Flash Player Sometimes Works Sometimes NOT?!
I have just installed last version of Flash player and Shockwave as well on my new computer and everything was all right while I tried to open certain website I visit quite often on my other computer. But when I klicked to enter the site, new tab was opened (I use Firefox) with Adobe Flash player install page. I thought that it requires new version or what so I continued by installing it, but I got surprised when I restarted firefox and after entering the site the same tab was opened with - Adobe Flash player install. At first I tried to use IE but the same situation repeted. I tried to remove flash plugin using adobe removal tool and reinstall it again manually but nothing changed. If I want to see something on youtube or smewherelse everythings works fine videos play smooth without any problem but this site it is somehow problematic. Surprising is that it works normally on my old computer and plugin settings seem to be the same on both machines but... Can anybody give advice?
I use Win XP home czech edition (unfortunately), Firefox 3.5.2 and flash 10.0 r32 the URL is http://www.vinohradis.sk I don't exactly know which version of flash it requires. But as I said already, on other machine everything works perfect with the same version of flash player, the only differnece is OS which is Win XP pro but could it be problem?

FLASH PLAYER 10.1 does not work on my 32bit browser
the newest version of FLASH PLAYER 10.1 would not work on my 32bit FIREFOX browser. so I installed flash player on a 32bit VERSION of internet explorer. it worked fine for a few days till ADOBE asked me if i wanted to update my player. NOW IT DOES NOT WORK ! ! ! NOW IT DOES THE SAME "GREEN FLASHING BLANK SCREEN THING" THAT IT DOES ON MY FIREFOX BROWSER ! ! ! WHAT GIVES ? ! ? ! ? !
Hello I have a Dell inspiron 6400 computer with window's home vista and with the latest standard Internet explorer. i was enjoying the fact that i could watch Youtube and other such sites until i was prompt to downlaod the latest version (10.1) flash player. which like anyone else I did, but not the mcfee anti virious as it would be inconflicsion with Norton anti virious.
Now when i go to view a youtube etc I just get a blank or black screen.
Please how can i rectify this problem

Wired and Wireless sometimes work (mostly not) after update.
So I have an issue with my network connection. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't (mostly doesn't). This is for both wired and wireless. This started to happen a couple of days ago after an update. I had not updated for about a month prior. Prior to the update I used WICD and it worked just fine with no problems. I have no exotic hardware (ipw2200 using its firmware, dell xps gen2 notebook) and I set up everything about 6 months ago based on all the wikis. I have a dlink dir-825 router. Both wired and wireless connections work in windows every boot so it's not hardware.
I've included as much info as possible... sorry for the length.
Things I've tried:
Removing the ! from the INTERFACES=(!eth0 !eth1) in rc.conf
Removing netfs from the daemons
all the hostnames match in hosts and rc.conf

Rebooted again and no network... rebooted again and... had network!? I tried changing wicd to use dhclient only and did the triple reboot test again and it didn't change anything... randomly working network... same with dhcpcd.
So it appears to be a dhcp timeout issue however it makes no sense because before the update a couple weeks ago it was working every time with no hiccup. Am I not providing enough information that will aid in anyone helping me figure this out? -
Flash Player And adobe reader not working and downloads don't work
I have IE 8 and windows vista and everything has worked great for 2 years until 2 or 3 weeks ago. At that time my flash player stopped working so I could no longer get videos , streaming stock quotes, weather map loops, etc and when I go to websites that use Flash (i.e. Piaaz Hut) it wouldn't work. Also, at that same time my adobe reader stopped working properly and I can't view mosy PDF Files.
I have gone through many of the posts on this forum and have tried many of the fixes, but none have work for me.
I tried to uninstall the Flash Player, but I didn't use the Adobe uninstaller.
Whenever I try to update or load the Flash player, a dialog box with the globe tossing papers to the folder appears and then after a few seconds I get the the message that IE can't install_flash_player_ax.exe from fp download.adobe.com, and then a message that says IE was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.
In control panel programs I have listed

In Tools i have the following add ons and they are all enabled

ThanksOk, I tried to download the firefox browser but IE wouldn't let me download it. My friend downloaded it from their computer to a flash drive and I loaded it to my computer from the flash drive. The download of Firefox from the flash drive worked, and now I'm using Firefox & both my adobe flash player and my adobe reader are working just great.
However, neither the flash player nor the reader are working if I use IE, so I guess I will just have to use Firefox as my browser.
I'm going to mark my question as answered since I really don't care that I have to use Firefox instead of IE,although I can't understand why it works using Firefox but not using IE.

I have a new iPhone 4s - having lots of trouble with Siri. It seems cranky - sometimes works, somtimes not. My other issue - is there a way to create a mail signature using the font I use in Outlook (or can I import that signature)? How can I find fonts availble on my phone?

After uninstalling flash player, I can't get the web site to reinstall it. I go to the web site click the agree and install now and gos to the next page but nothing pops up like it said it should.

You don't say on what Mac, and you haven't actually asked a question, but perhaps this might be helpful:

You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version, 10.2.152.25 or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Note that the latest Flash Player update only works on YouTube with Safari in 32 bit mode - until YouTube correct this.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

Im using vista home basic,on a note book i got last year. the flash player was working fine until last week, at that time i updated to ie 8 and flash 10.
The player hasnt worked since. The playback is very choppy, just a series of fotos realy. The settings dont respond. Also it freezes the page into wich it is embedded.and the rest of the system to a lesser extent. ihave followed the instructions about reinstalling and using the uninstaller, ensuring that i reboot inbetween. no difference. its a 32bitoperating system with 1gb of ram. I understand that flash wont work in 64bit ie, ive looked under the help on ie and as it doesnt mention that its 64 i understand that means it must be 32? ,,,,I realy hope you can help!!! going off on a bit of a tangent,,, but this 'failure' of flash is realy quite scary! it makes you realise just how entrenched it is in every day life! its like the end of civilisation! no facebook,,,no utube, no online news!!! helllllllllp!hey thanks for reply,

Sound sometimes works, sometimes not
The sound on my computer sometimes works, sometimes not. I have an HP pavilion touchsmart laptop running on windows 8. I'm not really tech savy and hesitant to try troubleshooting too much on my own. Support and suggestions would be helpful. Not sure if it has to do with updates or why it sometimes works and other times not.

Personally I'd suggest running through the procedure I detailed in my initial post as it's fairly straight forward and in all likelyhood, you'll on need to remove the particular update ( KB2962407 ) and then hide it upon reboot.
At the end of the day, only you can decide what you feel comfortable with and if you're notebook is still under warranty, help from Staples or HP should be free of charge.

It seems that going to Preferences>Security> Check allow plug ins, then manage sites, and then allowing one site allows all??? Seems like a lot to go through. I have installed the player 4 times now and just got it figured out!

Flash player 14 - Retrieving Install not working
Hardware: Macbook Pro 2008
2.4GHz Intel core 2 Duo
4Gb Ram
OS: 10.9.4
Every time I launch and run the dmg install, it says Retrieving Install but stays at 0% and the application says Not Responding.
I have tried to uninstall Flash player and have checked that :
Library/Internet Plugins/Flash Player.plugin file is not present;
the Flash Player install manager is not present;
Rebooted the Mac; and
Repaired disk permissions.
But I still cannot get Flash player to install. Can anyone suggest anything else to try?Try http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx. dmg

Below are some steps which I have taken to resolve this issue but no success:
- Uninstalled the IE 9 and found the same issue in IE 8
- Enable the ActiveX filter but after that page works fine but flash image will not display

Error message when installing Flash Player : List of actions not found
I get an error message when trying to install Flash Player.
I use Windows 64 bit with Internet Explorer 64x.
I'm able to download, the installation starts but it stops before completing.
I get this error message (loosely transalated) :
Installation encountered errors
List of actions not found
How can I fix this ?

AnnieI solved my problem by installing the Flash Player from home.
The network security at work prevented me from completing installation.

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Thank you hopefully can give me some info about the status with this or if there wen is one. I would have thought that being a company such as you are that it would already be taking care of right from the beginning and not wait years to take care of somewhat that is very important ro have especially when there is so much our there using Adobe Flash now. I am not sure if this is just a blog with customers or if the company actually sees these posts but I am just hoping company or not that someone knows something about this. Flash Player 10 installed but not woking
I have spent hours and hours trying to solve this issue on my own from all the adobe forums and forums on other websites about this issue. Still can't get FP to work and I need it working ASAP for my on-line college classes. Getting very desperate and would be incredibly grateful for a solution if anyone can help.
Note: Just before writing this I uninstalled FP active X via control panel and rebooted. The files are still in macromed as listed here, but I have uninstalled FP for a(NOTHER) fresh start.
Here's are the notes I have so far after seeing/trying help on other posts...
Flash player was working now every time I need to use FP it tells me to install but it is already installed.
Program does not show under Start, All Programs but it does show in the Control Panel uninstall list.
I don’t remember exactly when FP stopped working, but I’m not sure I’ve been doing much recently that would have required it, so may be longer than I think. Probably relatively recently though.
I have searched and searched for answers in the forums so I’ve tried several things people suggested, still not working.
Wondering if the problem is this….the ActiveX control is not showing in Manage Add-ons even though I clicked to install it when installing FP.

Checked that no older versions of Java were installed

Uninstalled Adobe Flash Player, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted (a few times)
Uninstalled, rebooted, installed through cnet’s downloads
Checked for updates for IE, Foxfire, Flash Player, Adobe Reader, & Java

I just installed FP again, did not get the video showing on Adobe site that it was successful even though the download said it was.
Uninstalled using Adobe uninstaller, then tried install once more with the same result.

Don’t see any relevant add-ons in Firefox. BTW, I don’t usually use FF and only downloaded it again because I’d read that FP was working for some people in FF when it wasn’t in IE. So, if we don’t get FF working with FP I’m good with that.
No NPSWF files in the Flash folder for me to right click.
Can't give you any version numbers.
