Anyone have flash player for pocket pc windows mobile 2005.
The one available cannot play youtube material. youtube
material can only play with flash player 9 and this company only
offers flash 7 for mobile...
WHen will it be developed? Any available

You should ask this question in the Flash devices forum. you
might get a better response.
There's a beta FlashLite 2 player for WM5 on the Labs
site...don't think that will allow you to play YouTube vids, but
that seems to be the direction Adobe is going in for this market.

Mobile 5.0?
A search of the site seems to pick up nothing, nada on the
upgrading of Flash 7 for Pocket PC.
As a result of this jetlag, it has broken the previous
capabilities of streaming a number of radio stations on
a phone enabled pocket pc such as the HTC PPC6700 (PPC-6700)
which is a Sprint and a Verizon phone.
The CBS stations, such as WCBS 880 AM and WFAN 660 AM from
New York City are moving to flash player 8
compatible streaming.
Without a Flash Player 8 or 9 for Pocket PC, the technology
prevents a listener from hearing these stations.
It appears that with the hefty endorsement of John C. Dvorak,
apparently suggesting that flash is the way to
stream, that this may end up becoming a defacto standard for
radio streaming. If that is so, then the Pocket PC
component of this formula seems to be an important one.
Since it appears to be next to impossible to get in touch
with someone from the labs via email or telephone,
I thought this issue should be brought out in the forums to
discuss and receive an answer from the labs as
to where this product development stands.
The 2.1 Player is already behind the times, only being
compatible with Flash 7...
If you have a beta ready to go, I'd sure like to participate
in the program as well. Please advise.

Don't hold your breath on it.
Flash Lite 2.1 is the latest release (just a couple of weeks
ago) for mobile equipment.
Complain to the service streaming audio... there's no reason
to make streamed audio Flash 8 or higher. Flash 7 is good
enough.

The best option would be to raise a OSS incident in the component: CA-VE-VEV or CA-VE-CAD so that my colleagues can actually investigate this further and release a bug patch if needed.

Is there any way to repair (re-install) the internal flash player for IE10?

Hi eveyone,
In short;
been running Win 8 Pro 64-bit for a couple of days now. Decided it was time to try out some software so installed a trial of Fix It Utilities Professional (bad decision).
Installed it, played around for a bit and after a while I came up with the brilliant idea of running a registry clean/fix (insert facepalm) and some overall clean-up, just curious
to seel the results.
Being stupid and feeling lazy, cleaned everything and didn't create a backup. Everything seemed fine afterwards. Only the internal flash player for IE 10 dissapeared
from the Add-ons list, hence the plugin itself stopped working.I've tried everything I think I've tried all the help options I could find on the Adobe site, but nothing seems to work (un-install tool,
delete files and folders, IE's security settings back to default, checked ActiveX status and permissons, reset all data and settings for IE10 etc) Something must have been modified in the registry
but I'm just unable to locate the problem. I also installed the latest beta for Chrome and that's working like a charm, no problems at all and the performance is great.
So this is the error I receive:
I'm kinda stuck now; the installer won't let me installl it because IE has a built in plugin, but it's not working in IE. It's not even visible in the add-on menu.
I know it was a pretty stupid thing to do, but I still hope someone here knows what to do. I;m kinda running out of ideas/options (not going to edit the registry myself, because you can

the last thing I can think of is that OpenOffice and Windows Live Messenger also use flash, if i'm correct. E.g. in the OpenOffice folder there is a flash.dll file. Could these files be of real
influence?

I do not have Windows 8 / IE10, so I don't know anything about it.
You may have to wait until US daytime; maybe someone from the Adobe staff knows the answer. But you may be better off asking in a IE10 forum.

Flash Player for Firefox on Win 8 / 64 bit

I'm trying to install Flash Player for Firefox on a Windows 8, 64 bit system, but have been having no end of grief.
I've finally traced the problem back to the origin, and it's happening because when I enter the info on the download page, it serves up the installer for the 32 bit version instead.
It does in fact verify on the page that I'm requesting and downloading the 64 bit version, but what I receive and then install is 32 bit. And consequently, I can't get Flash Player to work in Firefox.
Is there any way at all I can access the real 64 bit Flash Player for Firefox / Windows 8?

There is no separate 32-bit and 64-bit installer; on a 64-bit system the installer will automatically install both 32-bit and 64-bit players.

For Internet Explorer, you don't. Microsoft has already done it.
For Firefox, Opera or Safari, use the Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
For Chrome, you don't need to wither because Google puts it in the browser.

This installer you don't need to uncompress it first. If you find anything out please share. I have flash projects (SWF) files created in Captivate 5 that play fine in Flash and Dreamweaver, but freeze up on the web in safari, firefox, opera and chrome. Even files that used to play just fine. This upgrade has been a nightmare - I have spent hours troubleshooting to no avail. It does not seem to be a problem for windows users - only macs.

I feel like something is missing in the Flash Player Archive page. Yesterday, I read that the new Flash Player version for Android 2.x/3.x is now version 11.1.111.73, and that the new Flash Player version for Android 4.x is now 11.1.115.81, but instead, all I see are previous versions of Flash Player for Android 4.x, 3.x, and 2.x! Why can't I find Adobe Flash Player for Linux/Firefox 4

I can't figure out how to get Adobe Flash or Shockwave player for Firefox 4. Running Ubuntu 10.04 and when I try to find them in add-ins for FF4 there seems to be nothing. I am not the world's most experienced Linux guy but since Flash and Shockwave are so common it seems curious that they don't have them as add-ins for FF4. Maybe I'm just so far off track on this one it may be the dumbest question anyone has ever asked. But what the heck, you never know the answer if you don't ask the question.

There is no flash player for the iphone and Adobe would be the one to develop one, not Apple. And there are no plugins to install instead, as far as I know.
