Flash Player freezes on 2nd monitor while playing fullscreen game on 1st one

Flash Player freezes (shows something like slideshow with frame rate near 1-2 per sec, everything is ok with sound) on 2nd monitor while playing fullscreen game on 1st one.
Windows 8, flash player 12, chrome.
Tried to use other versions of flashplaers, other browsers - didnt help me.
SOLVED: my computer for some reason didnt want to download updates. that was the reason of this problem.

Ok, Have just finished re-starting comp and have installed 10.3 & much to my suprise the games on Kongregat and Facebook are working. Have also, just to be safe checked the Firefox plug-in to make sure it was running the correct plug-in

Crashing Flash Player Installer, and Frequent crashes while playing

When one is asked to upgrade, one is sent to a link where one downloads a file, which one is then supposed to run.
Only problem is that it invariably crashes.
Now, in trying to fix the problem, I'm offered a course on troubleshooting why the problem is. This means Adobe isn't performing its job of QC, and fixing problems, and passing the problem onto me for telling them what is wrong.
If they don't have enough testers, they need to hire people.
This problem of crashing installer, or frequent crashes while playing is a serious dereliction of service responsibility.
Just provide a link that works, and a something that installs without hassles. This has been going for years... I'm tired that it hasn't been fixed after all this time. That's one reason I don't watch much stuff that uses Flash Player.

I'm having the very same problem with my MBP6,2. I had nothing of this kind during the last half a year, neither with 10.6.4 or 10.6.5, but right the very next day I've updated to 10.6.6 these weird freezes started happening. It doesn't depend on if I am running WoW or not - twice it froze right after the login screen, once during login, once it froze even in safe boot mode! Anyways, right after update to 10.6.6 it froze 13 times during first 6 hours...
I've tried rolling back to backups from 10.6.5, 10.6.4 - still the same problem, which makes me think it's only a mere coincidence that it started with 10.6.6..

Is there any timeline soon that apple users will be able to open things that need adobe flash player? I can not even play any games on Facebook, I can't open certain files, pictures sent to me or things like forms I news to see when I am not home

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Thank you hopefully can give me some info about the status with this or if there wen is one. I would have thought that being a company such as you are that it would already be taking care of right from the beginning and not wait years to take care of somewhat that is very important ro have especially when there is so much our there using Adobe Flash now. I am not sure if this is just a blog with customers or if the company actually sees these posts but I am just hoping company or not that someone knows something about this. Satellite L500-13v freeze and make sound while playing online game

I have just purchased a toshiba Satellite L500-13v laptop to use for general and studying purposes and am having problems.
Firstly music, when listening to music i keep having problems, the laptop will maka a horrible noise that i can only compare to the sound made when you put a cd into your car stereo and it doesn't like it.
When making this sound the laptop also seems to pause for a sec or so then continue.
This has happened when playing from cds, the hardrive and streaming straight form the internet.
Also got progressivelly worse, never at the same moment on a song or game always randomly.
Went back to the store and they said it sounds faulty and replaced the machine . . . . . .
The new one has started doing it.
On a game played online (with sound) it seemed to freeze and make this sound and everything stopped and also when streaming again.
This is a 4gb machine and at these times i would never be using more than 1.5 gb of ram.
This is meant to be everything i need computer wise for the next four and i am getting more and more concerned there is a problem.
I was told at the store this i a very new model, could this be one of those problems you only find once a model goes out??

Does this mean that the notebook freezes ONLY running this online game?
Hmm did you try to update the graphic card driver?
In my experience many games (online) would affect the notebooks functionality if the graphic card driver is not fully compatible or too old

Flash Player having problems while playing online games on OS X Mavericks

i use mbp mid 2010 with os x mavericks 10.9.2 and while playing online games, it usually happens some freezes and delays. when i play same game with same browser on windows 7(bootcamp) there is no freeze and delay. i have made lots of search about this and made some optimizations on flash player settings but the problem continues. i use both chrome and firefox on both mavericks and win7 (bootcamp) but having the same problems on mavericks every time. the game is very slow with freeze and delays on mavericks. will adobe make a real effective upgrade about flash player for macs.

Hmmm... Win 7 will run faster than Mavericks with 8Gb. Even my Vm of 7 runs faster once I get it past all the startup processes.
It may or may not be a connectivity problen since Windows uses a different protocol, even though it's on the same hardware. Usually though, what affects OS X will affect BootCamp too.

Adobe Flash Player freezes after playing for a few seconds.
It does this in both Mozilla Firefox and in Google Chrome.
It does this regardless of how much of the file has been buffered
(it's not just pausing and waiting for buffer)
I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed.
I have the latest version of Mozilla Firefox installed.
I have the latest version of Google Chrome installed.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player.
I've tried disabling hardware accelleration.
I've tried increasing the buffer size.
I've tried setting the buffer to 0
I've tried clearing the appdata cache

Could you give our 11.4 beta release a try to see if that resolves the playback problem? If it does not, please see this FAQ for other possible solutions. In particular, look towards the bottom for instructions on rolling back versions or disabling protected mode.
How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?

Flash player freeze a lot when playing Youtube videos fullscreen from Linux, but plays videos ok from Windows (CPU: AMD APU).
When playing video in default size it's OK (windows and Linux), but when setting video in full screen, on Linux there's troubles: video is hashed (freeze every 3 seconds).
CPU : AMD APU Athlon 5350.
OS : Linux Mint 17 (64 bits).
Browser: Firefox v31 (on Linux and Windows 7).
Linux AMD video driver : Catalyst v14.4 (amd-catalyst-14-4-rev2-linux-x86-x86-64-may6.zip)
Linux Flash polayer version: 11,2,202,400 (deteced from https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ )

Hi s, well congrats on getting your brother's computer up and running. On your system, you have all correct Flash Player
files for IE and FF, as well as the SWO and SWF.
Since the Install of Flash Player, have you installed any programs that would have added any ActiveX Controls, or any other add ons or plug-ins?
Have you had an opportunity to see if your brother's computer has the issue you have when watching the same websites?
Are you using any ad-block in FF(Firefox) or any pop up blocker software installed? I can't imagine updating to FP version 10 alone would cause this.
Is this happening only on the BBC website? Does what you watch come thru the BBC website or youtube directly?
We have your brother's computer to use to determine what is going on. If he is able to see the BBC website and what you
are having problems with, then we can rule out the website.
Other browser add ons, anti-virus programs, etc. affect the browser. Even tho, no problem with vs 9. Sometimes updates
can have an affect, even with Windows as we all know:-)

Flash Player Freezes While Buffering Then Won't Proceed Even After Computer Restart

I am having frequent problems with Flash Player freezing while watching Korean dramas hosted online (http://www.mysoju.com/empress-chun-chu/). Flash Player freezes while viewing file and then won't proceed past that point even if I close all browser windows and even if I restart my computer. Sometimes I can get around this by saving the file to my hard drive using Real Player "download this video" button. However, the download often freezes at what appears to be the same point as the freeze in the streaming Flash Player. Even if I delete this partial file from my hard drive, repeated efforts to download the file again result in instantaneous file completed messages with a new incomplete (partial) file of exactly the same size as before. I can't find where Flash Player or MS Windows Vista is storing the partial download files. Any help would be greatly aprreciated.

Flash Player Freezing on PC

Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their
Flash Player freezing up since the upgrade? Anytime I try to go to
an online video, music video or show it bounces back and forth
between buffering and restarting the video even though it hasn't
played all of the way. I did not have this problem until I upgraded
to the current version for my PC. Any suggestions or patches that
anyone knows about? I have tried uninstalling, running the
uninstaller and reinstalling and nothing seems to help. Thanks in

Flash Player Freezing

Hi i hope someone out there has had this same issue and has a solution as i am out of ideas the problem i am experiencing is with ie8 and firefox versions of flash player everything has been working great for some time now until the last couple of days and I have not installed anything new or done any kind of updates, now when i go to any site that plays video using flash player on either browser it will play about 38 seconds of the video before acting like it is buffering then if i try to get the stream going again it tells me connection has been lost and it freezes up the browser if i try to rewind or fast forward past the spot it is hung at I have uninstalled adobe flash for ie and firefox and reinstalled and rebooted with the same issue occuring is this some sort of registry error or what i am using windows vista with all the latest updates as well i just cant figure out why it plays for 38 seconds then simply stops and freezes as it worked fine for a long time now this is a problem that happens periodically to me and so far the only fix i know of is to reinstall windows and the browsers and flash please give me some solutions that arent so extreme if any exist thanks alot.

Hi, I would never go anywhere other than an Adobe site for Flash Player or any other Adobe product for one thing. Just as I wouldn't go anywhere for a Windows update other than Microsoft.
Second I would not expect a beta to perform as an RC either. I let the Developers work out the issues that come with all
betas.
From what you posted, it sounds like you installed the beta again. Why didn't you just install the latest Flash Player version 10.0.45.2?
I wouldn't be troubleshooting a beta either, that is for others to do. All most users want is the Flash Player to work. I don't see any need for a "patch" for FP vs 10.0.45.2 and certainly wouldn't expect Adobe to "patch" the beta!! The Adobe Flash Player works just fine.
As far as you saying the other vs 10 beta worked just fine makes no sense any more than your grumbling does. Sorry, but
I get weary of people ranting against Adobe and Microsoft when many of their problems are their own systems.
That's my opinion, thot I'd share it, since you shared yours.

Flash Player freezes in Internet Explorer-

I received following support case from one of our clients but could not assist them. I appreciate any input and assistance to the issue below…
We have an application named “TADBEER” which depend on Adobe Flash Player and IE.
We tested the application with Internet Explorer 9 X64 and Adobe Flash Player 14 but application and Flash Player Freeze.
Would you please advise if there is a way to increase the memory available for Adobe Flash Player or to check the issue from Flash Player logs.

So after 4 grueling hours of troubleshooting and trying different fixes, we finally solved the issue. Turns out that we were testing an HD YouTube video just to make sure that Flash Player was functioning without any speakers or headphones plugged in. For some reason when there is no audio device plugged in, the YouTube video starts to play regularly and the reverts to HD. As soon as it changes to HD, it'll crash. Simple as that. So, lesson learned and some advice. Always plug in an audio device. At first when I figured this out, I felt stupid. I then realized that it shouldn't matter if speakers are plugged in or not. A YouTube video should play no matter what if Flash is installed. Anyway, this issue was resolved. Thanks for the input everyone.

That is totally possible if you do not have Flash set to
enable hardware accelerations. Right click on a playing
Flash video and select settings from the pop up.
Click the little monitor icon at the bottom left corner.
Check the check box "Enable hardware acceleration."
With out this set, the CPU does all the work of decoding the
video instead of the video card.
update:
As a quick check, went to Hulu and started an episode of
Warehouse 13. With hardware acceleration enabled, CPU
was at 37% for Flash. With hardware acceleration disabled,
this jumped up to 138%.
The test was done on a 2011 Mac Mini Server 2.0 GHz, quad core i7.
