Flash Player "Install Now" Button reverts to Adobe Home Page

Trying to install update to 11.9.900.152, but Flash Player "Install Now" Button sends me right back to Adobe Home Page.
Windows Vista 32-bit
Firefox 25.0 (cache cleared)

I have the exact same sort of stupid loop:
    https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
        Install Now
    http://www.adobe.com
on 2 different versions of MacOS X: 10.6.8, 10.8.3.
It looks like the Adobe web server is using an URL redirect which is much too acrobatic.

Every time I hit "Download Now" it redirects me to the home page of adobe. I know I have it uninstalled. I have restarted my laptop a few times.
Is there any direct download link? I'm getting super peeved.

Did you search the forum before posting? Here is a link to the Windows full installer

How do I install recommended updates, when I click on adobe flash plugin update now buttons, I hit a dead end on oracle's website, how do I complete the update?

First, grab the Adobe uninstaller from here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
Then download Flash 10.3.183.90 from here - about halfway down the page:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
    (Released 6/11/2013) Flash Player 10.3.183.90 (61.1 MB)
IMO, the best version of Flash for WinXP. Adobe kept up with security updates for 10.3 for WinXP users long after Flash 11.0 came out in 2011 for Vista and newer versions of Windows.
Run the uninstaller, then reboot your operating system.
Then you can run the Flash installer, with Firefox closed, of course.

If Flash Player is indeed the problem I would suggest using the Adobe Uninstaller.
Have you tried using a different browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari to see if they have a problem with Flash?

It is best to go to the source, Adobe, to get their software and updates. Sometimes malware can infect sites with messages that appear legitimate, but will, instead, install malware/virus/trojan on your system. Read the following carefully to install and/or update Adobe Flash.
There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash; an '''ActiveX version''' for IE only and a '''Plugin version''' for most other browsers including Firefox. On a Windows system, you should always update both individually. '''''You do not have Adobe Flash (aka "Shockwave Flash" in Add-ons > Plugins) installed.'''''
#'''Using Firefox''', go to the following direct download link and SAVE the download to your desktop so you can find it later: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
#When the download is finished, close Firefox (File > Exit '''''OR''''' Firefox button > Exit)
#Click or double-click on the file you just saved to your desktop
#*In the installation window that appears, click the box to the left of "I have read and...." to place a check mark in the box
#*The "Install" button in the lower right corner will now be highlighted, click it.
    #*The installation is quick.
#Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
#Direct link ActiveX version for IE '''''only''''': http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

  • The latest automatic update was accompanied by "You should update Adobe Flash Player right now". Having done this a few days ago a new Firefox update arrived with the same "request". Why and what do I need to do to stop this?

The latest automatic update (in March) was accompanied by "You should update Adobe Flash Player right now". Having done this a few days ago a new Firefox update arrived (today 7. March) with the same "request". Why does this happen and what can I do to stop it? Firefox 3.6.15 and Adobe flash player 10.1.82.76 are currently installed.

Shockwave Flash 10.1 r82 is not the latest version of Flash. '''r152''' is the latest.

  • Hello I have Adobe Flash Player installed but cannot enable it.

Hello I have Adobe Flash Player installed but cannot enable it.

NPAPI is installed on my Mac but I cannot enable it - is there a customer service number for Adobe I can call

  • How to keep Adobe Flash Player installed?

    Hi,
I'll try to get to the point right away hoping some of you can share my experience and  find a way out of this problem: My computer is a Windows 7, my browser Mozilla Firefox, I use Opera as well.
I used to have Adobe Flash Player installed on my Windows 7 for a long time, it worked well,  but it seems something has changed lately: I promise I do follow every single instruction given by Adobe, checking if my PC is right, if my anti-virus allows the installation etc... Every time my download works well, seems to be installed, but when I want to use it (I do need it desperately for my work, I work in arts), it seems to crash or simply doesn't exist anymore. I must install it again, sometimes 5 times a day.
I'm logged in with Creative Cloud, I have my Adobe ID, I can check if I do have the right version (I can see the clouds pass by above the tree etc...) or I'm told with a bouncing red cube that Adobe Flash Player 11 is installed on my computer.
I've tried to activate my version as I read this somewhere, but how?
I do have Shockwave Flash plugin from Mozilla Firefox, is something wrong with that perhaps?
For a whole week Mozilla Firefox stopped responding and I had to initiate it again three times.
I'm simply lost and what's more important, I'm losing a lot of time.
My computer suffers from the permanent downloading and browser troubles.
Is there anyone who went through the same kind of experience and would be kind enough to exchange it with me?
My sincere thanks to you all for the time you're taking to give me some enlightening tips!
    Kindest regards,
    Gabs17   thanks!
PS. Could the reason for my problems be the fact that I haven't bought any Adobe product lately?

    Hi Gabs17,
Your Adobe product purchase history has nothing to do with Flash player install
Adobe Flash Player is a free software.
Make sure you have downloaded the right Flash Player as Flash Player for Firefox is different than one needed for Internet Explorer.
Please download it from : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
In case you still face issues please refer the KB : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html

  • Having trouble installing Adobe Flash player 17.0.0.134 on Mac OS 10.10.1.  Currently have 16.0.0305 flash player installed

Having trouble installing Adobe Flash player 17.0.0.134 on Mac OS 10.10.1.  Currently have 16.0.0305 flash player installed.  I've tried quitting Safari.  Have not uninstalled currently Adobe as yet.  How to fix?

Sorry, when I try to install Flash Player 17.0.0.134, it will begin initialing, then stop saying "Installation Failed" and to press "Finish".  It then directs me to troubleshooting.  I made sure I quit Safari as per their instructions, but have not gone as far as "uninstalling" my current Flash Player 16.0.0.305, because it looks like I will screw something up in the process.
    Hope that information helps.

  • Detect if flash player installed

The attached code is referencing a player I am using on a
site and it pulls it in progressive download. If the person does
not have flash player installed the code does not go and get it and
just shows an empty white box. I would like it to come up with a
pop up and inform the person that they do not have flash and should
click on the download button to download it. How can this be fixed?
