Flash player not working. Also, can't click in settings.

Hello.
I'm currently using the latest mozilla firefox and I have windows 7, 64-bit version.
According to your site, i am using the latest version of adobe flash player, which is 10.2.153.1
I am having trouble with two of the main sites i go on. Picknik and Tinierme (two flash based sites)
I have been told to to to the global storage settings panel and allow third party sites to store data on my computer and i have also been told to move the slider to allow the sites to store 100kb.
But when i go to try and do these things, i am unable to click the box for the third party option, and when i move the slider, and navigate away from the page or click a different tab, it seems to reset itself. I was able to use these sites not to long ago, and it was...probably when i updated to the new flash that things started to go wrong.
please help?

thanks for helping. I have windows 7, internet explorer. recently had to replace my hard drive, and compete reinstall of all software so still a few bugs on settings, ect. not seeing any error messages. video and uploading pics seemed to be fine until the last week. not sure what could have changed . I can still look at PDF ect, I'm not positive its the Adobe that is messed up, but the 2 things I'm having problems with, clicking on and watching video on espn.com and not uploading pics to Facebook, both just does nothing when I try them. no errors, just black screen where its suppose to play or upload. the trouble shooting for both sites say make sure to have the latest version of flash player, so thats why I assume something is wrong with Adobe. when I do the self scan from this site it says I have the latest version. my settings say the player is enabled

I am hsving difficulty in viewing videos on the Internet. Each time I'm told to download the Flash Player. I have already done this but I still cannot get any of the videos to work. I subscribe to an online art class and I cannot view any of the videos so therefore cannot participate in my classes. Can you please help me figure out why this is happening, and help resolve the problem?

I didnt enable Java, i enable java scripts option and plugins i gives for options i only selected those two. and if i unselect them then adobe flash doesnt work again. IT works for me just I honestly hope it works the same for oters.

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button.
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

   Download it first.
   The next step is important.
   Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
   If it doesn’t quit, Force Quit it.
   Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
   When Force Quit window appears, select the application if not already.
   Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.
   Application will quit.
    Follow the prompts and install it.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security

Why does flash player not work with facebook?

Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

This means you don't have the latest version installed. Update to 11.9.900.117, and Firefox will allow it: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

I finally figured it out. Flash Player had not installed. I had to de-activate Active-X thru the safety tab on the menu bar and then download the Adobe Flash Player and now it's working. I re-activated Active X after I finished installing Flash,. Hope fully everything will keep working fine!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Flash Player not working in IE 10, Windows 7 64 bit version

My system is Windows 7 64bit version with IE 10. Adobe Flash Player will not work in IE 10. I have tried an unistall and a clean install with no success. I can hear the video but not see it. I also have Mozilla Firefox installed on my computer and Adobe Flash Player does work with it. This has been going on for about a month.

Here is solution I used for IE10, Window 7 64 bit:

1. Internet Explorer> Tools (or Alt + t)>Internet Options>Programs>Manage add-ons (Show: All add-ons) verify that the Shockwave Flash Objects are enabled.
2. From Safety on the IE Command Bar (you may have to right-click the IE menu or IE toolbar and enable the Command Bar) uncheck ActiveX Filtering.
If that helps, it would be safer to re-enable ActiveX Filtering and make an exception for the affected sites. See this article:
