Flash player to add music to websites

I"m really new at this.  Need to add music to the 3 websites I built.  They are up and running. They were built with CSS & XHTML code. IF I download Flash Player how will I add my music file?  I want my visitors to be able to stop music, and/or pause.  (my boss wants it to autoplay when home page opens). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Adobe flash player to add audio player and playlist on website

    Hi there,
I used Adobe Flash Player to add videos to the VIDEOS page of a website. I imported the videos one by one in flash and then chose a skin from the wizard and all went well.
Now, I have an "AUDIO" page where I'm supposed to add a player and a playlist of audio files... can I do that using Adobe Flash Player as well? If yes, how?
    Thanks!

to be more precise, I want to put something like on this page:

  • Why does say"To play the selected item, you must install a later version of the Adobe Flash Player. To download the Adobe Flash Player, go to the Adobe website." when I have the latest Version of it and it's just Black screen with no audio and Video?

  • Flash Player pops up on every website I search using Explorer

About a week ago, every time I opened Explorer, a box appeared from Internet Explorer Security stating "a website wants to open web content using this program (Adobe Flash Player), on your computer.  Allow or Not Allow".  Doesn't matter if I allow, not allow or just click on the red X to close out, the box continues to reappear.
I have uninstalled all Adobe programs and reinstalled them after disabling my Antivirus and Firewall settings.  After installations were complete I enabled my settings again and ran a scan on the new programs.  This did not solve the problems as said box continues to reappear.  I have also had Adobe Shockwave Player do the same thing.  I also attempted to restore to an earlier time of 2 weeks before this problem started but my computer would not allow me to restore back to that point.  I am also not able to download videos using my realplayer or windows media player, which I 'assume' requires the Adobe features.  Can you please help?   Thank you.

    Hi Pat,
Thank you for your response.  I checked Explorer and my setting is at medium high, just as it has always been.  I have disabled all of my add-ons and now don’t have the problem of the boxes continually popping up but now I am unable to download videos and music.  Could it be that Explorer is corrupt and should I reinstall it?  How do I uninstall it?  Appreciate your help.

  • Flash player crashes on certain videos/websites.

I have no idea why but when i try to load a video on some video sites my browser crashes. Ive tried it in Firefox and IE and both of them crash. For example www.liveleak.com crashes for me. If i want to watch a video like this http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ac6_1242783089 everything on the page will load up except the video player. As soon as it tried to load the video player it crashes.
Another website the same thing happens on is www.ebaumsworld.com. For example http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/80638734/ everything loads fine except the video/video player. It doesn’t have a chance to load the video player before it crashes. Ive disabled my flashplug in and the websites will load fine (well with no video)
Other websites such as youtube.com work fine. I have no idea what i causing these problems. I have uninstalled + reinstalled flash correctly 6 times now and still no luck.
Maybe some relevance. I updated my windows messenger live to the newest version and this crashes during the sign in process. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on + how to fix it.
    -Many thanks.

I posted earlier in this thread. Flash continues to crash regardless of browser, though I have settled on Chrome as when flash crashes it only drops that element out of the webpage rather than dropping the whole browser.
I believe I have found a solution! I have an ATI 4650 HD card and I was setting up hardware HD video decoding and came across a post about Flash 10.1 Beta, that allows compatible video cards to use hardware acceleration for embedded flash apps. After downloading and installing I have not experienced another crash, when normally I would have between 5-10 by now.

    I downloaded the prerelease.

  • Flash player not working on certain websites. Help?

Ok, so my flash player works for just about every site, with the exception of two so far: the Cosmos website and the Zero Punctuation website. The videos there just appear black. The player works everywhere else I've tried.
I'm currently using Chrome on Windows 7 and this problem only just popped up this week.
Any help would be much appreciated!

The first thing I would check if your video driver is up-to-date: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

  • Adobe Flash player not loading on most websites but loads fine on youtube.

I read as much articles about this as I can. I cleared my browser cache, deleted cookies, disabled fire-fox addons, disabled Kaspersky, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash using the uninstall tool from adobe website, deleted that cpl file and exe programs from macromedia folder.  its all gone. reinstalled Flash, still same problem. Updated to the most recent version, autoupdated, still nothing.
Flash won't load on websites like Gametrailers, ign, BBC, livestream, CNN and msn websites.
I can only see video, perfectly, clearly and very nice only on youtube. It wont even load on any other website, it just shows a black screen where the video would show. It doesnt ask me to update either. I try tinkering with the settings like hardware acceleration but whenever I switch it around, it reverts back to being on. I check global settings and delete all I can on that and still nothing. It just seems like my flash player is out to piss me off.  I've had this problem for a good 2-3 months and I'm thinking this problem will just go away but of course that's a dumb idea.
I'm upset. I dont know what to do.

Can you try to disable Hardware Acceleration to see if the problem goes away; see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/891337
If it does go away, update the device drivers for your display adapter; see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

  • Have a flash player problem when visiting my website

I'm sorry, I did not know where to ask this question, so I tried my luck here. Anyhow, me and my fiance own this website about prom dresses where we find some dresses around the web and write reviews about them. But some of our friends told us we have some kind of weird flash problem on our webpage. Perhaps, some of you more knowledgable guys can take a look and see if they are right? I've tried visiting my website from a number of computers and mobile phones, but never encountered any kind of problem. But I'm not very into technology and would like you advice very much.
Here is the website in question: [sketchy link removed] and here is the web page they have said they had flash player issues: [sketchy link removed]

Unfortunately, technical forums are popular targets for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watering_Hole attacks, and I'm not going to risk it to go debug your website for you.  I wish that we lived in a world where we could keep our doors unlocked, but there you go.
There's excellent documentation available for how to embed Flash content on your website, and we really recommend that you use SwfObject (below):
swfobject - SWFObject is an easy-to-use and standards-friendly method to embed Flash content, which utilizes one small…
A cursory Google search for "embedding Flash" should turn up a number of tutorials that will help you out.

  • What version of flash player should be installed on website?

Not very saavy with building site, looking for recommendations on what is the least problematic version of flash player. Site is  www.legacygroupbuilders.com  Thanks!

    Hi Thomas,
Flash Player is installed on the individual's pc, not on the website.  If you have Flash content on your site, then visitors to that site need to have Flash Player installed to view the content.  Depending on your content, you may require your visitor's have a specific version of Flash Player installed to view the content.
BTW, https://www.legacygroupbuilders.com/ returns a 'web page not available' error on Chrome, and connection time out on Firefox attempting to get to it.

Funny you mentioned that analogy... because John the Baptist was a heavy drinker... (could steve jobs be secretly accessing flash content on his ipad?)

  • Why dont' my flash player works anymore on certin websites

It works great on you tube .It works great on  windows player internet radio. It works great on porn tube. But it no longer works onlive365 radio.the stations just loads .but never loads in and comes on.It don't works on xhamsters.com any more niether the same as live 365 .Just loads in.It's been this way since monday 12/17/12. I contacted help from live 365 and they claim it was not coming from them .They even put the blame on me.The same with the other help .Both have a option of buying a commercial free version of their web, without advetisements or commercial interuptions.I get asneaky suspicion that they might be doing this un porpusley to get to by premeium service.Evidence on I.e 9 a big advertisement labeled live365 rich media ad covers the whole webpage and player .No way to click it out.So the problem of not loading in is on Googles chrome .Originally firefox, unitl I deleted it out,. I.e. 9, which is now blocked by a big ad covering up the whole website.Could someone help me on this? I want tto get these stations back on

Try switching Chrome's version of Flash Player to your system copy to see if that helps.
Enable system Flash Player in Google Chrome | Windows | Mac
Alternatively,  give Firefox or Opera a try again to see if that makes a difference.

  • Flash Player Loads But Music Does Not

Example: On Myspace pages the flash player will load but it
never plays the music. It simply says "Loading..." and never
changes. I have another computer sitting right next to this one on
the same network that loads them fine so I know it's not a firewall
    issue. Please help!
Update: If I let it sit long enough it will eventually say
"Error Downloading Music" where the "loading..." message was
before. I can't seem to get specific information on the error
    though.
