Flash player on consoles: wii + ps3 etc...

Hi guys. Googled this but the info is very diverse.
I want to make my website flash educational games available to students through TV consoles such as wii etc...
Does anybody have solid info as to their support.
wii - I think somebody mentioned downloading flash 10 putting on a USB stick and sticking in the USB slot of the wii
etc...

No answers so had ro search. PS3 and PSP are good with flash player 10. XBox definatley NOT and flash only good with flashplayer 7 I think.

What adobe flash player to use for ps3

ps3 has adobe flash player but it says i have to reset when i do it don't work . what to do.

And I tried that before whenever I had to revert to the FP 10.3 version 6 months ago for just Hulu and netflix. It didn't help much there either way.
And before the problem cropped up originally everything was fine.
Although, then, I had removed Google Earth and Google Chrome because they seemed to influence the viewing a bit.
I have now readded Google Chrome as a secondary browser but it hasn't changed anything as far as the videos go.
I have now also upgraded to the latest Flash Player but I still have the same problems.
I can only view the Comcast movies and series in the lowest resolution and speeds and only can use the Normal screen at that, not the Full screen mode. And Comcast requires at least FP 11.1 to be used.
The movies are jerky, sometimes completely freezing up and the audio and video are almost always out of sync (again).
Short of replacing the graphics card, no one has come up with an answer.
I am sure a lot of people have older graphics cards in their system and have no problems with their video.
But I'm sure that I am not the only one that has this problem either.

With a family approaching teenage years, it's imperative I maintain control of access to inappropriate content on ALL devices attached to my wireless router - not just the PC or Mac.
I am not in a position to setup protection at a device level, mainly due to the restrictions and problems it causes. I need therefore to do this at network / router level - so once for all devices.
What is available for me to do this?
One suggestion I have heard is to use something like OpenDNS which means I can track all websites accessed and then take appropriate action with my kids. I would rather that than use software which restricts much of the safe side of the web too. Does BT provide me with the ability to track at this level? If not, does it provide me with the ability to use OpenDNS servers instead of their own (Sky blocks this which is the reason I am leaving them - therefore leaving my family exposed - which is very irresponsible of them).

If you use your own router instead of the home hub 3 that BT supply, then you can implement OpenDNS without any issues.

Problems downloading Flash Player for Wii

I've been having trouble downloading flashplayer for my wii. The wii's OS is Opera.... or at least what runs its internet browser. I'm constantly getting and error 240020...

How can i run older versions of flash player on youtube etc without being prompted to update my flash player/not being able to use the old version?

Adobe Flash Player not working with OS X Yosemite

Since I upgraded to the latest version of Yosemite, flash player will not work with any browsers. The latest version is: 10.10.2 (14C109).
When I install flash player all browsers crash or if I try to use them with anything that needs flash player, i.e. YouTube, etc. The only way I can use my browsers if I uninstall flash player.
Yes, I've tried using the latest adobe update, it does not work. Yes, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, it does not work. I'm at loss right now and puzzled, because I've encountered this issue in the past, but never this severe.

From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
           ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced ▹ Delete All...
In the sheet that opens, check the box marked
          Delete All Site Data and Settings
then click Delete Data. Close the preference pane.

Flash player crashes continuously in Firefox--tried everything

For the past few days Firefox browser videos requiring Flash player do not open but give me the 'crash screen'. It works fine with Internet Explorer because it is built in. I have tried all of the recommended fixes from adobe and and firefox.
I have enabled in firefox
I have disabled all plugins and extensions then tried enabling Flash Player
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player a few times
I have tried adjusting Flash player settings
'' " deleting FPs cache, etc.
I have not been able to adjust FPs acceleration because it won't open in the support pages.
I have: a newer toshiba Satellite L70 (intel i7)
64bit
windows 8.1
I am stumped!

I too have experienced a problem very similar to this and was hoping to find help here. Another person has experienced a very similar problem, but without response here: Adobe flash player freezes constantly
This all started when I updated to version 16.0.0.305. When I downgrade to version 16.0.0.296, the problem is resolved. However 16.0.0.305 is a bug fix that patches a critical zero day exploit, so I do not want to stick with it for very long.
I hope this is a known issue and Adobe will be releasing a patch for it soon.

They are browsers in the app store that direct flash video to a server, convert it and send it to the phone.
They mostly kind of work.
Look in the app store, read some reviews and see if one works for you.

Adobe Flash Player for Mac 10.5.8

I have been using Adobe Flash Player for ages (for Hulu, etc.) and I tried to update it today.
After that I was unable to open it. It keep showing the message:
The application Install Adobe Flash Player quit unexpectedly
I tried to find out what I should do and followed some directions shown to solve this, such as:
- Uninstall Flash Player
- trashing Flash Player plug-in (wasn't there, or couldn't find it)
- trashing Flash Player Install Manager (wasn't there, or couldn't find it)
According to Adobe's instructions, prior to installing Flash Player, I should open Safari Preferences, Security and then enable Allow Java and Allow All Other Plug-Ins in the Internet Plug-ins section, but no Internet Plug-Ins section appears in the Security section of Preferences.
I have tried to download Flash Player from a few sites, but I keep on receiving the same 'quit unexpectedly' message.
If anyone could help me, I would be really grateful. I need to resolve this problem as soon as possible. Up to today, there has been no problem.

Be careful where you download from, many free sites now attach malware or adware to it, only get from Adobe's site.
There are no recent updates for 10.5.8, is your iMac PPC or Intel?
See in each Browser which version of Flash it thinks it has...

Flash Player in Nokia 5320

Hi Everyone,
I am using Opera Mini to access my Facebook account on Nokia 5320, but when i try to play a video posted on my wall I get a message to update the Flash Player. When I click on the upgrade button it takes me to original Adobe website where the Flash player is available for Windows etc.
Can anyone help in this regard that how can I play video posted on Facebook in my phone.

I'm using facebook in Opera mini on my 5320 XM, when i try to play a video on facebook it goes to the facebook videos and i get a message to update my Flash player. When i click on the update button it takes me to the normal Adobe website for Flash update on windows etc. Can anyone help please ?

Flash Player download page broken?

Having successfully updated Java I have repeatedly attempted to update Flash Player. Whatever route I take to the download page, the "Download & Install" button is always missing.
Firefox 19.0.2, NoScript set to allow Adobe.com - sucessfully or the Java download page would have been kaput, ofc.
Please fix your website.

Maybe it is incorrect but that is the only URL that Adobe's website routes me to. Since your reply I have tried (safter clearing the cache and the cookies)
Adobe.com > Download > Adobe Flash Player [in the dropdown menu]
and via
Adobe.com > Download [page] > Get Flash Player [leftmost/uppermost of the 4 boxes on the LHS of the page].
Despite these and access via other routes through Adobe.com over, now, several hours, I have only seen this page and have never been redirected.
Please post what you belive id the correct URL, I will be pleased to try that.
PS I just checked the Shockwave player page (which I installed successfully after multiple attempts to download Flash Player - without any cache-clearing, etc.) & that displays the download button correctly.

Flash Player not connecting in Chrome

I have the latest version of Google Chrome and Flash Player works fine for videos etc. But when I try to start a chat / instant message on various sites, the pop up box appears and then displays an error message saying the connection has failed. No such problems on IE. I've tried reloading both Chrome and Flash Player but no luck sorting this problem.

Google embeds Flash Player into Chrome, if you have a problem with embedded Flash Player in Chrome, contact Google.

Websites tell me I need Flash Player, but it's installed

When I go to a website that needs Flash Player, the site states "this site requires Flash Player 10 or higher" or "you must download Flash Player to use this feature", etc. so I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Flash Player with no luck. I'm running Windows XP Professional, IE 7.0, 32 bit. I keep trying and trying to uninstall FP but it still shows ver 10.0.32.18 installed, yet the websites still keep telling me it's not installed. H E L P please!

Hi, Since you are using XP, have you Installed the Service Pack 3?
Also the version of Flash Player that you mentioned is very very old. Evidently when you Uninstalled that didn't get removed for some reason. I would try the Manual Uninstall/Install method.
Download the Uninstaller and SAVE it to your Desktop:

Then download and SAVE the Installer for IE to your Desktop:

Use the Administrator Account.

Disable any Anti-Virus programs until after the Install is complete

Check and make sure the Anti-Virus is still Disabled.
Run the Installer and when finished, Reboot.

Flash Player 10.1 is jerky and freezes - Apple Mac

I have a MacBook (a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of memory (1067 MHz DDR3)) running OS10.6 and had an issue with Flash 10.1 - ie. it was jerky and the picture would occasionally freeze... BUT only when trying to play a live stream. Note, watching highlighted clips were fine - ie. the quality of the playback was not jerky.
Anyways, I managed to resolve this issue by TURNING OFF the Hardware Acceleration feature within Flash Player 10.1 - which comes switched on as a default. To turn off the Hardware Acceleration feature, select the link shown below, then control-click the animated Flash Player logo and select 'Settings' from the displayed options. This will open and display the Adobe Flash Player Settings option box. Simply click inside the ticked-box next to the words: Enable Hardware Acceleration, which disables this option. It also means that you should now be able to watch live streaming using Flash Player 10.1 on your Apple Mac without the feed being jerky or freezing etc.
