Flash Player stopped working in outlook

After updating from google to google chrome my flash player stopped working in microsft out look, using microsoft office 2007 with vista. The the flash player works with google chrome but not with outlook. How can I fix this problem.

Outlook doesn't need Flash Player.
Do you mean Internet Explorer?
If yes, could you please check if ActiveX Filtering is disabled and Flash Player is enabled in the browser.

  • Adobe flash player stopped working properly please help

i'm using adobe flash player version10.0.32.18 on vista, and everytime i open my facebook application, i often encountered adobe flash player stopped working properly, then the page will recover, then after few minutes it will stopped then recover again. please someone help me how to solve this problem.

Hi, Thanks. Your Flash Player files and the SWO(if it is vs 10.0.45.2) are correct. Are you having problems on other sites
or just that one? Are you getting a message that is different than "you need to update your Flash Player?"
Many times it is the websites or if you are getting this from a game, then that can be causing the problem. I haven't been
able to determine if the websites that have NOT updated to support the latest Flash Player are just putting out a generic
message or not.  You might want to check with the site to see if they support FP vs 10.0.45.2.
You may have an add on that is conflicting also, it is hard to tell. Some anti-virus programs have add ons that may conflict.
Since several users are having problems with Facebook, Farmville, Zynga, etc. my opinion is that it is not your computer.

  • Flash Player stopped working for Chrome in Windows 8

Randomly, the flash player stopped working for Chrome. I run a Windows 8 system. Everytime I go to a website that uses the flash plugin (youtube, video streaming websites) a bar pops up telling me that the plug in will only work in the desktop. I've never encountered this problem before.
    I have:
    1. Checked to see if I needed updates. I'm all updated.
    2. Reinstalled Chrome to try and fix it, to no avail.
Additionally, when I view the Flash Player settings from my control panel, under Advanced Settings, it says that the plug in version is not installed. However, I'm unable to click on that or click on the settings that say "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)".
What is going on? I really disllike running Chrome from the desktop and would like this to be fixed.

Chrome uses its own "proprietary" build of Flash Player, so you WON'T see any plugin in your control panel for it. You verify that it's enabled by typing "chrome://plugins" in your Chrome address bar. I'd provide a screenshot but I've REMOVED Chroime from EVERY system I have because it uses WAY TOO MUCH processor and  it was launching by itself in the background on my Win 8 machine. I won't tolerate that out of ANY software.

  • Linux - after update to firefox 5 64-bit flash player stopped working

After updating firefox 5 (from stable repo) the flash player stopped working.
I have had installed the adobe flash player square (64 bit) - by following http://queleimporta.com/en/finally-adobe-releases-native-64-bit-flash-10-for-linux/ ...
The .so library is still on its place(/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so), though firefox does not seem to have flash player installed.
before update to firefox 5 it worked
    system is Xubuntu 10.04

Finally I've found out that it's possible to install flash from lucid repositories (which works... named 'flashplugin installer')... I've never noticed that before... So sorry for asking stupid question and thanks to anyone who spend some time even only by reading this thread.
//EDIT: so question 2 - how to tag the topic as solved? :)

  • Flash player stops working after a few days.

I'm recently having issues with flash player on IE and Firefox each time a new version is released. This time the flash player stops working after a few days without any reasons. I have asked two other questions and I have tried the solutions but this time they are not working:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4617987#4617987
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4548211#4548211
Could anyone tell me what the reason is?
I also need links providing Flash player for IE and Firefox which are always updated. I need to first download the installer then install it offline not install it directly from adobe website.
Please help me solve this once forever!

  • My flash player stops working after a reboot.

My flash player stops working after a reboot. i have flash 12.0.044 installed on a dell laptop with windows 7. The flash works fine until the next day when I restart my computer. If I go to control panel / programs and features I notice that the program is still there but the icon has turned blank. If I re-install it works fine until the next reboot. I have asked the IT services company we work with and they have completely ‘rebuild’ my computer. (Installed new windows etc etc) and still the problem won’t go away.  I am at a loss. Who can help? Thank you so much in advance. Duncan

    Adobe Flash player stops working?

    Welcome to the Adobe Forums.
To better assist you with this issue we need to know:
What is your operating system? (Windows or Mac) (XP, Vista, 7, 8)
What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)

  • Adobe Flash Player stop working...

For some reason Adode Flash Player recently stop working. I uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player 4 times however to no avail. I have the latest version (14.0.0.176) on my PC (Windows 64bit). I've noticed that others have also had a problems with getting Flash Player to work. Did Adobe make a major change that I'm not aware of. Any assistance with resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot see HTML5 video, but non-HTML5 still works for me.  Is this true for you, also?

  • Flash player stopped working in safari

I have just noticed that flash has stopped working on my mac in safari, i have tried uninstalling using the uninstaller from adobe and reinstalling flashplayer 9 but it still wont work, anyone else having problems or know of a fix?

    Worked for me at least...
"I had a similar problem with a few image types. The fix for me was to go into SYSTEM PREFERENCES > QUICKTIME > ADVANCED, click on MIME SETTINGS and then USE DEFAULTS.
I dunno if it broke more than it fixed, but everything started working again and I've noticed no adverse affects. I think, for me, a recent flash player update messed up a few mime settings.
In any case, I hope this helps! "

  • Flash player stopped working. Used to be fine.

Flash player has stopped working on some websites where it used to work fine (such as playing video on Comedy Central). I get a solid black square where the video should be. No error message.
I have made no change whatsoever to the computer other than updating everything to the latest version, exactly like you're supposed to do. Apparently, disabling video capability is some rocket scientist's definition of 'upgrading'.
I have now found that Flash Player will work if I create an entirely new Windows account (as instructed here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071 )
    So, what do I do?
Here are the other things I've tried. None worked.
    - restart Firefox in Safe Mode, with all add-ons disabled
    - create a brand new Firefox profile
    - uninstall all Flash from the computer entirely, using Adobe's uninstaller; then reinstall
    - downgrade to Flash 10.3 - not just in Firefox but also in Internet Explorer and Opera
    Win 7 Pro 64-bit
    Firefox 13

I have the very same problem. Ever since upgrading to 24.0 I can no longer view YouTube videos on Firefox. I have no trouble with other browsers (IE and Chrome) and I can view the Flash home page. I've tried the suggestions and they do not work. Please fix!!

  • Flash player stopped working, followed threads, has not helped, any suggestions??

    HI,
Im using vista home basic,on a note book i got last year. the flash player was working fine until last week, at that time i updated to ie 8 and flash 10.
The player hasnt worked since. The playback is very choppy, just a series of fotos realy. The settings dont respond. Also it freezes the page into wich it is embedded.and the rest of the system to a lesser extent.  ihave followed the instructions about reinstalling and using the uninstaller, ensuring that i reboot inbetween. no difference. its a 32bitoperating system with 1gb of ram. I understand that flash wont work in  64bit ie, ive looked under the help on ie and as it doesnt mention that its 64 i understand that means it must be 32? ,,,,I realy hope you can help!!!  going off on a bit of a tangent,,, but this 'failure' of flash is realy quite scary! it makes you realise just how entrenched it is in every day life! its like the end of civilisation! no facebook,,,no utube, no online news!!! helllllllllp!

    hey thanks for reply,
    Deep breath!!!
Ok these are the files that are in the flash folder.
    flash10e.ocx
    flashuntil 10e
    install
    uninstall active x
I opened the manage add ons, there is no mention of flash at all.
I deleted all my add on tool bars.
I did install firefox, hence all this trouble. when i decided to go back to ie. and reinstalled it,,,thats when all problems started.
    Thanks

  • Flash player stopped working

    Hello
I'm using Windows 7 professional with IE9 and Firefox 16.
After flash player has been upgraded to version 11. It has been stopped working normallywith Firefox but still OK with IE.
In Firefox, it's working fine in some sites ie. facebook, youtube but not working in some certain sites such as your verify version page http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
Flash works in the above page in some occasions but mostly not.
However, flash stopped working in IE today for unknown reason.
I've followed your troubleshooting but everything has been set properly.
I also tried to uninstall and reinstall flash several times with no luck.
However, it's still working fine with IE9 64 bit.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated
    Thanks

I see only a grey box or a dark square instead of flash content.
However, the problem with firefox has been resolved after I disabled harware acceleration in the general tab of advance option in tool menu
of firefox (not in the option of flash player). Please consider adding this option into your troubleshooter.
For IE problem, it seems to be the conflict with javascript since everything requring avascript to run in my IE doesn't work eventhough
the javascript is set to be enabled. I might reinstall IE to solve this problem.
    Thanks

  • Adobe Flash Player stops working whenever Flash or Rich Media content is loaded.  Can anyone help?

Whenever I launch a browser, I get a message telling me "Adobe Flash Player 11.5 r502 has stopped working."  Additional message says Data Execution Prevention has closed Flash Player.   I have tried all the applicable fixes suggested on the Flash Player help page (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html).
Flash Player version: 11.5.502.135  and .146
OS: Vista Home Prem, sp2, 32-bit
Browser: Firefox 18.0 and IE 9
    Anyone else have this problem?

1st)    Click on the apple at the top left corner of your screen. Fourth option down, system preferences click this. Once system preferences opens up adobe flashplayer should be listed on the very bottom row, click this. Once adobe preferences are open make sure you are on the storage tab (listed accross the top), make sure "allow site to save information on this computer" is bulleted. Next click on the "local storage settings by site...". Once you click that, check to see if youtube.com is listed in the box. If not then click the + symbol at the bottom left. Manually enter www.youtube.com. Close out of everything.
2nd)    Launch safari, look to the very top left corner of your screen. You'll see the word "Safari" just to the right of the Apple logo, click on this and go down to preferences. Next, go to the security tab accross the top. Make sure there is a tick/check mark in the "Allow Plug-ins" option. If it is, click "Manage website settings...". Then on the left-hand column select Flash Player. Then off to the right-hand pane, make sure that youtube.com is listed and that its set to Allow. Quit and re-open Safari.
All of these steps or at least some portion of this should get it operational. If not, post back... more things we can do.

  • Adobe flash player stopped working properly

I just purchased a new laptop with windows 7, 9 days ago, and I keep getting a notice that adobe flash player has stopped working properly. My laptop has windows 7 and I use ie8 and of course is a 64bit.  I play Farmville alot and have had constant notices that flash player has stopped working properly. I don't know if it is the creator of Farmville but playing the game is choppy, hangs, freezes, and am constantly getting error messages like Microsoft runtime library
I have checked the add ons and flash player is enabled. I followed the troubleshoot a problem and uninstalled and then reinstalled flash player but still have problems.  Any help is appreciated.
