    Hi all
my notebook MSI Gt60 0ND wont recognize USB 3.0 mass storage device (WD), Western digital my passport 1TB USB 3.0 \ USB 2.0Compatible.
i connect the WD my passport to the SS USB 3.0 but it wont be recognized it only gives it electricity to spin but that's it, on the other hand if i connect it to the USB2.0 it is recognized.
i installed all the drivers from MSI to this computer the Intel USB 3.0 and the Intel chipset which are the only drivers that can be related to this.
i use windows 7, even when i had windows 8 it didn't work.
i tried upgrading the Western digital my passport firmware and even got the software thought that maybe it could help but still no luck.. any one got any idea for a solution ?
    Thanks in advance,
    David.

Does anything else work when you plug it into your USB 3.0 port? How about a mouse? Keyboard? Another USB Flash drive?
If nothing works in that port, your USB 3.0 port or card is probably bad. RMA time.

    Download the offline installer here
    Quit your browser
    Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
    Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder) from there
    Empty the trash
Mount the DMG and run the installer
    Relaunch your browser

Where are you trying to get Flash Player from? Downloading is different from installing but many malicious websites offer to supply Flash Player as a means of installing malicious software and gathering personal information (e.g., passwords). You should get Adobe Flash only from Adobe and this link lets you download the full installer (Mac OS X (Intel) DMG) and run it locally. At that point OS X will ask for your password and if you've been using it successfully for other purposes (e.g., changing some items in System Preferences), it should work there too. Note that once Flash Player is installed, a Preference panel is installed too, and in it you can authorize Adobe to update Flash automatically.

  • How can I download Flash Player 10.3.183.11 for my Mac OS 10.5.8

I tried to get to the archive software on your site to get Flash Player 10.3.183.11 for my Mac OS 10.5.8.  It is not clickbable to download.  Please help.
    Thank you

I don't know what you mean "not clickable".  Here is the direct link I got from the archive page
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.183.11_archive .zip
But there is a newer Flash Player 10 version available for Mac OS X 10.5 (Intel, not PowerPC):

  • Flash Player 8 Won't Install On My Mac

I find Flash Player, version 8.0 to be rather difficult to
open on my computer. Simply put, my computer is a PowerMac 4,2 (OS
system is 10.4.6) that has a 2.0.3 version of the web browser
Safari on it (plus over 4 GB of memory leftover) and it refuses to
install. This is all supposedly a supportable version of operating
systems, memory & web browsers, according the support center.
I’m allowed to download it and open up the
application, but as soon as I get to the first installation window
(where it tells me to close all browsers), I close my browsers and
the same screen shows up no matter how many times I click on the
    button “install.”
    What's wrong here?.
How can I get this application to install properly as it
    should?
    SOMEONE
    please respond ASAP.

Thanks for getting back. Yes, as I mentioned, I did uninstall all other Flash Players and restarted because I had read about that tip. I also tried downloading it from the .pkg and no luck there. Also from Safari instead of from Firefox. Is this Flash Player 10.3.183.7 a stand-alone plug in or is it an update to one I should already have? Also, what is the Flash Player Debugger for. I am a mac OS 10.6.8, intel based. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

  • Flash Player Installs but wont work.

    Hello,
I am currently having a proble with my parents computer and Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
It downloades and installs but when I go to a site to check it for example poker on facebook, all it says is i need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
Theyr copmuter OS is Windows Vista 32-Bit, Have java 6 u 23. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple ties, still the same thing. I tried the logo thing that Adobe offers to check as well and it doesnt show either. I looked in the C:/ folder area where it tells you to look and the only file in there was a Flash text document. That i know is not right, but every install is the same one file. Got tired of fighting with it for an hour and decided to come home and post on here and see if anyone could help. And using IE8.

Hi, if there are no files in the Flash folder(system32) except a text doc, then Flash Player is not Installed.
The Administrator Account must be used to Uninstall/Install Flash Player.
When you were Installing did you receive any error messages? If not then you would need to Uninstall and Install again.
Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer for IE- use the EXE Installer
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
Close all browser windows, you only want to be looking at your Desktop.
Disable any messenger services, as yahoo, msn, etc in the system tray(area near the clock)
If you use Norton or McAfee Anti-Virus, you would want to disable that also as they can block the Shockwave Flash Object.
Be sure to use the Administrator Account.
Run the Uninstaller and when finished, Reboot(restart) your computer.
Run the Installer for IE, Run the Installer for FF and when finished, Reboot.
Then go to this test site and test each browser:
    http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
You may want to print these instructions to make it easier to follow. If you have any questions, let me know.
    Thanks,

  • Load Latest Flash Player and it wont play

If you download the latest player and after installation all

    and download Flashplayer_9_ax debug file.
It is the top file under FlashPlayer 9 debugger fileson the
    above page.
This has worked for a number of us here.

As you don't say which iMac you have (PPC or Intel):
You can check here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/  to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3 or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.0.1.152 is for Lion.
    * Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC Macs, you need to go here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html  and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the one you download. More information here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
(If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, contributor Texas Mac Man suggests the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the latest version:)
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

  • Flash Player 10 problem in Firefox on a Mac

I have recently downloaded Flash Player 10 to my default Firefox browser on my Mac.
I am now trying to record videos from my webcam but the program is saying "Click here to allow Flash Player". However, nothing happens when I click "allow".When I switch to Safari it does allow me to open the webcam and record the video.
What can I do to make it work in Firefox as this is my default browser?
I am running Firefox 3.6.8 and Snow Leopard.

I don't see any Flash content on that page you linked.

  • Flash Player 10.3 is not recognized in Mac OS X 10.5.8 no matter what i do

    OK,
I have uninstalled, re-installed. I have java restored my defaults. I have tried a lower version (10.1). This is ridiculous and beyond frustrating. I am not a savvy computer guy but I know that I am missing something! I have searched every forum for a solution and I am at my end.
    HELP!
I don't know why this happened, when it happened, but i cam down to use my Mac and I could not watch you tube, etc....
I have searched my hard drive, listed the plug ins in the "help" menu. It doesn't show up. PERIOD.
I did the Adobe "test" and it says i am missing the "plug-in" but when I click on that it just sends me to the download screen and I select the exact same thing.
Oh yeah i even unclicked that "rosetta" box. NOTHING!
So who wants to give me the solution PLEASE!!!???
    Is this an Adobe issue?
    Is this a Mac issue?
I have NEVER had a problem with my mac the entire time I have had it.....why now?
Thank you so very much whomever replies!

  • How to get Flash Player 10.1 r53 to work with Mac OS X 10.6.4.

I have the latest version of Flash Player on my Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard computer but I can't get videos to play.  I've read in Adobe comments that Flash Player 10.1 is not working on 64-bit systems (which is mine).  How can I get a version of Flash Player that WILL work on my Mac??  When I try to play a video from youtube.com it says I need to upgrade my Flash Player and to get it from Adobe (which I did but the 10.1 version doesn't work!!!  I'd appreciate any help I can get from anyone who can provide a solution.   Thank you.   Dave McCanna

The Flash Player forum is here
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/webplayers/flash_player
You will also need to specify what browser and version you are using.
You will also need to give a little bit more info than just "does not work".

  • HT5655 So do I really need to download Flash Player? Is it causing problems with Macs? I have heard opposing views... I have Mountain lion 10.7.5.

I am confused as to what I should do about the Adobe Flash Player. Did Apple block it for a reason? Has that reason now dissappeared? Do I even need Flash player anymore? I have heard numerous, conflicting comments. This is just my home computer.... not a business or anything fancy. Thanks.

Gaping security holes have been affecting Java. Recently Adobe plugged a hole found in Flash.
Adobe has since released an upgrade you can install if you need Flash. Oracle released a new version of Java for those who need to use Java in their browser.

  • Flash Player doesn't work on Power PC Mac OS 10.5.8?

Is there a workaround for the absence of support from Adobe for my Power Mac G5, Power PC, 10.5.8? I used to get the option to "use original player" but YouTube doesn't seem to do that anymore, so all I got this morning is a black screen where a video should be.

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.
