Flash Player ask me to install the last version many times
Why Flash Player ask me to install last version many times on IE 9, while last version (11.5.502.146) is already intalled on my Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) 64 bits. Even if I do it the message don't stop.
I'd like to see this occur if this is still happening. If you're up for it, send me an email ([email protected]) and we can setup a time to do a desktop sharing session.

After a tryout with AdBlock, the videos on Facebook, on BBC and on some others websites stopped working and there's always a message asking me to install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. Even though it's already installed the situation remains the same since the last month.
Can I fix that just doing the upgrade for the Yosemite?Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -

I'm trying to open a pdf attachment that apparently has flash content in it. When I go to the download page, it says I need to install the full version. We are set up to distribute within our company because part of our network is offline. I assumed what we were downloading is the full version. Is there something else I'm missing?

You purchased a boxed set, or a download? If it's a box set, look at the box for the license number. If a download, it will have been emailed to you.

I am writing from my computer at work. I have been working here since May and have been asked to install the full versions of CS6 MANY times now. I work for a few days and then the count down pops up saying my trial has ended. I am not working in a trial version - in fact I never was. The IT dept. here has un-installed and re-installed the CS6 complete versions onto my computer about 4 times now. We also "checked for updates". None of these things seem to be working. And then today to find out that no phone support to being offered to CS users any longer - only Cloud users - I am very disappointed. We have tried every single thing there possibility could be to fix this. I use Photoshop and Illustrator every day at work and I can not afford to be locked out of the programs because the trial has ended again and again and again. After installing the last version, itunes colapses; windows closes it
yesterday I have installed the last iTunes version and right after, it collapsed. windows closed it as it found a problem.
I uninstalled and installed iTunes again but, the problem remains.For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

After a Mac update, flash player (along with silverlight) asked to be installed when I tried to watch video content or play games. I installed flash player and it reports being successful and appears in my applications. However, I cannot watch videos or play games, every time I am asked to install flash player again and again and again. I suspect this has something to do with plugins but I am not sure. I have un-installed the program and reinstalled but it still will not work. I check my security settings and it does allow plugins. I erased my temporary internet files. I don't know what else to do. Why does Flash Player prompt me to install an incompatible version on Mac?
Users of OS X 10.5 and 10.4 have noticed that with the release of Flash Player 11, the auto update mechanism will prompt them that an update is available. While this is typically normal behavior when an update occurs, in this case Flash Player 11 does not support 10.4 and 10.5. So, why is the updater telling them to update?
Unfortunately, our current auto update mechanism isn't able to determine if a new update is compatible with the current OS version. We are aware that this isn't optimal, but we did add in logic to help minimize the noise. Here's what will happen.
A user of an unsupported OS will get a notification that a new update is available
They'll download the update and attempt to install
The installer will notice that the OS is not supported and will:
Alert the user with an error telling them that the OS is unsupported
Set a flag telling the update mechanism to stop checking for future updates
So while you'll get one update notification, once the installer tells the auto update mechanism to stop you shouldn't see any more.Can you post a screenshot of such an update notice?

Firefox keeps asking me to update to version 4. When the installing process begins, Firefox starts flashing, my MacBook does not respond, the coursor does not respond. I have to shut down completely.
I assume you don't have a backup on an external HD. You always should, because then you could easily fix your problem.

Install window pops up ever time I open the browser.
This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64 bit version of iTunes.
That usually indicates that your Apple Mobile Device Support has not installed. That's also what is being shown by the diagnostics (the driver is there but the application isn't).
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you?
