Flash Player not working on other user accounts, only main.

I have this problem everytime Flash updates and have only been able to fix it twice. On a Windows XP SP 2 I have 3 accounts. The main administator, an administator, and a guest account. Flash Player works for the main admin but not for the guest or other administrator. I cant watch videos anywhere on the other two accounts , like youtube or embeded or anything that requires flash and when I try to install it, it says its installed, which it is. I found this problem a while back and favorited it but I lost it unfortunatly and cannot find it again.
I believe all I had to do last time was go into a file and replace a line of code with another and it worked, but since the update it hasnt.

You mention "certain websites" where Flash will not load. Are there pages that do display flash content on these accounts?

I have Flash 10.0.22.87 installed on a freshly built Citrix 4.5 PS. When the administrator is signed in, everything works just fine. When my users sign in, they navigate to a webpage that requires flash and it either tells them that Flash is not installed or it prompts them to install (but does nothing when you tell it to).
Did flash player become profile specific with this new release? I have 10.0.12.36 and 9.0.115.0 on my other Citrix servers and they work without issue for all users. I've tried uninstalling with the utility I downloaded from adobe.com and re-installing with the offline activeX control. I've played with the security settings opening thing wide open and it still does not work. There is no different software between the problem server and the other Citrix servers other than this version of Flash.

I am experiencing the same problem on my LAN. Administrator account the app works fine, end users sign in with non admin accounts and it will not work.
I spent some time reading online and found the following instructions on the NET. I tried them and I thought it worked because I was able to log on as a non admin user test account and the flash player worked just fine.
Log in as Admin
2. Download the following zip file from here:
www.supportflash.com/reset_all.zip
3. Unzip this folder onto your desktop.
4. Drag both files ‘reset_min_all.cmd’ and
‘subinacl.exe’ to your
desktop.
5. Run the reset_min_all.cmd file.
6. It will open a DOS like terminal and start
running through registry
keys.
7. When it is finished it will say “press any key
to continue”.
8. At this point you can install the latest Flash
Player:

9. Check that Flash Player is working for the

I also found 6 different versions of Version 8 that supposedly does not require Admin priveleges but it does. Back to the drawing board.

Flash Player not operating for certain User Accounts

Flash Player functions for my Administrator account but not
the 2 User accounts. I get FP9 required messages but it is loaded
and enabled. I have found the following in my Downloaded Programs

Both show Dependency as 1 file size damaged.
This looks on the surface to be wrong. How do I proceed to
correct this?

Hi ..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not delete the Safari cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that doesn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

FF will not start up. FF does not work on other user accounts on this machine either, but works ok on another pc on our home network. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Computer is an HP Envy 17 laptop. Firefox does not appear on Task Manager list of processes or applications. System restore did not fix problem. Google Chrome works ok. Internet Explorer works ok until I try to download Firefox. Then it too crashes. This pc has been running Firefox fine since I purchased it 10 months ago. I upgraded FF3 to 4 then to 5 with no problems. Suddenly yesterday it stopped working. There is no error message and evidently FF does not launch because there is no listing of Firefox in Task Manager processes or applications. I tried uninstalling Firefox, then tried to download it usingInternet Explorer, but when I click on the download button at the Mozilla site, Internet Explorer crashes. I did a system restore to 8/16/11 when Firefox was still working. This restored the program but it still does not run. Google Chrome seems to run fine. My internet access is via wifi through an Actiontec router and Verizon Fios. I am running Symantec Endpoint virus protection and do not have any Norton or Skype programs listed in Control Panel. My pc is set for automatic updates from Microsoft and from HP. They both say my software is up to date. Is there a fix for this problem or is it a sinister plot by Microsoft to force us to use Internet Explorer?

Why does flash player not work with facebook?

Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

This means you don't have the latest version installed. Update to 11.9.900.117, and Firefox will allow it: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Itunes not working in one user account

I'm running OSX 10.6.8 and the latest iTunes software. My iTunes has stopped working on one user account only, the menu is completely greyed out and will not function when launched. To quit iTunes I have to use force quit. I've tried deleting the plist preferences, re-installing iTunes from a back up and also re-installing from new, but the same fault persists. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Delete all gnome config files before (the .gnome* directories) and also caches and session config (somewhere in .config directory). You will lost all application config, but I do it from time to time and it solves even some application bugs.

thanks for helping. I have windows 7, internet explorer. recently had to replace my hard drive, and compete reinstall of all software so still a few bugs on settings, ect. not seeing any error messages. video and uploading pics seemed to be fine until the last week. not sure what could have changed . I can still look at PDF ect, I'm not positive its the Adobe that is messed up, but the 2 things I'm having problems with, clicking on and watching video on espn.com and not uploading pics to Facebook, both just does nothing when I try them. no errors, just black screen where its suppose to play or upload. the trouble shooting for both sites say make sure to have the latest version of flash player, so thats why I assume something is wrong with Adobe. when I do the self scan from this site it says I have the latest version. my settings say the player is enabled

I finally figured it out. Flash Player had not installed. I had to de-activate Active-X thru the safety tab on the menu bar and then download the Adobe Flash Player and now it's working. I re-activated Active X after I finished installing Flash,. Hope fully everything will keep working fine!
