  • Adobe Flash Player Keeps uninstalling Windows 7

I know this topic has been done over a few times but here is my setup
    I have Window 7 Home Edition 64bit
Web Browser is both the IE Explorer 9 and Firefox 18
Flash player is Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.146
I install it and then after closing browser I have to keep reinstalling it as I am looking at Youtube or speedtest.
I am running AVG I have tried the following
Uninstalling it via a link from this site
Running msconfig without any other applications
    Uninstalled Google Chrome
Uninstalled any malware program and AVG
    Uninstalled Real Player...
Please Help I am installing this program 2-4 times a day.

    both have been installed
What happens is that when I restart computer the flash stops working , the applications are there but they dont work with the "FlashUtil32_11_5_502_146_AciveX.exe sybol has changed and I cant open it with the following error " Windows cannot access the specified device, path , or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
This does sound strange as I am the administrator and also have all permissions.
    Thanks hope this helps

  • Why does Adobe Flash Player keep crashing and then apparently uninstalling itself?

why does Adobe Flash Player keep crashing and then apparently uninstalling itself? Is this not clear enough?

From System Preferences > Preference Pane click on FlashPlayer > Storage and see what you have selected for options.

  • My adobe flash player keeps crashing. Why?

I use Mozilla Firefox exclusively as my browser. When I am connected to Facebook and playing their casino games, the Adobe Flash player keeps randomly crashing. When it crashes, it locks up the computer and I have to shut down and reopen the browser. Recently, an information box has been opening up in the upper left corner of the screen called the Adobe Flash Player action box or something like that. The context is filled with lots of computer jargon I don't understand. At the bottom of the box there are 2 options to pick from, either dismiss or continue. Most of the time the screen freezes up before I've had the chance to pick one. After I go to the Windows task manager and shut down the boxes that were open, I get the normal gray "Adobe Flash Player has crashed" screen. The really odd thing is that there is no prompt allowing me to send a crash report to Mozilla. I have uninstalled and completely reinstalled the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Just in case these might be a problem, I have the following 3 "add-ons" loaded in to the browser: Quick Time Plug-in 7.7.6 7.7.6.0, Shockwave Flash 16.0.0.305, and Shockwave for Director 12.1.7.157. As well, in case they might be the problem, I have the following 2 programs installed into my computer are: Adobe Flash Player 16 NPAPI and Adobe Shockwave Player 12.1. FYI: I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit. Hopefully I have given you enough information to make an assessment. If you need anything from me, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

My Adobe flash player keeps crashing regardless that all steps listed in help menu were applied several times.

Try to uninstall and reinstall Flash

  • Adobe Flash Player keeps crashing in Google Chrome

I am using Google Chrome and every time I open the browser Adobe Flash Player keeps crashing.  I have Windows 7.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Hello,
Just chiming in to say that I am experiencing the same issues.
    using Win 7, Firefox 19.0, Flash 11.6.602.168
    Tried the DRM fix,
Tried uninstalling Firefox and Flash, restarting Win 7, reinstalling Firefox and Flash
Tried reinstalling display and my NVidia drivers.
Still getting "Sorry we were unable to stream this video" message.
    Also having problems on Chrome.
Some troubleshooting threads suggest to go to chrome://plugins and disable the chrome flash player.
When i disable the chrome flash player and try to play an amazon instant video, I get the "Sorry we were unable to stream this video" message.
When i disable the system flash player and try to play an amazon instant video, the video plays but 'stutters.'  The audio is fine, but the video alternately pauses and plays for a second or two over and over again.
AIV works just fine on my iPad.
For everyone viewing, please take 30 secs to create an account and let Adobe know that their product is causing problems for your Amazon service.
This needs to get fixed asap!
    Thanks
    V.

  • Flash player keeps freezing on live streams

Why does my flash player keep freezing when I play live videos. When I play live videos on youtube like concerts they always freeze after about 2 minutes and then I have to refresh my browser. The same thing happens when I try to use Tinychat and it gets frustrating that I have to keep resfreshing my browser. I have tried uninstalling flash and reinstalling it again but that doesn't help.

    This Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW8p8JO2hQw In 1080p
    Firefox:
doesnt go further from here, just stops.
    Internet progress:
    Now with Chrome! :
(It did stop buffering after 8minutes for whatever reason but it was more lag (my connection) as it showed spinning circles then started again, on firefox there are no spinning circles, it just stops and never goes further.)
But it did buffer it all?
    Chrome connection:
I also have this issue with
    majorleaguegaming.com/live
    and
Twitch.tv streams. It's not JUST youtube, and it works in Chrome I just learned..

  • My flash player keeps crashing on a lot of sites i go to

my flash player keeps crashing on a lot of sites i go to especially ebay and it says adobe flash player crashed click here to reload. this never happened on my xp os but i recently installed win 7 64 bit on my pc but i also did a clean install with a brand new hd so how can i prevent this from happening

Download the following files by right clicking the links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as"(Firefox).
    Flash Player Uninstaller
    Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
    Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer
Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.
    Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLERS to remove all instances of Flash Player and Shockwave.
Run the Shockwave Installer first, then visit http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFull&P2_Plat form=Win32&P3_Browser_Version=MSIE with Internet Explorer, (there isn't a direct download link - sorry) and install the Shockwave FULL installer for IE.
Next, run the Flash Player ActiveX installer, and then the Flash Player (other browsers) Installer.
Lastly, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.
