Flash player has ''noise'' in its sound when it plays a video
When Firefox starts and I go to youtube or any other website that needs flash player, the sound of the video is ok.
But after a while and after I have seen some videos for some time (pausing, repeating etc.) then when the flash player plays a video you can hear a ''noise'' I could say a white noise messing with the sound of the video.
If I restart Firefox then there is no noise again for some time.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

My iPhone 4S has no sound when I play music, videos and movies
My iPhone 4S has no sound when I play music, videos and movies
Is the slider all the way to the right??
And no, if your phone is vibrating when you get texts/calls then you're not in Do Not Disturb. You would see a Crescent Moon symbol to the left of Battery % if it was on. -
Since I updated the Adobe flash player I have had no sound when using firefox
Yesterday Adobe told me I needed to update my flash player, so I did and now today I have no sound at all. Itunes still works and so does the sound in Internet Explorer, but whenever I go on youtube, pandora, etc (in firefox) I can't hear anything. Troubleshooting says to go to the volume mixer and make sure the firefox volume is all the way up. I went to the mixer, couldn't find the volume for firefox, though I did make sure everything else was turned up and it still doesn't work.
Your above posted list of installed plugins doesn't show the Flash plugin for Firefox.<br />

Hi, before 3 months when I start to play any video or music to listen, I could not hear any sound. if I want to play video as handsfree mode it s not possible to hear any sound other problem is it s not turning off. When you want to turning off it s restarting...please help me.
Quicktime or Quicktime Pro (which iTunes uses) don't convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.
See:iPod plays video but not audio.
You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.
See this for help: Guide to converting video for iPod (Mac/Windows). -
I'm not getting any sound when i play a video; HP pavilion dv7 Windows 7
I'm not getting any audio when I try to play a video, such as youtube; I have an HP pavilion dv7....op sys is Windows 7; Funny thing is that when my brother signs in under his User ID, he gets audio, but I don't when I'm the user. I've checked all of the on/off audio mute buttons that I know of.
what can you suggest? Is it just sites like YouTube? Can you play music files-mp3/cd ,hear Windows system sounds, etc?

Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation - using Yahoo Mail
For months I have been getting this error message when using Yahoo mail. Going into the control panel and adding the domain doesn't fix the problem. In fact, Flash Player seems to just ignore any domains I add there (I often get multiple "potentially unsafe" messages as Yahoo loads). Some other web sites also cause this same problem-- for example, YouTube.
I am completely frustrated by this behavior. If there is an open source substitute for Flash Player, I'd be interested to know about it. I'm tired of all these error messages and I'm also tired of constantly having to update Flash Player, which seems to be happening on a weekly basis now. It seems to me that Flash Player has outlived its usefulness and should be done away with because it is way more trouble than it is worth. It is buggy software. The Flash Global Security Settings Panel
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm l
is NOT for remote sites, it's for Flash files on YOUR machine that are attempting to connect with Internet loacations.
Add YOUR FILE to the "edit locations" dialog box.
Or, test YOUR file by uploading to a Web server... this security warning will NOT kick in... it's only when testing a Flash file from your local machine that this happens.

logging onto frontierville on facebook i get a message that says "adobe flash player has crashed" so I downloaded the latest version & installed it & I still get the same message & i cant play my game - what to do?

http://apps.facebook.com/frontierville/?crt&aff=bookmarks&src=bookmark&newUser&sendkey&ref=bookmarksI have had the same problem with firefox on facebook. It has happened for the last couple weeks. I can receive gifts under requests and every game I try crashes. I can usually read my homepage. this is getting really bad. I have cleared caches, downloaded what I am told to download to update, and cleared history and cookies and still happens , and have been told to get rid of firefox. what is the problem? and when I sent reports , nothing. and sent emails to all the games and told them and asked for help and never get responses. should I through the computer out the window, or delete you? I know they keep changing things on the games and that usually crashes stuff on mine, but all the time? this sucks. and I probably won't get a response from you either, but if this continues I will have to say, bye bye. It's ridiculous..before the crashes, it would take me over 2 hours to do a game and work on it. there was life before this and will be afterwards. it also happens on my regular email..not the crashing, but so slow and the download goes up and goes way down to almost nothing and keeps doing that.please help us all..thanks.

Flash Player has stopped working...over and over again!
I get this message whenever I try and watch a video, same message for any page that uses flash, same message no matter which browser I'm using. This problem began with version 10, and I was using older versions of Flash Player until the other day when it would no longer work due to security issues--the message was that the older version of flash would no longer work...I needed to update the player. So, I did, and we're back to the same problem of Flash Player has stopped working message popping up over and over again. It doesn't seem to be the browsers since I get the same message in all of them. Possibly it is the hardware acceleration, but the two pathways to disabling hardware acceleration don't work. When I try to see the current version (so I can right click and get to settings), the version won't show. The other strategy, right cliking on the video, also won't work because the video won't show after Flash Player has stopped working. My graphics card is a Radeon x1950, and I'm running 32 bit Vista Home Premium. There is a ton of information on line about dealing with a balky flash player, but nothing that seems to address this problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. RAS
PS, sorry, I wasn't paying attention and first posted this in "installing flash player."
One more thing....when I go to Flash Player Find Version page, the video does not show up, nor does the version....two big blank spaces. But Flash Player is installed.I replied over on your other post.
What browser are you using that is giving you the blank spaces on the versions page? -
Adobe flash player has stopped a potentialy unsafe operation
I have just on Dreamweaver add a swf file to my web page and the two scripts files were added, expressinstall. swf and swfobject_ modified.js when I try to open the pages on a pc with xp I get a message (Adobe flash player has stopped a potentialy unsafe operation) The following local app C:\\site\the bead game\mysite\scripts\expressinstall.swf is trying to communicatewith this internet-enabled location fpdownload.macrmedia.com What do I do It plays in the properties panel but not in live view or on browser lab should I Allow this is this normal.
Yes the popup is a local security warning if you test a page containing a Flash <object> that is attempting to communicate with another Web site via the Internet.
You can change the security settings to allow that file to communicate with the Internet the next time you open it by adding the file location on your local machine to the security panel settings:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm l
Choose "Edit location", "Add location", browse your local machine for the file and confirm your choice. Then you should see that location listed under the "Always trust these files" dialog box.
But yes, this only happens when testing locally and does not come into play when testing from a remote server.

I get a message that says Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.
I use Articulate to create my player.html files. When I double click my player.html file I get a message that says Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation. Then it shows me the name of a swf file in my files that is trying to communicate with the player.html. Then is say s to let this application communicate with the internet , click settings but that doesnt seem to help. I've tried clicking on all the tabs that are under the settings window that opens up but the problem persists
This is from my Mac, but it's the SAME on Windows.
I'll post a windows screen shot as soon as I reboot my laptop. -

operation "
I got one cisco flash presentation i am not able to open the
file because of this error. It would be really helpfull for me if
you could guide how to solve this problem.Awaiting your reply.I
would appreciate your earleast reply
Regards
Lijesh.I'm getting the same problem. No explaination of why, and
downgrading all my security to DANGEROUSLY unsafe levels doesn't
help, nor does setting anything in the settings app. (Have you ever
used a slower application?)
I did find (using a Google search) a blog that pointed me to
the article located at this address:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=13530cdd
I don't know yet if it will help, but it appears to be on the
right track.
Good luck. -
Overiding "Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation"
Hello,
I have an application that is causing flash player to display
the ""Macromedia Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe
operation" warning message and I was wondering if there was a way
to override this w/ a publishing setting or an actionscript System
command.
It's rather crucial that I kill this error message for our
users.
Thanks for your help!
Clem CTabNavigator causes that dialog to crack. When I remove it, dialog doesn't open, add it back in, unsafe dialog pops.
I made it as simple as:
<mx:TabNavigator width="100%" height="100%" />
Removing that one line determines whether dialog opens or not.
Weird.
I created a simple SWF with a panel and tabnavigator on it and attempted to run it but no dialog opens so there is another variable somewhere causing this.
