Non riesco a disinstallare il file swflash.ocx di Macromedia
Flash Player 5.0.42.0
Se vado ad eliminarlo si ricrea automaticamente.
Di conseguenza non mi installa la versione nuova di Flash
Player.
Come posso fare ?

Don't have an answer for you, but you can put tags around your code so it's more readable... just use left-bracket code right-bracket and left-bracket code slash right-bracket around your code like this:

I would like to down load and Save the latest flash player
file (9.0.47.0) to my computer. I DO NOT want to down load and
INSTALL the file while my computer is connected to the internet.
The only down load web page that I can access (

Yes, Flash Player files are otherwise known as swf files. Swf files can have actionscript code added to them to link to urls. IN AS2, the command to link to another web page is getURL().

I'm expecting same situation. I have four webservices running
at the same time. If concurrency for operation is set tu 'multiple'
I have OCX crash every 30 seconds. Also some webservices are
loading, some not (they are running, and running, and running...).
It looks like fault for WebService is not supported - in case
of that OCX will crash...

Using FF 3.6 and Windows Vista. Downloaded latest version of Adobe Flashplayer 10.1. Websites show a grey empty box, no content. When right clicking the Flashplayer menu pops up, proving it is a swf flashfile. Adobe Flashplayer not shown in Plugin menu, only Shockwave flashplayer.

I have recently installed firefox 4. it is wonderful. small problem is i cant get to use real player to download flash player files (like u tube for example) although the plug inn in the real player setting supports firefox. thanks

Flash Player X installed but not working (6MB file instead of 15MB)

I installed version 11 Active X 11.5.502.135 BUT it is only 6MB file and should be 15MB so it does not play videos. It did not hang up during installation (download timeout) but went right ahead and installed but it cannot be the full deal. I have unistalled older versions and started fresh but no go. 1) In the list of programs in the control panel. The Flash Player file
is 6MB but in the Adobe site
download button it says the file size is 15MB.

.exe files are Windows executables. They do not work directly on any of the systems you have listed.
Will not work under Mac OS X.
Will not work under IOS.

Flash Player won't write .SOL file

Using a downloaded flash player application (game called
telescope from www.dyson.uk.com) on three different computers. All
computers running XP professions SP2 and logged in with
administrator permissions on all three. One computer (my home
desktop) creates the directories to save the current game status
but does not create and save the .sol file. The other two computers
save the file and keep the game status correctly. I've checked .sol
permissions in the registry and they are correct. I've tried
deleting and re downloading the application file. I've tried
transfering one of the .sol files from one of the working computers
and the bad computer finds it but still won't update it. I've tried
deleting the sub- directories from "documents and
settings/me/applicaton data/Macromedia/" as well as searching for
other instances of the .sol files but no luck. Why would the same
game work on two computers but not on the third one? Any responses,
inspired or otherwise, are most welcome.

Hi Andy, that is correct, they don't support PPC Macs anymore.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.
Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!
