Flash Player 7 for Windows Mobile crashes Pocket IE

I just downloaded and installed the latest Flash Player 7 for
Windows Mobile on my Windows Mobile 2003 SE device. As a result
Pocket Internet Explorer crashes whenever it tries to open a page
with Flash content - including the adobe.com website. Opera Mobile
seems not to recognize the player and simply ignores all Flash
content.
Is there any way to fix this and to get Flash support on
Windows Mobile 2003 SE ?

You will probably find that Adobe.com is using Flash 8 or 9
content, hence
the crash. Since most up-to-date web sites will be similar,
you may find
Flash 7 is largely unusable for web surfing.
Just speculating.
I don't know for certain.

  • Just Let Me Download the Adobe Flash Player Please for Windows 8

I have Windows 8 on my laptop and there is no adobe flash player on my computer.  I have Adobe Reader X instead and when I try to download from Adobe.com I keep getting information for checking for the flash player.  I know I don't have it on my system.  Why can't I just download the flash player? Please help me!

Flash Player is a built-in component of Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and higher.  Pixsta may be making an assumption that no longer holds true on Windows 8 or higher.  You'd need to consult with their technical support for a resolution, sorry.

  • Flash Player Beta for Windows 8? Is it not available?

Windows 8 automatically installs the latest Flash Player release version. A user can choose to install the latest debugger version in place of the release version. Is it possible for a user to install the latest beta version for Windows 8?

I just read your other comment ( http://forums.adobe.com/message/5053950#5053950 ) about installing the 11.5 plugin for Windows 8 for Firefox, Safari, etc. I did not know you could still install the plugin for the other browsers. I just installed Flash 11.6 Beta Plugin on Windows 8. Thanks.

    Hi,
same issue under windows 7 - 64bits, Firefox 5.0 version.
FP website says that this can be solved using the 32 bits version of Firefox.
    1) how do we know if we are using 32 or 64 bits version? (can't find this on the tool bar)
    2) how to move to a 32 bits version without upgrading to Firefox 9 (I have bit defender, and I read on Firefox website that they are not compatible)?
Thanks in advance for your feed back on this.

  • Where can I find direct downloads of Flash Player 11 for Windows?

I install flash player frequently and would like to have an offline installer like there was in the past, not this thing that downloads every time and deletes itself afterward. I subscribe to the Adobe mailing list and get notices whenever there's a new version so I can keep my repository up to date.

    Hi Mark,
before you can Install Flash Player 9 you have to uninstall all previous versions with the uninstall tool: How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control

  • How do i download and use adobe reader, flash player etc for windows 7 64 bit program. nothing works

I have tried almost everything and adobe stuff doesn't work with windows 7 64 bit program. SUGGESTIONS?

Hi, First, you must use the 32bit since Adobe Flash Player does not support the 64bit. Second you must be the Administrator in order to install the ActiveX Control and write to the Windows Registry which Flash Player does.
Read over this Adobe Uninstall info: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

  • Adobe flash player 10 for Windows Vista

I recently installed adobe flash player 10 to watch video's on YouTube but they won't play for more than five seconds without stalling, reloading and playing again for another five seconds.  I unistalled AFP 10 and reinstalled the program to the same result what do I do now.  ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you....

    try using this uninstaller.
if that doesn't work, maybe you should try a different browser.
    http://filehippo.com/download_firefox/
you'll get a 2nd flash install for this.
when you go to control panel>programs and features,
you'll see 2 separate entries for flash.
1 is for internet explorer, the other is for firefox.
maybe the 2nd flash will work.

  • Flash lite 2.1 player  for window mobile 6.0 or 6.1

Is the Flash Lite 2.1 player available for window mobile 6.0
or 6.1? If it is so, where can I download ?

    Hi Jerry,
There is a FL2.1 player for WM 5 devices
    available
here. Note this is for playing back SWF files outside of the
browser - it's not a browser plug-in for Pocket IE.
We have not tested this on any WM6 or 6.1 devices so it's not
possible for me to say if it will work or not.
