Acrobat XI and Adobe Reader XI require the Flash Player plugin to be installed in order to handle rich media content.  You can download it from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#mai n-pars_header

  • How to activate Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0?

    Hi,
I do have a valid serial number for Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0. I am using a Tryout version of it. When I launch Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0, it does not give me that option (to enter the serial number). Thanks for your help.

Adobe customer support had earlier told me to go to forums on adobe.com. The reason they gave me they do not support Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0. The representative told me Forums on adobe.com do support Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0. ???

  • Scanning in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8

I have Windows XP - Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 - a Brother MFC-465CN printer scanner. When I want to create a .pdf from the scanner the Adobe program closes down. No error message. I can scan in other programs such as Photoshop etc.

Hi Bob,Acrobat Professional 8 only support Twain-Compliant devices, while the HP printer only support Apple's ICA compliant application. As a reference you may find the following article from Adobe:Acrobat has ICA support on MAC 10.7 for now with Acrobat XI onlyhttps://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-scanning-problems-acrobat-8.html You may scan using Image Capture or the HP Scan application, then open / import the scanned file into Adobe. You may find the Scanning specifications listed below, a Twain-compliant software interface only available for Windows:http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Deskjet-1050-All-in-One-Printer-series---J4/4027462/model/4027464/document/c02063036/ You may find any steps to scan with your printer in the following link:http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Deskjet-1050-All-in-One-Printer-series---J4/4027462/model/4027464/document/c03548786/ Regards,Shlomi

  • Does Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 works fine on Windows 2008 64-bit R2 server?

    Hi,
Currently, we use Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1 on Windows 2003 server.  We mainly use the Distiller to convert PDF files.
If we migrate the 2003 server to Windows 2008 64-bit R2 server, does version 8.1 works fine?
If not, which version support Windows 2008 64-bit R2 server?
    Appreciate to have a feedback.

As long as you are looking to use it for local use only, and not as part of the server, I suspect it does work. AA X is the first that was certified for operation on Server 2008, but still only for local use. Any server use is a violation of the license. If you have Server 2008, why not just try it -- but be sure to abide with the license. Be sure to install the updates with the 64-bit system.

  • Unable to download Adobe Acrobat Professional

I tried to download Adobe Acrobat Professional's 30 day trial
on the Adobe website, but when I clicked "download," I received an
error message that said "user not authorized to use this page, this
is an attempt to debugg." Please check your coldfusion settings or
search the knowledge base." Then when I logged in to my e-mail and
clicked on the link to see if I could download there instead, I
received a page that said "page does not exist." I went to the
support center on Adobe, but they were not able to help me. Are
there any other options that may help me so that I can download the
    software?

I'm trying to download Adobe Acrobat 3D version 8, when i select the English, and try to dowload it takes me to another page saying Sorry, this page is not available   Error returned: 404.
Adobe sent me an email with this link to download http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat%5F3d&vk=22ECD3876CE2

  • Can't activate Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0

I re-installed Adobe Acrobat Professional and cannot activate it. Adobe says it is a stale product and no longer supported. They said download 22020134.exe and provided a serial number. It does not work.

    Please see http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l
If you already did that (and be sure to use the NEW serial number with the NEW download) tell us what "do not work" means, please.

  • Adobe acrobat professional 7.0 installieren

    Hi All!
I had purchased Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 some years ago and have now been forced to migrate to a new PC. When I now follow the instructions of the Adobe-Website (deinstall all CR2 and Adobe-products, download the exe-file and enter the rgistration code from the website), I remain without success: Upon starting Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 on the new computer, the following
    message appears:
The Adobe Helpline was just a line, but no HELPline, as they mentioned in a astonishing arrogant way that the product is seven years old and they don't support ist. From my point of view, being a professional writer, I just can't afford to pay another 650 Euros for a Adobe Acrobat Professional 11.0.
    Can someone help me, please?
    Thank you
    Gerhard

Schau lieber was Du schreibst.

  • Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0

Per a service rep, as Adobe Acrobat 7.0 is no longer supported, I downloaded the current CS2 program for Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 and the correct serial number to use with this version.
I installed the program, but get the following error message:
Warning 20225:   Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Setup was unable to create a new item: Adobe PDF Port_Printer.  The Adobe Printer may be unavailable.
    GetLastError:      The operation completed successfully.
As being able to create pdf files from other programs is an important part for using Adobe Acrobat, is there a fix being developed for this?

Bill, I purchased a new computer last week running Windows 8.  I strongly suspect this is the issue, but don’t want to spend $500 to purchase the latest version of Acrobat.  I would look at other lost cost programs first.

  • Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 Problem

I installed CS3 on my MacBook about a month ago. When I try to view something using Adobe Acrobat Professional, it comes up but then it goes away and a box says I need to open up at least one more Adobe program for it to work. Even if I try opening Photoshop or Illustrator or something, it still won't work. Any help would be appreciated!

Acrobat is not an Apple product. You should post your question on Adobe's forums:

  • Is Flash Player Supported in Windows 7?

Is the most recent version of Flash Player supported in Windows 7?

An FYI for anyone thinking of installing the Flash player on Windows 7:
Installing the Firefox version of Flash was easy. Installing the Internet Explorer version was more difficult. The Adobe website crashes Internet Explorer 8.
The only way to install the Flash player (and the Shockwave player) on Internet Explorer 8 is to set Internet Explorer to Compatibility mode.
Note: I am using the Release Candidate (build 7100) of Windows 7. The problem I described may be fixed by the time Windows 7 is released to general availability.

I have tried to purchase Adobe Acrobat Professional XI this morning and payment (AED 1983.53) has been taken, I received a message stating there was/is a problem processing my order and that I should contact your customer service team in UAE.  Having tried this, I was met with a recorded message, in Arabic, and no options to speak to anyone.  I have found this process extremely frustrating and poor on your behalf.  Not providing any options to speak to an Adobe representative is equally annoying.  Please get back to me ASAP, as I need to use the product immediately.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back.  So probably won't run on modern operating systems.  If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

  • Problem in creating PDF of Website using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.

I am trying to create PDF file of full website using "Create PDF from Web Page..." option, in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.
It is creating PDF but the page alignments/text/images alignments are lost and doesn't look good.
Can any one help to create the PDF same as webpage look and feel.
    Thanks.

Acrobat 8's HTML->PDF engine is quite old and doesn't work well with modern web pages. I'd recommend trying the same page using Acrobat X (trial available) where the engine has been replaced and modernized.
