no im not a web devoleper or anything like that but i do have to use the normal flash player for pages to load most about 50 percent of the web pages out there use flash
thats my quess i dont know actual numbers and some flash ads or games or just gifs thatare in lash make a webpage load really slowly i mean really slowly and some seem seem to go at about 4 fps
my idea (i dont know the proper place to give adobe my idea)
but my idea is for an option to right-click on a flash object and tell it not to load becasue of performance issues

The same thing happens to me, Safari asks me to update the Adobe FlasPlayer, I download, start the installation process, ask me my username and password in order to install, then see a window where I choose if I want to always install the updates , or ask first, or not inslate updates, and at this point it is not progress, I can not cancel the process, I turn off and turn on my machine.
What can I do ..??

I'm installing Flash Player on my Windows 7 64-bit OS using IE 8 32-bit. The installation terminates and the log file contains the following. That's a good question. I may have installed FP 10.1 Beta in many of the attempts to resolve the issue. I've scanned my registry for any reference to Flash and removed anything that remotely resembles Flash Player (of course backing up Registry first). I've run uninstall_flash_player.exe, which doesn't appear to do anything. I've checked logs and there's no reference to Flash Player being installed.
When I go to the link provided ( http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) I get the messageThe version of Adobe® Flash® Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer to obtain the latest, most secure version. and when I look at the log (install.log) I see an attempt to install Flash Player. Can't install Adobe Flash Player or latest update and need help to determine corrective action to take.

When I try to download latest version of Flash Player get a box showing downloads but there isn't anything in the box.

Well, that should mean that nothing is running in realtime and should not interfere as McAfee would. I think this version of Ad-Aware was an On-Demand, you ran it when you wanted to, it didn't run automatically, is that correct?
Was the HJT just on the Desktop?
When you left click on Ad-Aware what happens? We can remove it, but it isn't causing a problem now so we'll do that later.
Did you have any ad block? What about pop-up blocker software installed?
In your Manage Add ons, the All add ons, can you pull out all ActiveX Controls(list them?) If not don't worry about it.
When you first began having problems, did you try to Install an older version of Flash Player thinking that would work?
Are there any other Anti-Virus/Spyware that you had installed before that wasn't Uninstalled that may still be running in realtime?
I'm trying to determine what caused the ActiveX Control error.
Do you know how to find the Flash folder? If not, I do. Just tell me.

Adobe Flash Player slow, jerky, and I NEED HELP A.S.A.P.

Hello everybody, and how are you all doing on this wonderful Friday?
Today after doing research on the support website for Adobe ShockWave flash player, I'm here as a last resourt.
Allow me to explain the issue!
WARNING:
THIS IS GOING TO BE EXTREMELY LONG, BUT I NEED HELP VERY VERY BADLY!!
I've waisted people's time because of this issue.
I'm using an HP Windows 7 Laptop with latest version of Windows 7!
I have Adobe ShockWave 11.7 the LATEST VERSION and It is a great program.
However in one of my simulators which is a V500 Evita Ventilator simulator from the company Drager, the performance is HORRID, and when I say horrid, I mean HORRID TIMES 30 and then some.
Keep in mind that this has been tested by the company on other computers, and it works just fine, however on mine the waveforms and data is choppy, slow and what it will do is it will be working smoothly one second, the next second It lags and then catches up, then lags again, and It basically drags along miserably. I used this program online and then when I contacted Drager the owners of the simulator, they thought I get a DVD of the simulator. THEY GAVE IT TO ME FREE OF CHARGE. I got it, and It was still slow and Jerky. I had used Google Chrome to use the simulator online HOWEVER, when I used the DVD, It was still slow. I have a LOAD of computer space, and have tried uninstalling Adobe Shockwave, Reinstalling it, then doing that several times. NOTHING. NOW WHAT??
I'm desperate right now. When I say DESPERATE, THIS HAS GOT TO BE FIXED AS SOON AS POSSIBLY POSSIBLE.
ASAPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there some setting I can adjust?
Or SOMETHING???
The thing is other things that require Adobe Shockwave work just fine. I use a lot of simulators.
Its just this simulator.

Installed latest 11.2 Flash Player and drmtest says I need to update

I installed the latest version of Flash but I still cannot watch video on Amazon Instant. Contacted Amazon and uninstalled latest version and re-installed old version. Still didn't work. I updated Java. Still didn't work. I restarted the computer and it still doesn't work. I re-installed the latest version of Flash and it still doesn't work. I searched for "native cache" and finder doesnt' find any file by that name.   I went to the Adobe Flash Acess Sample Video Player and it says I need the latest version of Flash. But I HAVE the latest verson of Flash - so it's not Amazon or Mac its Adobe and this website is not very helpful so far.   Does anyone know why this product doesn't work? I've been troubleshooting and looking for help for 3 hours.

Because before i had 2 Adobe Flash Player (i use CCleaner for this), I got the Adobe Flash Player Plugin 64-bit
and another at name Adobe Flash Player 11 something. And before i did the same thing as i did now.
But it should probably be only the Plugin one.
Anyways. When i try to watch Youtube videos, it won't use Flash Player at all. And Firefox says
i have Flash Player, and its up to date and everything. But Youtube wont use it. Some do odd enough.
Vimeo use it tho.
And now i came across this thread, and i tried that Profile thing you told. And it does work with a new profile.
With the same Youtube video (copy link from old Profile). So i guess it's the profile that's broken.

After downloading adobe flash player, twice, still says i need to update it

Flash player does not work i need help!!

flash player 10 says it downloads but it doesn't work youtube does but like myspace and facebook doesnt work it still says I need to install it so I tryed the other way with the zip file and the uninstall and change ActiveX thing and it still doesn't work

Hello, the first thing that I would do in this case is to make sure that you have Flash Player
version 10.0.32.18 installed. Go to www.adobe.com/software/flash/about. Adobe will tell
you if this is installed, the version number and if the install was successful.
Now, the next thing to do is go to Tool>manage add ons, find Shockwave Flash Object,
click on it, look down at the bottom right side and click on Update Active X. When that
is finished, then you will need to restart Windows.
Now go to the sites that you were having problems with and see if they now work.
Please post back one way or the other.

Download and installation are two separate steps. The Adobe Flash '''installation''' procedure requires that Firefox be closed before installing Flash.

I came to this forum while i was searching a thread on the net that could help me with my problem.
I use Windows Vista 32Bit Home Premium SP2, Avast Home edition V 5.1.889. Usually my browser is IE.
While i used the IE 8, my flashplayer always worked good. It is activated on my supplements of IE (on internet properties).
About 2 weeks ago, it left to work (is not fixing the installation). It is installed. It is on my program files, is the last version from Adobe site V 10.2.159. Now i upgraded my IE to the IE9. Whenever I need to use the flash player, (facebook,youtube, and other sites with flash applications) i have to install it always ,again and again..While i am with my computer on it work perfectly, but when i restart or shut down my computer all were gone..(the installation dont be fixed). And i have to install it again. I tried others browsers to check if was IE9 bug but it's not...I went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES, the Key i have is {D27CDB70-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000} Compatibility Flags REG_DWORD 0x00010000 (65536). How can i fix the update to the Flash player, bcz i am dowloading and installing many times by day.

Hi, Your Flash files are all correct for IE. I'm sure they are also for FF, since Flash Player is working.
What you can try is something that has helped other users and maybe this will help you with IE. Try turning off the User Account Control and then Restart your computer and see if IE is working now.
Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking User Accounts and Family Safety.
and then clicking User Accounts. Click Turn User Account Control on or off.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Select the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box to turn on UAC, or clear the check box to turn
off UAC, then click OK.
Let me know whenever you can, no hurry.
