.26 Plug-in msi

I just downloaded Flash Player 10.3.181.26 Plug-in MSI and when I opened it with Orca, it said ProductVersion 10.3.181.22. Is anyone else ran into this same issue. Thank you!

I have just downloaded both MSI installers from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
Both (ActiveX & plugin) are digitally signed on Saturday June 11, 2011 - same as the EXE installers.
If you still get the old MSI installers upon download, check if you have a download cache somewhere that needs to be cleaned out.

I still have a problem, that I'll repost as I was somewhat frustrated  the first time I posted it and made a snappy remark when someone posted  a solution to a problem that at best only vaguely resembled mine, upon  which the villagers took to their torches and pitchforks and decided  that I didn't deserve the joys of a normally working Flash player; the second thread was ignored altogether and I even  called the local Adobe support line this morning, to no avail.
I   think it started about last  week, after an update: every time I watch  a  video (whether it be on  YouTube or elsewhere) that is longer than 5   minutes (and often shorter),  the video starts stuttering after a few   minutes. First the framerate  slows down to about 1 frame every 3-4   seconds before grinding to a  complete halt, almost freezing all of my   computer in the process until I  close the tab, although sometimes a   full reboot is needed. The audio  largely remains unaffected.
When   I upgraded the Flash  player, the problems persisted. Turning off   hardware acceleration seems  to have helped but I am not sure--I have   had some audio problems since  disabling this. It's odd and really very   frustrating as I have a very  decent video card. What is going on  here?  How can this be fixed? What do  I miss out on by disabling  hardware  acceleration?
I am currently using Firefox 5 with Flash player 10,3,181,34 on Windows Vista 32bit.
UPDATE: After having turned off hardware acceleration the problems persist but occur slightly less frequently.

  • Flash Player does not stay upon Installation

Hi, can someone please give me some advice for fixing this problem?
I use IE8 on a Windows 32-bit system. I was recently prompted to install Flash, though I've never had any problems with it previous to this prompt. Upon looking, all of the Flash animations I attempted to view were nothing but a white box. I went to the Adobe site and attempted to install the newest Flash, but the installer froze at 100% every time.
I used a custom installaion, choosing Windows as my operating system and IE as my browser. It finished installing, and once I was redirected to the Adobe site, the Flash animation played telling me it had been properly installed.
Flash worked perfectly fine until I closed and re-opened IE8. Suddenly, it was like Flash was never there. No animations would play, once again, though the Flash Player 10 ActiveX file was still in the Control Panel.
I have tried almost every fix I have seen for problems with Flash including the manual installer, but none of them have given me any results. Can someone please help with this issue? Thanks in advance.

    Hi, .
Ok, so you have the version 10.3.181.14 Installed now, that was the best way to do that. I'm sure you checked the Shockwave Flash Object to make sure it was Installed and Enabled. Also that it is the same FP version.
I had previously mentioned the UAC(User Account Control) I've seen a few threads that before the FP 10.3 version that it was performing as it should, but since it doesn't appear to be. So I'd like you to turn if OFF and see if that makes a difference.
    Let me know,
    Thanks,

  • Flash player 10.3.181.14 requires intel pentium 4 2.33ghz,I have  intel CPU T2080@1.73ghz processor

I am trying to use Adobe Flash player at home to simply surf the web. For a long time I've been getting prompts to update Flash Player and however much I updated it the prompts kept on poping up. This got so frustrating I decided i'd try to fix the problem once and for all. So I checked the system requirements Adobe recommend for the update I had been downloading and found one of the minimum requirements to be an intel pentium 4 2.33ghz processor. I checked my system and I have only an intel CPU [email protected] processor. My question is, does this explain why I am having so many problems? I've tried to download an earlier version of Flash Player but I always get redirected to the 10.3.181.14 version. How it has come to this I am not quite sure but I must admit I have removed the Flash Player from my computer at the moment and I'm worried that it was a mistake because will I ever get a working version again? I am running Windows Vista 32bit and Internet Explorer 8 32bit. I am out of my depth so please be gentle!

  • Flash player 11.0.1.152 installation problem with Windows Vista 64-Bit

    Hello,
I just can't get Flash Player to install on my computer with Windows Vista 64-Bit - doesnt matter if I try with Firefox, Opera or IE (I usually use Firefox).
The download isn't a problem, but when I start the downloaded .exe, this file just disappears from my download folder and nothing happens - besides starting a process called install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih_3.exe, which does nothing. The usual installation popup never appears. After that I can't try starting the installation again, until disabling the process via task manager ("Only a single instance of this application may run"). Doesn't matter if I try the download and installation with or without "McAffe Security Plus" btw - same result.
I never had such a problem before - Flash Player 10.3 was and is no problem to install and use.
I have tried all the measures suggested in the troubleshooting section on the official site, including the advanced troubleshooting measures (uninstall old version, run as administrator, disabling software firewalls, disabling virus scanner etc.). Nothing helps.
I don't got those problems with my laptop running Windows 7 - just my desktop computer with Vista 64-Bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using the installers from the links in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550
P.S. topic moved to the Installation section of the forum.
