Flash Player accidentally deleted! Please Help! :

I currently have a Macbook (Mid 2008) on OS X 10.5.8 and I accidentally deleted my Adobe Flash Player. I tried checking in the plugins folder and it's just gone for good. I also tried re-downloading the flash player by going to the Adobe site, but the latest Flash Player version is 11 and it requires an OS X of 10.6 or later. Is there anyway to get my flash player back without having to buy Snow Leopard?

From here:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
You can select OS X 10.4 - 10.5 from the drop down and you will be able to download Flash Player 10.3

    Hello,
The log file indicates there are permissions issues on a couple of files and they are not being removed.  This is preventing the installation of the new version.  Please run the uninstaller, posted here Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, and post an updated FlashInstall.log file, and a screenshot of the files remaining in the /Macromed/Flash directory after running the uninstaller.  Please only run the uninstaller and do not attempt to re-install at this time.
    Thank you.

  • Dialog Box Appears Whenever Booting Flash Player 11.2; Please Help!

Whenever Flash Player 11.2 boots, a dialog box like the one below appears. • I got some serious problems installing flash player on windows, please help?

i got windows 7 but using a safari browser cause none of the other browsers work on my computer, and i have flash player 11 installed but thats just way to outdatet since most of the websites i use require a newer version. so i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this little problem of mine, i have tried all the things on adobes support site but nothing seems to help, please help me ?

    Suggest you do the following.
Download the uninstaller from here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550
Choose to Save and save it somewhere you can find it easily again. Do not choose Run.
Disable any AV shields like file scanners which kick into action as soon as you uninstall/install anything. If you're not sure how to do that, consult this list for instructions: Disable Antivirus
Run the uninstaller to remove Flash from your system. Be aware that it also uninstalls it from any other browsers you might be using such as Firefox, Opera etc., but not from Google Chrome.
Reboot, disable AV shields again and then go to the same site once more to download the installer: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550
When you see the prompt this time, choose Run to install immediately.
If you use Firefox, Opera or any other browser where Flash is a plugin, download the installer for those. Flash in Google Chrome is embedded and will auto-update, so no need to worry about that one.
N.B. If you use Windows Live Messenger or any app which uses Flash, disable it before you run both the uninstaller and the installer.

  • I can't install Flash Player 13. Please help ...

I notice this when I open some websites. The pages looks weird, looks like it won't load properly.
So, I tried to check whether I have the updated flash player or not. I do have the updated version (on Google Chrome browser)
However, it still the version 12 installed on my laptop.
I tried to re-install the version 13 again. But, the connection is lost. It's weird because my internet (WiFi) works fine.
I did restart my laptop and reinstall the version 13 again. It still do not want to connect.
Please help... Because Youtube starts to give me weird display (no play button, no full screen button...)
    Thank you in advance.

    Use the offline installers:
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

  • FLASH PLAYER MISSING PLUGIN PLEASE HELP!!

Since the Last Safari Update,I've been constantly getting a missing plugin message whenever FlashPlayer was required.
I have tried uninstaling/installing FlashPlayer from the adobe website. But still always asked to download the latest version. And later did disk permission repair/check, nothing worked. I even disabled som of the plugins i had read in the discussion that might cause some problems such as the java cocoa plugin, but flash player's plugin is still missing.
    PLEASE HELP!

Latest version of Flash is 10.3.181.26
It installs in Macintosh HD/Library/Internet plug-ins and is available to all browsers.
Make sure you're getting the right one; there is  one for Firefox, Safari and Opera and a seperate one for Chrome.
Best to install with all browsers closed (note - you have to open and authorise the installer - it doesn't install automatically on download).
If a browser's open, quit and reopen it to enable the plug-in.
Be wary of error messages claiming you don't have the right plug-in. Don't follow links from them, they're often used to redirect you to malware sites.
And ensure JavaScript is enabled when trying to view Flash; it won't work without it.

  • Flash player wont work please help

I have flash player installed and recently no videos, for example youtube, will work on ANY browser. I have tried troubleshooting and resetting browsers and nothing has worked, I cant watch any videos, please help!
It looks as if the videos keep restarting 2 or 3 times then crash altogether if that helps

This is super weird, particularly because the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer), NPAPI (for Firefox) and PPAPI (for Chrome) browsers are all pretty different.  This is definitely not the normal pattern.
Does *any* Flash content work?  Maybe something old like http://www.homestarrunner.com?  My guess is that it doesn't.
I definitely need some more clues:
    - Operating System and Version
    - Browsers and Versions
    - Any anti-virus/anti-malware/firewall/save-flash-video-to-disk kind of stuff installed?
    - Any JavaScript blockers or privacy plug-ins that might block JavaScript from executing?
My gut feel says reboot, Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, then download a fresh copy of Flash Player for Firefox and Internet Explorer by using each browser to go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer.
    Hopefully that helps.

  • Accidental deletion. please help.

today i decided to clean my keyboard and while in the midst of it i pressed some keys on accident and it deleted all my playlists. i dont really care about any other playlist except 25 most played. how do i get that back...? or is there no way....:/

Okay. Open iTunes, now either go to 'File> New Smart Playlist'. I think that's where it is.
If not, see the plus button in the bottom left corner? Hold shift and that becomes the 'New Smart Playlist' button. Click that.
Choose 'Most Frequently Played' in the Selected By window, and set the limit to 25. Name it 'Top 25 Most Played'. Click OK.
    That should do it.

If you are talking about Safari on the iPad, there is no version of Adobe Flash for iOS and there never has been. Clear Safari, close the app and reset the iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you are talking about Safari on your Mac, you are in the wrong forum. But I would still clear the cache, quit Safari and restart the Mac.

To ensure quick help, please provide the following information
    your operating system and version;
    your web browser and version;
    your Flash Player version;
an exact description of your problem; "can't download" or "doesn't work" won't give us enough info to identify the problem and solve it.

Hi, First of all, Adobe would not ask that. What site are you using to try to Install Flash Player? Only use Adobe sites. Don' enter any information if you get that pop up again. It is not from Adobe.
Do you use any other browser except IE8 that  you would want to Install Flash Player in?
I'll give you the links you need from Adobe.
Are you the Administrator and if so, you need to use that Account to Install Flash Player.
What Anti-Virus program do you have?
    Thanks,
