Flash Player errors on all browsers

Hi,
I've been getting various errors when trying to use flash player.
What I'm using:
Windows 8.1 (fresh install as of 8/4/14)
Toshiba Satellite 15634 TouchScreen Laptop
IE 11 -- newest
Firefox -- newest
Chrome -- newest
Opera -- newest
Flash Player -- newest
What I can do:
Use Flash Player for most applications. Youtube, facebook, Netflix and other video players are fine.
What I can't do:
Access certain video players. That is HBO Go, Google Play, etc. This is on every browser I have installed -- IE, Firefox, and Chrome/Opera -- but I get different errors depending on the player I'm trying to use and the browser I'm accessing it through.
Errors:
HBO Go -- HBO GO cannot play this show at this time. Please try again later. [Code D-1007]
HBO Go w/ Chrome -- This video cannot be played with the current settings of your Chrome browser.  To play this video, you need to update your Chrome settings as shown here: http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-access/kb/error-3321.html [Code D-1001]
Followed those instructions, still get the error.
Google Play -- There is a problem with your Flash player. Click here, select "Reset License Files", and restart your browser.
Followed those instructions, still get the error.
Google Play w/ Chrome -- This is the weird one. When I first tried it, it popped with a generic error saying the 'video cannot be played at this time, please try again later.' I spoke with Google Customer Support and after a lot of wrangling and generally not understanding what the problem was, he gives me a link to youtube where I can watch my Google Play purchases. For every other browser I got the same errors as usual, but it miraculously worked on Chrome. AFTER watching that video from the youtube page, I can now access it just fine from the Google Play site, albeit in Chrome only.
Any ideas what's going on?

Sweet, that's great to hear.
I googled for that error message, and what I gleaned based on reading a bunch of the threads was that it wasn't directly related to the DRM vouchers, but to a Local Shared Object (aka Flash Cookie) that was probably maintaining your login session.  My guess is that the content providers had to restart their Flash Media Servers, and the LSOs associated with the content provider then referred to a session that no longer existed or something.  Blowing away the LSOs seems to fix it.  Given that blowing away the LSOs does resolve this problem, logging out of the content provider's service completely and then logging back in would probably get you a new session token, which would most likely also resolve instances of this error message.

Hi, thanks. I think we need to take a look at the Flash files.
Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash  Open Flash and post back all files listed. You will need to right click on the NPSWF files and then click on Properties to obtain the version numbers.

  • Flash player crashing in all browsers for live video

The Flash video player is crashing all browsers when I try to watch live video (specifically, live feeds out of Egypt, notably Al Jazeera's live feed).
I'm on a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6.6, using Safari, Firefox and Chrome browsers. In Chrome, I can hear audio for about 60 seconds - no video - and then it crashes. Safari & Firefox crash almost immediately. They all give me various messages about Flash crashing the browser.
I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player, then re-installed it, rebooted my laptop, etc. I checked all the player settings, and they're apparently set as they should be.
    Any ideas?

The same thing is happening to me in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. I cleared my cache, deleted my flash cookies, and reinstalled Flash. None of those worked to bring it back. It was working on a PC running XP yesterday.

  • Adobe Flash Player crashes in all browsers

    Hi,
I have had issues with playing videos before. They would constantly freeze (while the sound continued), it was like I was watching stop motion videos all the time. This was a recent problem that started happening within the last month or so. I got really fed up with it so I looked for a fix for it on google. The result of that search was: I was told the videos might be freezing so often because of the fact that I had two adobe flash players in operation on google chrome. I was told I had to try turning one off in order to get the player to work properly. I turned off one then the other and then both to no avail.
    BUT
then the flash player refused to work on ANY video. I figured it might just be Chrome but it happened in Firefox too. (I'm afraid to update internet explorer because I don't want it to not work there). I keep getting the "shockwave player crashed" error message in Chrome and the equivalent in Firefox. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling adobe but that did nothing.
My operating system is Windows Vista 32bit, I used both Firefox and Chrome web browsers both with the latest versions, I have the latest version of the adobe flash player.
At this point in time I can't get any site that runs on Adobe flash player to work and no videos that run on adobe flash player work. My problem is officially a whole lot worse.
    HELP!!!!!!!!

I'm having the exact same problem.
Until today, I haven't had any problems with flash, and then, this morning, I turned on my computer, went to youtube.com and the page almost immediately froze.  A message popped up saying that flash had become unresponsive and asked if I wanted to close it.
It does this on any website that tries to load flash content.  I've tried both Chrome and IE.  I'm running Win7 Home Premium 64-bit on a Compaq Presario CQ5300Y PC.
Everything is completely up to date.
    UPDATE:
Last night I ran a virus scan.  3 viruses were found so I quarantined them.  I turned off my computer for a couple of minutes and when I turned it back on, everything had been fixed.  Not only is flash working again, a problem I was having with Skype is also fixed.  So if anyone else is having this problem you might want to do a virus scan.

  • Mac OS X - Flash Player crashes in all browsers for site (bug?)

    Hello,
I just received a complaint by one of my clients that customers were no longer able to visit his site (using a Mac), as the flash player was crashing everytime the site was loaded, no matter what browser was used. I started investigating this using the latest flash-player installed (v11.1.102.64) and it seems that their is a new restriction present, a flash-movie can not be higher then +/- 4090pixels (I've been testing this while updating the code) on a Mac. When I visit the same site on Windows (flash player v11.1.102.64) it never crashes and shows the full height of the site 5276px, no matter what browser I use.
I believe this must be some bug, as the browsers I tested are the same and I can't remember havind this problem with previous versions of flash (as I would have noticed this). Could someone confirm me if this could be a bug, and it should actually be submitted somehow? Or am I overlooking something?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I'd like to investigate this for you.  Do you have a URL I can try this out on?
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Flash Player Crashing in ALL Browsers

Flash plugin crashing on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. This has been happening for months now. It's been fixed a few times, but it keeps happening again. Unable to watch YouTube videos on all broswers.
I have a PC (laptop) with Windows 7 (64-bit, I think). On Chrome I have version 10,2,154,18 installed. On Firefox: version 10,2,152,32 installed. On Internet Explorer: version 10,2,152,32 installed.
I work from home, so it's imperative that I not have this problem. Especially since it often interferes with Google Talk/Gmail Chat.
    Thank you!

Hi, Since it's happening on all browsers, then there must be a common conflict. Have you tried turning off the hardware acceleration?  go to this site: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. Right click on the Flash logo, Settings,
then UNcheck the hardware acceleration in Display Settings.
If that doesn't solve it, you may need to update your video card driver also.
At that same site linked to above, can you see the Flash logo animation? With all browsers?
    Thanks,

  • Flash player crashing on all browsers

I have uninstalled and re installed flash player and this issue is still there. I can watch Youtube videos fine with no issue. But when I try to stream a movie or tv show from another site outside of youtube, it plays the video for a couple minutes and then crashes. Has been happening for a while now and can't find any way to fix it. If someone can help with a solution, thank you.

  • Suppress Flash Player Error Messages from Browser?

I'm well aware of try catch functions, but in general is
there a simple setting to suppress browsers from displaying
    stackTraces on errors?

I have searched through every book, forum, and found nothing
on suppressing Flash Player error messages from the browser. If
it's really not possible, this is terrible news. It's nice to think

  • Installed flash player 12.  All sites report "flash player required, get flash player".

Flash player 11 worked fine - - no problems.  Installed Flash player 12; now all sites report that I have no flash player.  Flash object add-on is enabled for all web sites.   What's going on?

    See: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ieinternals/archive/2013/09/21/internet-explorer-11-user-agent-str ing-ua-string-sniffing-compatibility-with-gecko-webkit.aspx
MS really did a number on IE 11. They intentionally screwed up the User-Agent Strings so it's difficult if not impossible for websites to identify.
The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon. In fact, the loonballs in Redmond actually think this was a good idea.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
    Firefox (from Mozilla)
    Opera (from Opera)
    Safari (from Apple)
    Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

  • When will the Adobe flash player return to all Apple mobile devices?

I think that Apple should very well eliminate these restrictions by reintroducing the Adobe Flash Player back into all Apple mobile devices sometime this spring or summer.

    Yeah.
And everybody should be nice to each other beginning Wednesday.
And no more taxes beginning next year.

  • Adobe Flash keeps crashing on ALL browsers on MAC

Adobe Flash has been killing me the past couple months. First I used google chrome and sometimes I would get an adobe flash crash, but as time went my adobe flash kept on crashing in which would slow down my computer to such a level I couldn't type anything on my computer for a solid 15 seconds to wait for my computer to respond, It was eating out my memory. I followed this by making sure there wasn't 2 flash players playing together in chrome, I looked up about:plugins on chrome to make sure. Everything was normal, and I still received crashes making my browsing experience terrible.
So I decide to use Firefox after hearing about how unstable chrome is, and I still receive the same flash player errors every time I use firefox.
    Help.

  • Flash Player error messages from browser?

    Hello.
So a client I'm building assorted things for gets these annoying error dialog boxes popping up in web pages that I never see myself. But they are akin to those I would see if I were running a SWF locally from my hard drive in my Flash Player. I've tested for these errors repeatedly on different servers and different computers and am coming to the conclusion that there is something peculiar about the way their Flash Player in their browser(s) is configured. Have they somehow installed a debug mode of Flash Player? Have they turned on some annoying verbose mode? If so how do I tell them how to turn it off so that they can realize that the way things look in their office are not remotely representative of the way Flash is rendering things on 95% of the computers in the world (and 100% of the computers I have tested things on)?
    Thanks for your time.

Hi CH0606 & welcome to discussions...
I believe there is a Flash 10 beta that is available you may want to check on @ Adobe's site.
