Flash Player 10.x crashes any browser (Windows 7)
I have upgraded my Flash Player to version 10.1.
Since I downloaded and install that plugin, I can't enjoy viewing YouTube and other services which provides streaming videos.
My computer is hardly hanging up (not depends from browser - same effects causes in IE8 and Chrome) - only "reset" button helps when I start to viewing streaming video. That crash takes a some time - from few seconds to few minutes, but always appear.
Please, help me!
P.S. Sorry for my poor English
Hi, Have you tried to turn off the hardware acceleration? Right click on the video and you should see a Display Setting that you can turn it off. Also updating your graphic and video drivers is being recommended.
Try that and see if it helps.
Thanks,

Adobe Flash Player not working on any browser in computer
I really need help flash player not working in any browser in google chrome. For example in http://www.twitch.tv/ You need Adobe Flash Player to watch this video. Download it from Adobe. I already did everything to fix it shown in support page please help!!!!
Same problem on the same website here, pls help
-Hi, i think I've manage to solve the problem by following the instruction on the following page
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html
remember to restart your browser after doing the steps -
Flash Player not working in any browser.
I am running Windows 7 x64 and have no pending windows updates.
When I go to:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
I can see the two indicators that tell me that I have Flash installed.
I recently got my motherboard back from an RMA and installed an extra GPU and a new PSU (running an HD 6850 and HD 6870 in CrossfireX). Ever since the upgrade, flash player has crashed any time I try to view a youtube video in any browser, or any time I've tried to log into League of Legends (Which I believe runs on Adobe Air). I have tried updating my graphics drivers and also reverting them to older drivers, as well as updating flash/air and reverting them as well. I have also gone into Chrome://plugins and disabled/enabled in almost every combination possible - to no avail.
Any help? The HTML5 video loaded perfectly and even worked every single time when I refreshed. The non-HTML5 video didn't work no matter how many times I tried again.
Also, I had LoLReplay the first time I tried, and then reinstalled windows completely (was about time for a fresh start anyways) and have not reinstalled LoLReplay but I'm still having the same problem.
I will update this post with my DXdiag information shortly.
EDIT:
Also, I have tried disabling/enabling hardware acceleration and it seems to make no difference. I have tried disabling CrossfireX or using just one or the other of the graphics cards as well but that seems to make no difference as well

Flash Player not working on any browser. (Video's keep loading forever)
Hello everyone!
I've been having problems with my Flash Player for about a week now and I just can't seem to find a solution that works.
I'm not sure when the last update was, but I assume that could have caused my problems somehow. It used to work properly before.
I now have Adobe Flash Player version 16.0.0.235.
The browser I use is: Google Chrome.
I use Windows 8 x64.
I also tried Firefox and Internet Explorer to see if I can watch video's there, but they don't work there either. The video's just keep loading no matter what I do.
Strangely enough today one video suddenly started to play itself after about..5 minutes. But when I tried to watch other video's after that happened, it didn't seem to work anymore.
The first day I installed Firefox I could just watch video's without any problems as well. But after that, It didn't work anymore either. It worked for just one day.
YouTube video's work properly, though. So do Facebook games, GIF's and such.
I only can't watch video's on other websites. ( For example: AnimeHaven ) My friends have no problems watching these video's.
I have no idea what could be the cause of these problems and I hope someone can help me fix this.
I tried everything I could find on the internet so far.Yeah, it's probably not a driver thing. If you haven't rebooted already, definitely do that. It might just be that the graphics hardware is in a bad state.
The last thing we shipped was December 9th, so it's not like Flash Player changed. If these symptoms just started recently, it seems unlikely that a recent change to Flash is the root-cause. It's possible that Chrome might have pushed a change since then, but I talked to the Chrome guys yesterday and they didn't mention anything about a widespread video playback problem. They have really excellent telemetry, so they usually know pretty quickly when things break.
It might be that your Chrome install is somehow damaged, and you could do a complete uninstall/reinstall of Chrome to see if the issue goes away. You can also disable hardware acceleration in Chrome itself (it's under Preferences > Advanced > System > Use hardware acceleration if available) to see if that helps.
Is the issue isolated to a specific video or video site/sites? Does it happen in either Internet Explorer or Firefox (they're both significantly different copies of Flash Player, which would be an interesting data point)? -
Flash player not recognised in any browser
I cannot get any browser to regonise that Flash player is installed, this also happpens when working on a testing server(wamp)
This only started after trying to fix the firefox problem!!Thanks Pat Willener.
I did not see the camera icon. There is the image with the visual result of the problem:
My drivers are the latest taked from the original site: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2942#ov
My MOBO drivers are also the latest taken from the original site as well. -
Installed and verifed but Flash Player continues to crash in Firefox. Any suggestions
Flash Player sometime activates and then crashes after a few seconds.
Thanks for responding Chris. Flash Player consistently crashes no matter what site I am in. I've tried all of the suggested fixes in Flash Player help and nothing has been successful. The computer confirms that I have downloaded the most recent file but Adobe Flash Player doesn't show in the Firfox Add Ons. I also tried Firefox flash player suggestions but none worked. It crashes no matter what page I am on. If flash player is required, it crashes. It also crashes in Internet Explorer. I am a novice so please bear with me. Thanks for any help you can offer.

created by chris.campbell in Using Flash Player - View the full discussionHello,I'm sorry you're encountering these problems. I'll try what I can to help. 1. Have you tried any browser other than Firefox? It would be helpful to know if these same types of crashes occur with Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.2. Did this crashing behavior just start occurring? If so, was there a particular update or event that preceded the crashing?3. Does the crashing happen consistently? Ie. If you go to the same web page that contains Flash content, does it crash every time you visit? Does it crash when you visit this page? Flash Player Help What pages does it crash on?4. Can you visit about:crashes within Firefox and submit some of the most recent crashes. Once submitted, please post back with the crash URL's.4. Can you try resetting your Firefox profile? Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
Firefox Help5. Finally, can you try temporarily disabling protected mode to see if that makes a difference (this will be the last step in the faq)? How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox? Thanks,

What can I do if shockwave flash player is constantly crashing on google chrome browser ?
What can I do if shockwave flash player is constantly crashing on google chrome ?
I think Google Chrome is more easy to troubleshoot. Try this:
1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the far-right Icon (Customize and control Google Chrome).
3. Select about Google Chrome. It check if Google Chrome is up to date and if not it'll get update.
4. You must wait until a GREEN check mark appear saying your Google Chrome is up to date.
5. Remember, you don't need to get Adobe Flash Player separately because Google Chrome has it own integrated Player.
6. Accept Google Chrome constant upgrade to their Chrome browser.
Wishing you Good Luck! -

Flash Player 10.1 crashes with IE7, IE8 & FF3.6.6
Hello! First I'd like to say you all are providing excellent information and help here. I've read some answers and am very impressed with the time you take to help Adobe product users. Maybe you can help me too! *hopes*
I have read a couple of the threads to see what I need to provide here. I hope I give all the needed information. First of all, I sound kind of like the user 'Carol' who uses Farmville/Facebook and updated to Internet Explorer 8, Flash Player 10.1 and there was another program she mentioned. Anyway, my problem is similar except FP 10.1 crashes while using FF3.6.6, IE7 or IE8. I have also reverted back to FP 9 (just to test the browsers) with same results - player crashes. I have not run my SuperAntispyware to see if a virus could be the issue - although I am suspecting it is Not since so many others are experiencing problems with FP also. My SuperAntispyware virus protection does not protect real time so there is nothing to disable regarding that. When I'm using IE I do keep Protected Mode On. If you would like me to try a game session with it Off, I can try that and provide you with the results, however FF has been my browser of choice lately, but now it is failing me too with the FP.
The sites I am having trouble with are Shockwave.com and BigSeagames.com (instead of Facebook & Farmville like Carol is/was having). There are certain games at Shockwave and BigSeas that crash consistently. Another player at BigSeas was told to not use IE, and to try FF. So I did just that. It worked for awhile, but then FP started crashing as well. I have searched FF, Microsoft and now Adobe for help with this FP problem. It consistently keeps crashing.
You can freely go to Firefox browser and type in the ID for my FF crash reports (listed below) - in the FF browser type about:crashes in address bar; on the resulting screen you can paste in the report numbers, if there is time to look at a couple. I won't include all the reports, unless you specify that you need them. Today I have had the most crashes - 12 total! I have always been an IE-girl (lol) just because I was so use to it. I don't really care what browser I use as long as it works!
Thanks for any help you can give and I look forward to hearing from someone. ~MindyI've had this problem with Flash Player 10.1 crashing constantly in Firefox 3.6.6 since July 4th weekend. I eventually installed version 3.6.3 and it stopped happening.
Once I installed FF version 3.6.8 this morning, the problem came back.
I tried this solution and it seems to be working so far (keep your fingers crossed!)
(from: http://www.technogadge.com/how-to-stop-firefox-plugin-container-exe-process/)
Steps to stop plugin-container.exe process:
Open Firefox web browser.
Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter key.
A warning will appear. Ignore it and press the "I’ll be careful, I promise!" button.
In the Filter field type dom.ipc. Six preferences will appear for the filter dom.ipc.
Ignore first and last preferences. Toggle (double-click) each of the four remaining preferences to change the value from "true" to "false".
That’s it. Look the screenshot.
Explanation: The crash protection feature in Firefox 3.6 is enabled for certain plugins only. The four preferences that we modified here specifies four different out-of-process plugins. They are the the NPAPI test plugin, Adobe Flash, Apple QuickTime (Windows) and Microsoft Silverlight (Windows). These plugins are specified in a separate dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.<filename> preference by default is set to true. We can disable them by changing their value to false. And thus plugin-container.exe will not run. By default the preference dom.ipc.plugins.enabled is already set to "false". So, no need to touch it. The dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs is also not important here as other values are false. -
Flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits
Hello,
My flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits with Firfox and IE8 (lasts versions).
My Flash player version : 10.0.45.2, but I tried with version 9 too, with same problems.
I have tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall several times, ... witch did not worked.
In fact, it works correctly on some sites, like youtube, but not on some others like :
http://www.dailymotion.com/ => black screen instead of videos, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.canalplus.fr/ => videos does not load, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.myspace.com/ => no audio player, right click gives flash context menu
some games in http://www.kongregate.com/ => black screen instead of games, right click gives flash context menu
I have no problem with shockwave in http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
No problem too with flash player on http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
But in the Global Privacy Settings panel (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l), I cannot change any settings :
I cannot check boxes,
My changes are not saved.
In most of flash animations, videos, ...,
when I click on parameters, I cannot do anything, even closing.
when I am in full screen mode, the message "press escape to exit...." does not disappear.
Last thing, all those problems was not there when I was on Windows XP, few weeks ago, and appear with my registered Windows 7 premium familly edition, with the same hardware configuration...
Thank you for your helpHi eidnolb
Thanks for your answer.
This is what I have :
Verify user permissions
I have an administrator account.
I tried (uninstall, install and run) with super-administrator account for same results
Install the most current version.
I am running the latest version (10.0.45.2)
Run the Clean Installer to Fix 3rd Party Flash Player Cleaners
I did not "clean" my computer.
Troubleshoot Pop-up blockers
I have no Pop-up or esle blocker software.
Ensure that Internet utilities do not block Flash Player
I tried (uninstall, install and run) without Avast.
I have windows 7 firewall. I do not know where I can allow ActiveX controls and Flash (SWF) content. I do not see anything relative to ActiveX an Flash in allowed program list.
Fix machine crashes when displaying Flash content
I have no freez or crash.
Using IE, Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled and vs 10.0.45.2
Using FF, I have SWF vs 10.0.45.2 and it is Enabled
I really do not understand !!
Thanks,

Some questions about the limit of memory usage of Adobe flash player in different OS & Web Browser
Hi Adobe experts,
I'm from HP, and now using Adobe flash player making some products about massive data displaying.
For my target, I need to show more than 200 K rows in client web browser, using AdvancedDataGrid.
And that may needs more than 200M to cache the data in Web browser memory space.
So, my questions are:
Does there any memory usage limit in flash player?
Say, if we have 4G bytes of physical memory in machine, in Windows, how much can I use in flash player?
Also, if we have 4G bytes of physical memory in Linux, how much can I use in flash player?
Does it depends on the Web Browser?
Say, is there any difference between different web browsers?
If the limit exists, can we control the limit?
Say, can we define some parameters in the tag in web page to expand the limitation?
Or, can we try to control this limitation by the Flash player management which exists in the Windows Control Panel?
Best Regards

[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>1. Yes. The Toolkit for CreateJS is an extra downloadable extension for Flash CS6. It will publish html and js files that will provide the animation instead of the swf that you would normally publish. The success or failure of the resulting javascript version of your animation is the result of working within the constraints of the toolkit. You are pretty much constrained to using the timeline in Flash for your animations. If you work only in Actionscript, then the output will be very disappointing.
2. Edge outputs javascript, css, and html to give you an animation. The user interface allows you to design within the constraints of what Edge can do. You can preview and adjust and tweek your animation as you work. Edge is an html5 tool. It can create html5 animation. It is not a replacement for Flash. It is something that you can use instead of Flash to embed animation in html.
The problems and benefits of each are unique. Neither is a good substitute to learning javascript, css and html5. If you don't understand the code that is created from each of these tools, you can easily end up with huge, bloated, files that perform poorly. I'm very biased toward actually knowing what is going on. If I need to edit something, I want to be able to go into the code and make a change, not add an additional chunk of code to work around what was there. I don't use the timeline at all, and so nothing that I have will publish using CreateJS. Well, it will publish, but nothing happens because there is nothing on the timeline to translate.
You can download a trial of Flash CS6 and try the Toolkit for yourself. Edge is still in free preview, you can get a copy at http://labs.adobe.com and try it to see how it works.
Also, if you're not using the Greensock Animation Platform with Flash, have a look at that. It has recently been extended to provide Javascript analogues for most of the Libraries. http://www.greensock.com/ -
Is Flash Player 11 just not compatible with Windows Vista 64 bit?
When I installed the latest version of Flash, I lost the ability to view You Tube videos for more than the first 3 or 4 seconds. Today I went to the adobe site thinking I needed a new flash player, and got this message:
Note:Flash Player does not support 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Vista. Flash Player 11 now includes support for Windows 7 64-bit.
Seriously? So I have to scrap my computer or get Windows 7 in order to use Flash?
I am not a techy, so I have resisted coming to the forums and getting a response I don't know what to do with. If you have an answer for this, I would really REALLY appreciate it if you can translate it into language for the lay person.
It isn't just You Tube videos, either. So many news and other items are now done in video instead of an article, and I am finding that I am not able to get information I am looking for because of this.
Please help!susancritelli wrote:

What this means is the following: the 64-bit version of Flash Player will install fine on Vista 64-bit, but Adobe will not provide support if it does not work as expected.
In fact, Adobe will not provide any support for any Flash Player on any platform, except here in this forum.
I suggest that you
uninstall your current Flash Player using the uninstaller from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
install the 64-bit Flash Player with the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#Ins tall_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment

My Adobe Flash Player Plugin keeps crashing. Annoying
I play games from the developer Zynga and I keep getting Adobe Flash Player plugin has crashed. I downloaded Mozilla Firefox thinking that I would have more luck with it than IE. Not so far. What can I do to correct this?
Reloading the page will often get the video, game or animation to play again.
If Flash continues to crash, updating to the latest version of Flash should fix the issue.
As this has been happening to you for a long time, try this too...
Go to this Flash help page on adobe.com.
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html?promoid=ISMRY
Right-click on the box that lists your Flash player version and then click Settings… in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.
Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
Restart Firefox.
