Flash player 11 crashing all my browsers.
I wonder if I updated my flash player from 10 to 11 recently and reinstalled firefox. Then I start getting this error whever I access to any website with flash content. I thought it was a facebook plugin problem. But I don't think so because I can access facebook.com without problems. Now all flash content are blank. So I uninstall it with an uninstaller, restart computer, and reinstall flash player 11. The error would come up and then freezes. I tried reverted to flash player 10, now I get the same problem.
This error comes up at Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Camino. None of the browsers could play flash content.
I got my own problem solved since nobody on this forum seem to have anything in common.
Just want to share this because this has being causing me a lot of problems:
1. Adobe Flash Player won't work after install on all browsers.
2. An Unresponsive script warning came up every time I accessed any websites with flash content or facebook's "like" button that requires sending data to facebook.
3. Can't watch all online TV streaming that uses flash player.
Anyway. Problems solved 99% after I installed AdBlock Plus add on in Firefox and add a new filter to block anything that is under these locations:
1. Facebook.com/ai.php?
2. Facebook.com/plugins/recommendations.
Now, no more freezing when accessing any websites with flash content and facebook plugins. Can watch online TV streaming and play games.
I've got the solution from this page.

This is the latest version. I used the uninstaller tool and did a fresh reinstall. I did not delete all the directories from the old setting, so that might be next, but I feel like I am grasping at straws here.
The firefox installation is also the latest version. I am on Windows 7 x64. Dual Xeons.
I do notice the flash control panel says (32 bit), which seems odd.
I read where it said to try turning off hardware acceleration, but I do not have such a setting in my CP, and I cannot get the flash player to work long enough to use the old settings panel.
Can someone give me some steps to isolate the problem?OK, now. I have not used facebook on firefox in a few days, and I have not seen the flash crashes.
In fact, no firefox crashes. But I now have 20 in the last 5 minutes.
Not flash, however.
Could be something else, or this could be all related.
Flash is working on my fitbit dashboard, so that's just *not* the problem. Or not at the moment.
This crash dump is quite a bit different from the last one.

My reply to you there:
Hi to Tutench, You may want to review this thread since that person was having problems similar to yours.
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/763525?tstart=0
If you haven't done so yet, you could right click on a youtube video, select Settings and then UNcheck the hardware acceleration under Display Settings. See if that is an improvement.
If none of those suggestions help, then please start a thread and it will be easier to help you. Too confusing when more than one person is on a thread:-) -
Ever since I updated to Safari 6.1, nothing using flash works. It is up to date and will work on all other web browsers.
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Now try a video. -
Flash videos randomly crash all my browsers
Sometimes when trying to watch flash videos e.g Youtube the
browser will just end process and disappear with the error "An
unhandled Win32 exception has occurred". I've tried fresh install
of flash and said browsers with no luck. The problem occurs in IE6,
FIrefox v3.04 and Opera v9.62. Is there anything I can do to get
flash working properly on my system?
System: Pentium II 450Mhz (Dual Kernel) Windows 2000 Pro,
512MB RAM (with full administrator rights)
Flash installed: Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X v10.0.12.36
& Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin v10.0.12.36.

Flash and Shockwave crash all my browsers
Hi
I have suddenly started having a problem, everytime i try and do something such as play a youtube video, or view a website with flash content, I get a message saying explorer/chrome/firefox has encountered a problem and needs to close...however when i click close or ok etc it doesnt close the window it just refreshes the page and all flash content is black with that puzzle icon saying shockwave flash error.
I have tried to reinstall every browser, java, flash, shockwave, everythig but it still does itHi, well, each browser has various ActiveX Controls, plug-ins, BHO's (browser helper objects) etc. Any add on affects the browser, some have a positive affect and some have a negative affect. In addition to affecting the browser, these add ons can conflict with each other. Third party Toolbars, not the Toolbar per se, but most additional Toolbars will install
their own add ons.
The general rule with add ons is the less, the better. For example IE runs perfectly well with no add ons at all. Now we know that we like those add ons that add to our use of the Internet, like Flash Player, Java and others. Microsoft add ons,
Flash Player add ons and most Java work well together. What you would do is disable all add ons in IE other than those and see if that improves or makes a difference in the problem you are having.
I would work on one browser at a time and solve that first.
Using IE first, do a search on the add ons other than Microsoft, Adobe and Java. You would probably see other users having a problem with a particular one. Skype is one that causes problems and a search would have info on that. There are others. That is what I meant by searching.
Hope this helps,

What is causing Flash Player to crash shortly after I download and install the latest version
It only normally lasts a day or two, but the last time it crashed on the first use the same day I downloaded and installed it. I am running Windows 7 Home Edition with Firefox as my browser, and I have Bitdefender antivirus as well as MalwareBytes anti malware installed and active. As far as I can tell Flash Player is the only program affected this way. Is there any other substitute player I can install that works as a plugin to Firefox and won't crash the day it's installed?
When I used to see this with Win 7 it was because the Shockwave player (not Flash) was outdated.
To make sure you're up to date for both, download the following:
Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Also, download these:
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Shockwave Player 12 FULL installer (ther browsers)
Save all the files and close your browser.
Run the uninstallers first (both of them)
Go to: C/Windows/System32
Delete the Macromed folder.
Go to: C/Windows/SysWOW64 (if your Windows is 64 bit)
Delete the Macromed folder.
Open your Registry Editor (Start>Run or press the Windows key + R and type 'regedit' [minus the quotes] and click OK)
In the Registry Editor, go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE
Delete the Macromedia folder (Right click and choose "Delete").
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software and delete the Macromedia folder there too.
Close the Registry Editor and empty your recycle bin.
Run the Flash Player installer, and then the Shockwave FULL installer.
Worst case: If that doesn't stop the crashes, try resetting Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems -
Flash player keeps crashing on Mac. Help?
Every time I try to watch a video, flash player crashes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and when that didn't work I did a full clean install. I also reset my web browser to see if that would help. I use Firefox, but I tried it on Safari and it doesn't work there, either, so it isn't unique to one browser. I'm not sure what else I can do to try to fix it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Download the following files by right clicking the links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as"(Firefox).
Flash Player Uninstaller
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer
Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLERS to remove all instances of Flash Player and Shockwave.
Run the Shockwave Installer first, then visit http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFull&P2_Plat form=Win32&P3_Browser_Version=MSIE with Internet Explorer, (there isn't a direct download link - sorry) and install the Shockwave FULL installer for IE.
Next, run the Flash Player ActiveX installer, and then the Flash Player (other browsers) Installer.
Lastly, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls. -
Flash player is crashing when leaving browser page
I have Firefox 26.0 and the newest version of Flash player as of 13/1-14
My issue is not happening all the time, but a LOT. Whenever I've watched a Youtube video and then wanting to go back(leaving the browser page) it freezes and crashes. I have the option to keep it running or shutting it off, which eventually helps. Disabling the Flash player helps, not keeping it running.
I don't care for whatever reason it's not working, but you either fix this or get me a new keyboard, because of the immense amounts of irritation this ridicolous issue causes.
I'm sorry the warning is in Danish, but it says that the Shockwave Flash Player is either occupied or crashed. I can either stop the plugin or let it keep trying(why is that even an option? It does not try anything at all.. Except from keeping the browser frozen for a few more centuries..)Download the following files (Right click and "Save Link as"):
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer
Reboot.
Run the Uninstallers from your Downloads folder, to remove BOTH Flash Player and Shockwave.
Go to: C/Windows/System32 and delete the Macromed folder.
Go to: C/Windows/SysWOW64 and delete the Macromed folder.
Open your Windows Registry Editor (Start>Run or press the Windows key+r. Tpye "regedit" [minus the quotes] and click OK.
In the Registry Editor, go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE and delete the Macromedia folder.
Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software and delete the Macromedia folder.
Close the Registry Editor and empty your Recycle bin.
Run the Shockwave FULL Installer first, and THEN the Flash Player Installer. These are offline installers and will require no connection during the process.
If problems persist, try disbaling other plugins and extensions for Firefox, to determine if one or more is conflicting with Flash and Shockwave. -

Flash Player 10 crashing. simple language please.
Hi I know you have answered this a million times but i dont understand all the tech language so here goes. my flash player 10 crashes when i play zynga games. I run a 32 bit, Internet Explorer 8 can u help?
Hi, you'll need to post back your operating system of Windows. Do you use any other browsers? If so which and what version?
Go to this test site and what version of Flash Player is indicated and can you see the animation?
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
What Anti-Virus program do you use and version if you have it. Does it have a Firewall and if not do you use any Firewall other than Windows Firewall?

Flash Player 10 crashing while streaming an MP3
I am currently building a streaming MP3 application, but have run into a problem. If I stream my MP3 using Flash Player 10.0.12 or older it works great. However, if I use Flash Player 10.0.22 or newer, Flash Player is crashing. It is happening primarily in IE, but I have had it crash in FireFox and Chrome as well. IE 6 is crashing almost instantly in my XP scenario. When I use Flash 10.0.12 the MP3 streams flawlessly in all of my test environments. Has anyone encountered similar problems while streaming an MP3 using the latest Flash player?
My test scenarios:
Vista Ultimate
IE7 / FireFox 3.5 / Chrome 3.0
Flash 10.0.32 (fail) / Flash 10.0.22 (fail) / Flash 10.0.12 (success) / 9.0.246 (success)
XP (32-bit)
IE 6 / FireFox 3.0 / Chome 3.0
Flash 10.0.32 (fail) / Flash 10.0.22 (fail) / Flash 10.0.12 (success) / 9.0.246 (success)
I am using the SWF Sound project in my solution: http://code.google.com/p/swfsound/
I have been able to capture several debug logs per Adobe's support instructions, but am still awaiting approval to submit them to the bug database. Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jeremy TolsdorfHi, The only general information that I could give you is to try turning off the hardware acceleration feature, which is turned on by default. You right click any video, Settings, Display Settings and UN check the H.A. It has also been recommended to update the graphic and video drivers to the latest versions. If that doesn't work, then there is some other conflict on the system. Anti-Virus and or add ons in the browsers(s) Now this is assuming that Flash Player is Installed correctly, along with the IE and non-IE browsers that Flash Player supports.
This site explains the hardware acceleration:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html
Hope this helps.

For some reason, starting today, every page I visit on Firefox (no matter what) comes up with a notification that the Adobe Flash Player plugin has crashed. It started when I was trying to attach a word document to an email to one of my professors on my Google-supported school email account. Every time I tried to attach the document, Flash Player crashed and it wouldn't upload. I finally had to send it using my Live email, which worked, but now Flash Player crashes on every webpage I visit in about 2 seconds. My Flash Player is up to date, as is my version of Firefox. What's going on here? (Note: None of the information of the "Adobe Flash Player has crashed" page was helpful at all.)
Yes, this has been a problem for a lot of people. ADOBE just released Flash Player 11.0.1.152, and that seems to have fixed the problem. It still am finding it a bit laggy to load Flash scripts, but it no longer displays the crashed window.
You can download the file from the official Flash website here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
