Flash Player Reading VideoGlide

I use a Kworld USB 2.0 to convert my analog video signal. I have a Mac mini so I use VideoGlide to convert the 2.0 signal. I stream live on UStream which runs its video camera input through Flash. I can't get Flash to recognize the "camera" i.e. the VideoGlide video input from my KWorld USB 2.0.
HELP

What in the world is going on with Adobe Flash Player?
I am totally dismayed and disgusted.  First my Ipod breaks and I cannot access youtube.  Yes, I am a youtube fiend.  Now, for the past 3 days I am trying to troubleshoot the reason I cannot access youtube.  It is asking me to download the Adobe Flash Player 10.  I think I have tried to download and troubleshoot about 80 times over this past weekend.  I am at a total loss as to why I cannot get any humans to help me online to resolve this irritating and I know simple problem.  I am not a computer tech guru as you can tell.  I am about to hire a tech from my job to come to my home to solve this problem.
First when I tried to install the last 50 times, the response was "failed to install".  A few hours ago the response was after installation "add ons were restricting me from installing",(whatever).  Could someone please have pity on me and tell me what to do.  I just installed Internet Explorer 8 this weekend thinking that it would help me.  I was totally wrong.  I swear I will pay someone to come to my house and help me resolve this problem.  I live in Jersey.

  • Safari 4 and Adobe flash player & reader download

Safari 4 fails to download Adobe flash player & reader files. The automatic download process does not save to the download location and then attempts to open file in the safari browser. No dmg file is saved
The same task in Opera & Firefox is fine.
Everything else with Safari is fine too. Is this some corrupt plist?
Thanks in advance if anyone can cure this oddity.

    Try maintenance.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.
Go here for trouble shooting 3rd party plugins or input managers which might be causing the problem.

If you are running Safari in 64 bit mode, try running in 32-bit mode instead. Right or control click the Safari icon in the Applications folder, then click: Get Info In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle next to General so it faces down. Select 32 bit mode. Also, (in that same window) make sure Safari is NOT running in Rosetta.

  • Flash Player/Reader .exe Won't Open

I attempted to download the new versions of Flash Player and Reader, and I was able to download the .exe files, but when I try to run them, Internet Explorer opens for some reason, and then crashes before displaying a page. After this, the same Window that asks me if I want to run, save, or cancel the .exe file opens again. If I attempt to run it again, the Internet Explorer page will open again and the process will repeat ad infinitum. I have also noticed that almost all the Quick Start icons on my desktop have been changed to an image of the Internet Explorer Icon on a blank white page. This only happened after I downloaded the .exe Flash Player and Reader files. When I try to open them (e.g. Firefox, Skype), they do the same thing as the .exe and open Internet Explorer. I have already tried uninstalling the old versions of Flash Player and Reader. I have Windows Vista. What can I do to fix this?
    Thanks,
    Platt

  • Redistrubutable versions of flash player, reader and shockwave

I have computers in remote areas with no internet access, they cant download these products. Can I download redistributable versions and post them on CD? Where can I find these redistributabls? I can apply for a license to get them but I have to live in USA or Canada to fill in the application form. I am in Australia. These products are for children K-12 to do schoolwork. The lessons are posted to them on DVD but they cant view the lessons without these Adobe products.

  • Adobe acrobat/flash player/reader-?they are problem

Recently I received 2 birthday cards from 2 different web sites. In both cases,I was unable to open the pictures/words/songs on the cards. The web site names were on the page, but no pictures etc  would open.I also tried to open a 3rd card website myself, curious as to weather or not I could even view the cards.Even after it suggested downloading most recent adobe flash, which I already had done,it would not even open the card just to even view. It is as if the computer is not acknowledging the program or the update. Can you suggest what the problem or solution could be?

I don't have a solution, but just from experience I never try to open such cards. I have found those to be a major viruses. I guess there is an outside chance that a virus is what you got. It is not definite, but a possibility.

  • Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77 not playing in Mozilla Firefox 27.0.1

I am using Windows XP.  I downloaded Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.7 and installed it on my computer.  I opened Mozilla Firefox 27.0.1 and went to youtube to watch videos.  I clicked on a video to watch and received the following information:
The Adobe Flash Player is required for video playback.
    Get the latest Flash Player.
I opened Control Panel on my computer and saw that Adobe Flash Player is indeed installed.  So why is Firefox not recognizing it?

I opened Firefox, clicked on "Tools", clicked "Add-ons", and noticed there is a "Shockwave Flash 12.0.0.77" listed.  Is that the adobe flash player?
    Yes, it is.
It is set on "never activate" - because when I have it on, I get a computer page stall from time to time, and a little window pops up saying, "Warning:  Unresponsive script, A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding.  You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete."
See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script for a few suggested solutions.
BTW, "script" errors are not the same as Unresponsive plug-in errors.
The former are caused by javascript, ASP script or PHP scripts (in the page code) malfunctioning or "locking up".
The latter are caused by a defective plug-in (like Flash Player).

  • Firefox Plugins lists Shockwave Flash 12.0.0.70 but Adobe lists this as Adobe Flash Player, and Version 12.0.9.149 as Adobe Shockwave Player, so wtf is going on

Flash causes us all immense confusion, and Firefox is adding to the problem.
My Firefox Add-ons page lists (under Plugins -- isn't there a difference?) that I have:
Shockwave Flash 12.0.0.70 which is set to "Always Activate".
    Adobe websites list:
    Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.70
    Adobe Shockwave Player 12.0.9.149
-- so what on earth is the Firefox-listed "Shockwave Flash"?
This simply adds to the utter confusion already surrounding Flash Player -- which I cannot find anywhere amongst my Programs -- but which I can find under "Uninstall or change a Program" where it is listed as "Adobe Flash Player 12 Plugin".
There is also the thorny issue of FlashPlayer vs. FlashPlayerDownloader......
I need a flash of inspiration to get me out of shock -- I'm not waving, I'm drowning!

In the internals of the plugin it is still referenced as Shockwave Flash. That hasn't changed as it would break websites that check for a specific plugin name. You can see that on the about:plugins page and in the properties of the Flash plugins file.
You can open the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) and paste this JavaScript code in the command line to see how the Adobe Flash Player plugin identifies itself:
    <pre><nowiki>console.log(navigator.plugins["Shockwave Flash"].name);
    console.log(navigator.plugins["Shockwave Flash"].description);
    </nowiki></pre>
    *https://developer.mozilla.org/Tools/Web_Console
On disk you will also see Macromedia for folder names used by the plugin.
    *32 bit Windows: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
    *64 bit Windows: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\
    * C:\Users\&lt;user&gt;\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\

  • How to restore Adobe Flash Player for 32 bit Internet Explorer of Windows 8.1 64 bit?

Default Windows 8.1 64 bit install runs Internet Explorer 11 32 bit and all it's features, but slight disturbance for install of integrated applications runs user in such a trouble of loopback which he or she cannot escape, because problem application doesn't
runs for Windows or for it's programs, won't show it's Windows existence but wouldn't allow install of it's new software, I could only install complete new program for Windows program to run desired object.
I am using Rocket browser for Internet Explorer 11 32 bit because of problem of Adobe Flash Player uninstall or install.
But how many applications do I have to search, trial and if at all successful install for use because of problems of such applications of Windows?

As we have reviewed in other threads on the same topic. Internet Explorer for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 make use of separate management and content processes which on the desktop in a 64 bit environment are 64 bit and 32 bit respectively.
This is explained here on the IEInternals blog.
In most scenarios, the multiple processes are entirely transparent to the browsing experience. 32 bit addons continue to load and interact as expected with the content processes in which they are run and web scripts which detect browser architecture continue
to function, detecting a 32 bit browser.
In the Modern UI experience, the scenario is even more transparent as support for addons such as Flash and JavaScript are integrated into the 64 bit processes and updated through standard Windows Updates.

Answer for problem simply Got it !
Internet Explorer 11 needs websites 'Trusted', add all pages in need of running addons, and rest Windows operating system handles.
Now I am listening to songs on Windows Media Player (T3 skin) from a website which earlier messaged Adobe Flash Player not installed refusing playing songs, but now running programs without installing Adobe Flash Player.

  • Safari: How view video clips without Adobe Flash Player?

In OS 10.7.2 and with Safari 5.1.2 or Firefox 8.x  how does one view video without installing Adobe Flash Player?  On such websites as that of the New York Tines, I get a "Your System Status" dialogue box that says: "We're sorry!  You need to update your Flash Player."  A link appears in the dialogue box to "Get Adobe Flash Player."   What options does one have?
    Thanks for considering my question.

Macs now do not ship with Adobe Flash installed. Did you buy your Mac with Lion or is your Mac the previous generation?  You have to do the installation yourself.  Click Get Adobe flash player.

  • Flash Player update for Mac OS X 10.5.8

Does anyone have any ideas how to update my flash player on my Mac?  It has the following: OS X 10.5.8 which has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor.  I tried updating directly from the Adobe forum related to this, but it only lists the option from 10.6 to 10.10 now.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

If you're on an Intel Mac, you can probably complete the installation.  I don't *think* we'll block you at install time.  That said, we're using the MacOS 10.6 SDK, so there may be problems.  You should be eligible for a free upgrade to Yosemite, and you might want to consider it.
Running a Flash Player from the archives means that you're missing all of the security fixes that have been shipped since that build was initially released.  If you're surfing the web, this is generally a pretty bad ideal, even on Mac.  You're going to be much safer running current versions of the OS and Flash Player.

  • How to Download Sound Clips in Flash Player 9?

Some of our audio book publishers use the Adobe Flash Player
9 to offer sound clips. I am quite familiar with how to download,
to our audio books Web store, other types of sound clips such as
wma and mp3 but haven't figured out how to download the Flash
    Player 9 files.
I would appreciate advice on how to download the Flash Player
    9 sound clips.

Go to this Adobe website to see what version you currently have: Flash Player Checker. Then there's a link on the page to send you to the download page for the latest version. This is the only page one should use to download and install the Flash Player.

  • Adobe Flash Player does not work

Suddenly all web sites using Flash Player no longer work showing the error message that I will have to install the latest Flash Player. I followed instructions in help and I used the uninstaller and resinstalled but it still doesn't work on any web site. It is version 12.0.0.77 for Mac using Safari. Strangely, when following Adobe help, at one point a box is displayed that says
Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.
    Please go to step 2.
Step 2 was to install which I did. But the error message still appears. For some reason applications cannot detect the presence and version of Flash Player.

  • 1/13/2015 - Beta - Flash Player 16.0.0.280

The latest Flash Player 16 beta builds are now available. Beta builds can be downloaded from labs.adobe.com.  Today's build brings the Flash Player beta up to date with the Janurary 13th official release.
New Features for Flash Player 16:
    Stage3D - Standard Constrained Profile
In version 14 of the Runtime we added the new Standard profile to desktop systems.  In Version 15 we expanded that to mobile devices in AIR.  In Flash Player 16 we've added a new Standard Constrained profile.  Like Baseline Constrained, Standard Constrained targets older and lower powered GPUs on both desktop and mobile devices.  While Standard profile reached ~21% of iOS devices, Standard Constrained can now reach more than 85%.  Developers can access this by using the new STANDARD_CONSTRAINED constant in Context3DProfile.  The chart below breaks down the differences between the different profiles that are available.
PPAPI Installers for Windows and Mac
We're pleased to announce that we now have PPAPI installers for the standard version of Flash Player for Windows and Mac.  Previously, this version of the Player was available only as an integrated component of Google Chrome.  With the introduction of these installers, Flash Player is now available for all Chromium based browsers using the PPAPI interface.  Please note that these installers are not required nor used by Google Chrome.  Chrome will continue to include Flash Player without requiring any additional installation. Both the standard and content debugging versions of the PPAPI installers are now available on http://labs.adobe.com.
FSCommand change for Internet Explorer - Extended Beta
This feature changes Flash Player’s handling of the FSCommand for Internet Explorer (IE) version 11 running in Edge mode. Currently, the method of invoking Flash Player FSCommand differs between that for IE and that for non-IE browsers. For IE, Flash Player fires a registered event handler for FSCommand; For non-IE browsers, a corresponding JavaScript callback function is invoked. This change will directly invoke the JavaScript callback function for FSCommand With IE 11, as is done for non-IE browsers, rather than use the event handling method.
    Fixed Issues
    Multiple Stability and Security Fixes
    About the Beta Channel
Beta Versions of Flash Player are available for automatic installation via our Background Update service.  Please subscribe to automatically install or receive update availability notifications at runtime

Each Flash Player update includes important security updates necessary to protect you from malware on the web.  You should always run the latest Flash Player.  Reverting is a terrible idea.
Are you also experiencing this issue in either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?  They all have significantly different versions of Flash Player.
