Flash Player sound

I was using plyaing video, animation, via flasher last night, and the sound was fine.  This morning, when I turned on the video, the sound phased in and out, and sometimes no sound.  I checked the sound card, and everything was fine.  I reinstalled Flash and the problem persisted.  What can I do?

What Operating System?
What browser?

  • Flash Player sound problems on a 5.1 system

I don't know if i found the right topic for asking for this question, but here it goes.
I noticed that flash player has this issue with my 5.1 system, when i play music (and i mean any music, like my online radio, played through flash, or music through the site VK.com), the sound is extremely awful. Words actually can't explain it, there is no bass, and the sound, overall, seems to be of very low quality. But it's not. When the same music is played via stereo system (any), it seems to be perfect - with bass and etc.
Now i'm really confused. It's either a problem of flash, or a problem of somewhat in my system. My guess is that flash simply does not support audio output rather than 2.0. I will be really grateful if anyone will at least point me in the direction of the source of this problem; it makes my life miserable. Thank you.

Is it possible to have e version of flash player like silverlight which give thepossibility to hear audio on whole 5.1 system?
I have the following system computer:
Case: Thermaltake Mozart; PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 750W; MainBoard: Asrock 4coredual-sata2; Heatsink: ZeroTherm Zen120; CPU: Core2 Extreme X6800 3,2Ghz; RAM: OCZ Platinum DDR400, 2x1 GB; GPU: Sapphire HD3850 AGP; PPU: BFG Ageia; HDD1: WD Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS; HDD2: WD WD2000BB; Monitor: Asus VB175T 17" 5:4; Audio System: danneggiato, in corso di sostituzione; OS: Xp Professional Sp3; Browser: Srware Iron.

  • Flash Player Sound & Video Problem

Since I have downloaded flash player 11 my videos in explorer are not right. The video and sound are out of sync. Have searched the forums and found no fixes. Can you help? Thanks

To help troubleshoot we'll need the following system information:
    Operating   system
    Browser
    Flash   Player version
When reporting issues with video or audio, it's also helpful to get your system hardware and driver details.  Instructions for finding this information can be found here:
    Windows
    Mac
Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player.  I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform.  If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing.  You can verify the use of HTML5 by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the context menu.

  • Flash Player sound level

Hi! Is there any way to specify initial sound level of all flash objects at webpage (via player settings maybe)? I want it low because it is so uncomfortable when I suddenly hear loud music or voice while browsing the web. I'm using firefox. Thanks.

I'm having this issue as well.  When I go to any web site and play a flash video the sound is very loud. I go into the control panel (Windows 7) and into "adjust system volume." There is a slider for firefox and flash player. The firefox slider has no affect on the volume, but the flash player slider does. The problem is that windows or flash player does not save that level. When I play another video later, I have to go in and adjust the sound level again.  Why won't it save the level like to other sliders do? Anyone?

  • Flash Player sound quality problems

From couple days I have prolems with all materials played from web with flash player (for example: YouTube, Vimeo). Every time I watch a movie sound have strange "clicks" / noise. Something like overdrive signal. This  become more audiable when in full screen mode.
I've tested MP3, FLACs, MPEG4, h.264 and other media played on my hard drive - no such issue - only video played trough flashplayer on the web.
Any idea what can I do with that? I've got latest 10.3 flash instaled.

  • Flash Player - sound going off after a while

I have exported a flash clip as an exe flash presentation file. I am using Windows 7 with flash player 10.
The flash clip contains 4 seperate video files (movie trailers) which have been imported into flash. I am able to play these fine by running the exe file created in Flash (CS4).
After a while (10 min or much longer somethimes) the audi goes off but the flash movie still plays without the audio.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
I have also improved the quality of the video files that I am using within the flash movie (downloaded them as HD video files and converted them to f4v files in Adobe Media Encoder and imported them into flash to play with flv component. Unfortunately when I try to play the published exe file, when it comes to play the imported video elements the audio plays fine but the images of the movie are jittery. Am i doing something wrong?
    Thanks in advance

Hi, not sure if you are in the correct forum. You may have more help in the Flash forum.
I don't understand CS4 and how Flash Player is related, so can't respond to that. Perhaps someone else will.
You could look on the right hand side for "more like this" when you open your thread since those threads are related to
    issues similar.

  • Adobe flash player sound wont save.

So guess I have to make a new one. Once again and only with Firefox Adobe Flash is stuck at 50% in the volume mixer. ONLY happens with Firefox and nothing posted on the normal site's fixes it. Last time changing it in safe mode did it but not any more so I have no way of getting 100% unless i go in and change it ever time I open Firefox maybe I can just get an add on to open the mixer with Firefox.
    Thing's I've done:
    clear Cache
Firefox NOT in Private Browsing mode
Tried in safe mode with no add ons.

Crashes or other problems with certain multimedia content in Firefox (such as Youtube videos and Flash animations or games) can often be resolved by performing the steps in these Knowledge Base articles:
    * [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems]]
    * [[Flash 11.3 crashes]]
    * [[Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox]]
On Windows Vista and above, you can disable Flash protected mode by following the instructions on these pages:
    * http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071#TemporaryWorkaround
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Disabling_Protected_Mode_in_Flash_11.3
(See [http://blogs.adobe.com/asset/2012/06/inside-flash-player-protected-mode-for-firefox.html this Adobe blog post] for technical details about Flash protected mode.)
Please tell us if this helped!

  • Sound from Flash Player when not in use.

After installing Google Chrome with Adobe Flash Player, sound on Flash Player (not sure of the source) bleeds thru when Flash Player is not in use. Problem goes away when Flash Player is uninstalled and returnes when Flash Player is re installed. Windows 7 OS on a Dell XPS 17.

    Hi Chris,
Thank you for your reply. The sound I get is difficult to explain. The
content seems to be some kind of commercial or talk show. one sound track
is on ADD. It appears independent of the tabs open including none open. As
I mentioned in my first post this condition is dependant on if Adobe Flash
Player is installed on the computer. As a side note, when the Adobe
Flash Player is uninsulated I continually get a box requesting to reinstall
the program. When I do, the problem returns.
    Thanks

  • Microphone not working with Adobe Flash Player

The microphone in my desktop pc works fine with kde and skype but not with Adobe Flash Player.
The Microphone settings tab in the Flash Player detects a "Linux Microphone" and I can here my voice coming from the speakers but the Flash Player sound meter bar shows nothing.
Any ideas where/what to look for?
    Thanks

  • Flash Player v11.3.300.265 converts STEREO web audio into 5.1

Hello! Excuse my English, please. I got a problem since the last update of Flash Player. Everything worked perfect before that update. And now, when I'm listening to my MP3 files (all are in STEREO) through IE9, they are automatically converting to 5.1 by Shockwave Flash Object. I can fix it only by disabling "Shockwave Flash Object" Add-on in Internet Explorer preferences! 5.1 that makes FLASH Player sounds horrible, TOO loud, TOO heavy bass and why to do that?! MP3s were coded in stereo... I can listen to my music through WMP12 without any problem, all my audio is in stereo. I have Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) and Creative X-fi Xtreme Audio PCI card. Thanks!

Uninstalling 11.3.300.265 and installing back Flash Player 11.2.202.235 solved this problem. Now everything is in stereo as it should be. So it's definetly something wrong with that new audio fixes in latest flash version...
