Flash player opens inside WMP inside ie8 browser causing dual soundtracks and off buffering

I recently bought a new computer.
now when i watch flash player 10 videos (for some reason this only applies to this vid on this page)
the flash player would not show (had empty box with little x on top left corner only vid on website that did),
so i did something to some setting by right clicking, i was aked to run direct x
i did so, now the movie opens in its correct player but inside a WMP aswell all in the one browser
other vids use the correct player but i think i have screwed up settings.
now that its in 2 player module things itsscrews up bufferig,sound and general playing.
could it just be a embedding falt on their page
is there a fix any help appreciated.

Ok, so ive searched the net and not found a single person with my problem, if its something easy ive missed im sorry. Flash player opens in a new window for every bit of flash. Like if I go to hulu and start to watch a movie it will not load in browser but open a new window on the desktop and begin playing. If I go to a website that has a flash based set up like the air forces website just the backround will load and the flash thats supposed to be on the page tries to load in a new window like hulu but since its not a movie it doesnt work. It does this for everything flash, meaning if I go to a flash heavy website I see only the html parts and end up with tons of blank flash windows in my task bar I cant bring up. Im running firefox but it does it for ie too so I dont think its a browser issue.

I need to know how to run Flash Player in a Vista 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit O.S.

Help please ! I have been reading for days, trying everything to find the answer to my dilemma, which BTW is making it impossible to use our new computer now. Every other minute it seems I get the message that I need to run Flash Player in a VISTA 32-bit browser which is actually running on a 64-bit operating system. Do I have to uninstall a program (what and where is it) and then instal something else (from where etc.)?
Give me back our XP! I get the idea that Adobe keeps SAYING they are developing a platform for Adobe Flash to run on a 64-bit, but I fear that is only a stall. Who is responsible for helping neophytes? No matter how many times I have tried to contact Adobe, it is a joke. One time, even though I do not have a subscription for service, the poor man took pity on me. But his Indian accent was so severe I have ZERO idea what he was saying. Can one of you wonderful, erudite, helpful people out there give me the solution in computer language 101?? I will be forever grateful. I wish our computer "guru" had been smart enough to give us the pros and cons when he suggested Vista and 64..... When I am asked for a serial number even I have no earthly idea how to get that either. I feel completely HELPLESS and SLEEPLESS in Tucson. Flash player opens muted by default on all browsers

In the past couple days I have experienced an annoying issue where flash player opens muted on all browsers. This is WIndows 7 64-bit OS, the latest Flash Players, the latest browsers (IE, Firefox and Opera). I can unmute but having to do so every time I open a new video is DANG annoying! Is there any registry or hidden config settings that controls the opening state of audio for the flash player that I can modify...I have never seen this in years of using Flash Player...help please...
After reading more discussions and testing flash player on other sites that stream flash its obvious that the issues stems from YouTube...but this only coincides with the latest release of Flash Player. This indicates that Flash Player is allowing stream content to manipulate controls on the player...so how can we prevent this????

Google has acknowledged a "glitch" in their YouTube code that is causing this. There is NOTHING that Flash Player has to do with it, and there is NOTHING that Flash Player can fix in YouTube's code. Google has stated that they are working on the fix this week.

Adobe Flash player opening outside of firefox problem

Hi, this problem just started today.
Basically when i try to watch any video on youtube, the flash player opens up outside of firefox,just like in the picture here.
It is very anoying and i have no clue how to repare it.
I uninstalled flash player and reinstalled a new one and it didnt change anything.
If anyone has a solution please let me know

HI again i was wrong the problem is persistent. It did not have to do anything with clearing the internet cache.

Flash player not working everytime i close browser

I have recently encountered this problem where my flash player doesn't work. Everytime I bootup/restart my laptop I need to reinstall the flash player so that website are able to display correctly. I also need to reinstall flash player again everytime I close a browser. This happens on every browser i've used; Internet Explorer, Firefox & Chrome. It's a very weird issue and i've hit a brick wall here. I've tried all your suggestions in the forums whereby some users are experiencing the same or similar issue. Please note that all browser are the latest except for IE (which is 8):
Versions:
Internet Explorer: 8.0.7600.16385
Chrome: 17.0.963.79
Firefox: 11.0
Flash Player: 11.1.102.63
Shockwave: 11.1.102.63
Here are some examples of the issue:
The issue is not limited to one website but there are others as well. Sometimes it affects form field (field where you need to enter username or etc).
I am not sure what is the cause of the issue. Can you help?

My windows is Windows 7 Home Edition.
I haven't tried a clean installation yet but before i've tried uninstall(using the uninstaller) and reinstall it, doesn't seem to work. But i will try the clean installation tonight when I get back, then I'll update it here.

Can't find much about the standalone viewer, except in the Flash Builder docs, which says a .swf can specify to use it. I can't find a download link.

You can download the standalone player (Projector) from https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you need to make the .swf file association manually.

I'm sorry you are running into this crash. To help investigate the problem, we'll need you to do a few things for us.
First, add the following line to the file mms.cfg (open in Notepad)
SilentAutoUpdateVerboseLogging=1
You can find the mms.cfg file here:

windows 7 64bit: c:\windows\syswow64\macromed\flash\mms.cfg
Next, we'll want to get a crash dump so we can see what's going wrong. You can enable crash logging on Windows Vista or 7 using the following steps:
Download the following files: Enable Crash Logging.reg and Disable Crash Logging.reg.
Double-click the Enable Crash Logging.reg file. Click Yes in the Registry Editor dialog.
Restart your computer.
Let the updater/installer crash occur
After the crash, open a file browser window and type the following in the navigation bar:%localappdata%
Go to the CrashDump folder.
Select the most recent file that appears with the extension .dmp.
Double-click the Disable Crash Logging.reg file downloaded in Step 1 and click OK.
Restart your computer.

When i use torbutton, it asks to install flash player plug-in but it doesn't allow to download and install it.why?

when i use torbutton in firefox for anonymity, i can not play flash player based videos like youtube and it prompts to install flash player plug-in. i checked add-on in tool menu and found out this plug-in is not installed. i tried to D/L and install it but it doesn't allow me to do it and gives D/L error. whats the problem?
it should be noted that i configured "security setting" tab in torbutton prefrences to accept plug -ins rences by unckecking "disable plug-ins during tor using".

Listen. This service is, has been and seemingly will be: FREE. So while emotions are running on the hot side of the guage, let's remember; it is FREE. Adobe owes no one anything. One company. And almost all of us are using this one company's technology to stream; for FREE.

When the Mac was setup you had to create an administrative password.and account. Yo have to sign into that account to install apps/plug-ins like Flash. To reset that password.
