Flash Player for IE7 and Vista

TRY THIS
it may solve the problem. I have just upgraded to vista and
when I tried to install flash player nothing happend, then
I went to vista's discussion forum and found this.
"go to
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
and then click on Download the Windows Flash Player 9 ActiveX
control
content debugger (for IE) (EXE, 1.18 MB)
It worked for me !

Thank you for posting this. I have tried everything else here
and to absolutely no avail. Doing this stopped the annoying
security pop-up telling me to run Microsoft Add-On for the Flash
Player on every single flash site..... this gets unbelievably
annoying as a flash developer with over 20 different clients and
having to check content on their sites.

  • Why can't I get Adobe Flash player for iPhone, and if not, what else can I

Help! I want to view videos and can't do it. No flash player available. Why not?!!
    Please help.

There is no flash player for the iphone and Adobe would be the one to develop one, not Apple. And there are no plugins to install instead, as far as I know.

  • Flash Player for Solaris - And J2SE 6.0 for Solaris

    Hello,
The current version of flash player for Solaris is 7.0.67.0. For Windows it is 9.0.45.0. What gives? Is Adobe just giving up on Solaris? Now, in Firefox and Mozilla for Solaris, imbedded videos on web pages such as www.nytimes.com will not display, apparently due to the ancient version of Flash for Solaris.
Also, does anyone know when and the new java runtime j2se 6.0 will be released as a patch for Solaris 10? The patches are 118666 and 118667.
    Thank you.....

From Adobe Lans web site above:
Adobe Labs is currently featuring prerelease versions of the Flash Player 9 Update software. This update includes enhancements and bug fixes for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux versions of Flash Player 9. Please see the release notes for more information regarding this prerelease technology. The prerelease program for Flash Player 9 for Solaris is closed at this time, and Solaris versions of Flash Player 9 will be available shortly from Adobe.com.

  • Install only 32bit version of AX Flash Player for IE8 and Windows 7 64bit

    Hi,
For several reasons I would like to install only the 32bit version of Flash Player AX for IE 8 and Windows 7 64bit.
It was possible to do it when the installers where separated but I see no information how to do that now.
It is very convenient for me to have my 64 bit IE 8 browser without Flash that I use to browse and not get annoyed by the flash on the web and use the 32bit IE 8 on youtube, vimeo, etc when flash is necessary.
I hope the option to choose which version to install will get back if it is not possible now.
Please let me know if such kind of request should be made somewhere else as new feature or whatever.
    Thank you.

That was the first thing I tried. It either works on both or disables on both versions. Something is messed with the settings as well, or has been made that way on purpose. Also the next thing I tried was to uninstall only the part residing in System 32 (leaving the one in SysWOW64) but the result was both not working after the uninstall. It remained in Programs but wasn't working anymore in both versions of IE 8. So I just put back the latest 32bit version which is not security wise..

  • Flash Player for Leopard and QuickCam Pro 9000

I am trying to use a LogiTech QuickCam Pro 9000 with a chat
room that uses Adobe Flash Player, and I am running Leopard on my
MacBook Pro. The Pro 9000 camera has much nicer quality than the
Built-in iSight, and I can use it on a non-iSight equipped
    PowerBook as well.
Is there anyway to make this work?
Does Adobe have plans to add Flash Player support for the
Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 for Mac?

  • Flash Player for Admin and no others on XP

I've recently uninstalled and reinstalled latest version of
Flash Player. Everything works fine for me (the PC's
Administrator), but none of the other users on the machine. I have
XP Media Center version. Any ideas what I need to do?

There is no news; Apple still won't allow it.

  • I need a working flash player for iPad and iPhone.!

Many websites need a flash player to run their content, from my point of view after buying those devices (iPhone and an iPad) I think that Apple did make a mistake by not cooperating with adobe to make the devices run flash!
Not all websites are adopting HTML5 I won’t why should I pay more to change how something works if it is already running fine.!
If it wasn't for all the propaganda and me trying to change from windows I would never buy an iPad simply because it is expensive and doesn't do the job.!

IOS device do not support Flash
However Skyfire, Photon, iSwifter and Puffin Web Browser will provide limited Flash capability

  • Cant install flash player for firefox and steam

    hi
as i stated in the topic i cant seem to install flashplayer for those 2.
just to give you all a general information i have a core i5 760 cpu on asus p7p55d-e pro motherboard with 4gb of memory and gtx 480 as my system. when i used internet explorer flash was working properly it also works properly in google chrome but it doesnt play movies in steam client leaving a message in the middle that i need the latest version and i cant seem to install firefox plugin anyway too it redirects me to do it manualy and thats where problems start.
when i go to flash website from ie or chrome it shows i have the latest version available installed but it doestn work with steam and firefox.
what i noticed is when i download the latest version of flashplayer installer for windows 7 64bit either for ie or for other browsers and try to install it including running it as administrator the installer doesnt do anything that leads to install . what i have noticed is after i confirm in windows that i want to install it i get this little circle as my cursor for about 1 min randomly showing up and turning into normal pointer on top of that when i turned on task manager to see why is that happening i noticed that flash installer starts in services  tab one two or even three times at a time and closes itself to do it again one or 2 and one again. also noticed it showes few coppies of flash installer that appear in that time in my temp directory on disc C with weird names like quote:
    "install_flashplayer11x64ax_aih_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_ 1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_ 1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1"
all in all im not so much bothered about firefox as i dont use it anymore but i wish i could install flash for steam
does anyone knows solution to my little problem ?
p.s i tried ussing that flash installer in windows safe mode with no positive result.

  • Flash Player on IE and Vista SP2 won't run

I have two laptops in front of me, one running Vista SP2 IE8, the other XP SP2 IE8.  The Vista machine would not accept FP10 update, so updated all MS products, uninstalled current version of FP, which wouldn't run, then attempted download.  No response from Adobe FP site after clicking "Agree and install now" button.  To test site, updated the XP laptop.  The Install Adobe FP page was different for each laptop, with the XP site including option to load Google bar.  Downloaded and upgraded XP, no problem.  With the Vista system, checked the Macromd folder in System32 and is completely empty.  No other folders.  Need FP on the Vista laptop.  Recommendations?

Try the offline ActiveX installer for Internet Explorer:
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

From reading through the various links, it looks as if this thing could go into alpha stage sometime soon. Cool.

    It's Android®...
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both availabe in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

  • Flash player for tab samsung galaxy 3

I have tab samsung galaxy 3 with android 4.2.2, internet explorer and google chrome. I installed the latest archived version for android 4. Installation successfull but still not working. What shall i do? Thanks a lot.

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. The version of Android you have is no longer comaptible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. • Flash player for android tablet

downloaded archived version of flash player onto android tablet but only get settings not actual app

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Archived versions WON'T run on anything newer than 4.0, as well, and even then you'd have to "sideload" it and make several changes to get it to work, and you'd run into numerous pages and sites that will tell you you need to update to the latest Player. Honestly? it's a waste of time. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store.
