Flash player games runs very slow on Windows XP SP3

Hi to all.
I have problems with flash games and some advanced flash applications.
Problems occurs regardless of browser.
My computer is next:
CPU: 2.8GHz hyper thread
RAM: 1.5 GB (3 pieces)
GPU: Nvidia 7600 GS Gigabyte.
When it runs some flash game e.g. Facebook Pet Society, CPU load goes high as 80 to 100 %. It is very annoying thing since I am starting to loose my mind how to solve this.
All other applications are running very good. This means games, 720p HD videos etc etc.
It is not virus problem, since I have installed new fresh system.
Thanks in advance.
I need your help with this very very much.

Please, move this topic to flash player subforum. I have placed it here by mistake.

  • Firefox 22 running very slow on windows 7 but no problem in linux. Help

Firefox 22 is running very slow ( rather stalling forever) on windows 7.
I tried resetting option from the "Troubleshooting information" menu and also tried disabling "Hardware acceleration" but still having the problem.
Takes almost a minute ( "New window not responding"..) just to try any option..like opening a new tab.
I have same version on linux mint and but FF runs smoothly.

Sorry, not an option. As I said, I have binned FF22 and gone back to 21 -- and it works just as fast as it always did, corrupt profile or no corrupt profile.

  • Game running very slow???

    Hi,
I bought LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean at the weekend.
The minimum system requirement are :
Mac OS X 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard).
    Intel Core Duo processor.
    1 GB RAM.
8 GB uncompressed hard drive space.
    My Mac is :
    Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion).
2.16 GHzIntel Core 2 Duo processor.
    4 GB RAM.
    700 GB hard drive space.
However, the game is running very slow. Characters move in slow motion and items I break are the same.
And it only seems to happen when the game is on a level that is out in the open air, for example, the blacksmiths and dungeon levels are fine but the beach the slowness starts, and on the main deck of the Pearl until I go below decks.
I've adjusted a few settings but it doesn't have an effect.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
    Cheers

You could try to contact iTS, let them know the stats are false on the MAS, and they may make an exception for a refund here.

  • Flash Movie Clip Run Very Slow

I have about 10 of "coconut tree" Movie Clips, 1 clouds movie
clip, 1sea movie clip. The problem is when i run all of the movie
clips together, the animation run very slow. Can anyone help me
    please................................................
    thanks

It's hard to tell without knowing what those movie clips
contain. If they contain raster images (bitmaps), have tons of
points, utilize a lot of alpha tweening, etc. it could be the
cause. How does it run with each movie clip running by itself? Are
coconut trees vector or raster? If vector, can you optimize the
shapes any to reduce the number of points?

  • Game runs very slow in Mac Compiler

    Hi
I have an issue with the compiler.
When I run in debug or play mode the game is incredibly slow and choppy.
However if I compile the game and run it in a browser it works just fine. It also works just fine if I use a windows machine in debug or play mode.
Do you have any idea why its slow in the Mac flash builder compiler but no where else (and of course how I can speed it up on my Mac)?
    Im using 4.7 and starling.

  • Flash Player 10.1 very slow

We are running several HP 8000 Elite with Intel G45/G43 Express chipset under Windows XP SP3. As soon as we upgrade Adobe Flash Player to version 10.1 videos are played very slowly. No matter if we use IE7 or IE8.
We are running the latest graphic and chipset drivers. BIOS was updated too. Flash hardware acceleration has been disabled without any change in behavior. Windows updates are up to date.
All older versions of Flash Player work fine.
Is this a known problem? Are there any solutions?
    Thanks for your response

    Thanks eidnolb,
that was the hint I was looking for.

    Hello all,

If anyone faced the same experience. Please give me your valuable feedback.

  • Why is iTunesU running very slow on Windows 7?

iTunesU is running very slowly on machines using Windows 7 and iTunes 10. It works fine on Windows XP withe iTunes 10. Why is it slow in iTunes 10 and Windows 7?

Yes. It does seem to be specific to 10.2.2  Other versions are working fine. In windows XP 10.2.2 has not given me any problems. But on Windows 7 it appears to be frozen for about 5 minutes then it starts working but it still lags. Are you Apple people going to address this? Is this something that can be fixed with another update?

  • After updating flash player, youtube loads very slow

Youtube videos load very slowly since I updated flash player.  Once they are loaded, they play ok, but I cannot skip ahead, etc.

    Andy..
Keep in mind, you can't "skip ahead" any farther then the video has buffered but try the following since it loads slow.
Uninstall your current copy of the Flash plugin then reinstall then restart your Mac  >  Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
And if you haven't done so, empty the Safari cache. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
You can also try resetting Safari. Back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari
Select the top 5 buttons, click Reset.
Quit then relaunch Safari... try a video.
And make sure your system software is up to date. Click your Apple menu > Software Update...

  • Illustrator CC running very slow on Windows 7 PC

    Hi there,
I'm running Windows 7 64bit with an Intel core i7 4790K with 8 GIG of high speed Dominator DDR3 RAM and I've got two GPUs (AMD R9 290 4GB) but since I've started working on this PC from home I've noticed how poor Illustrator runs. I bring in some texture layers from my stock files (which ive used for years) and illustrator just comes to a halt. It takes like 5 minutes to move a layer around.. yet my CPU usage doesn't hit over 10% and memory used is 4GB out of 8GB. I'm very confused with such a high spec PC, how illustrator is struggling to perform basic operations.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi fiegan,
Can you please tell us more about how are you installing it? Via Creative Cloud application or Illustrator separately ? What is your netwrok speed etc.
    Sanjay.

  • Why is Thunderbird running very slow on Windows 7 CAUSE: McAfee

Installed Thunderbird ver 31.6.0 on my desktop Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 32bit, 4G ram, Intel i5 2.66 GHz,
a few months ago and it ran great at first.
Now that I've used it awhile it has slowed down considerably.
All functions of Thunderbird are slow, clicking to highlight a group of messages, deleting even just a single message, opening a message, etc.
It has compacted the folders several times, and I do not have a large number of stored messages (maybe total of all folders including trash, spam, sent, etc is around 500).
I am running McAfee Anit-Virus which does scan email attachments.
Has there been reports of slow performance with Thunderbird on Win7?
Perhaps my problem is caused by McAfee?
    Thoughts, suggestions are welcomed,
    Thank you,
    Ken

My macbook pro is running very slow with some strange mouse and window movements. The trackpad is very unresponsive and when responding the cursor moves on its own and/or very erratically. When on safari the window suddenly zooms in or highlights words and looks them up via dictionary. I currently have a wireless mouse connected and I am still having the same problems.
I fee like I may have a virus or my laptop is perhaps being accessed remotely. All of the sharing options are unchecked.
    HELP PLEASE
    Very worried!!

Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
    1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
        b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).
    4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).

Since installing Parallels 7 and Windows 7 (to use Quicken), my imac and the virtual computer run very slow.  Is there a good fix?
