Flash Player usually works, but some things will not work.

I've had a strange problem ever since I installed Windows 7 on my computer. Flash player almost always functions properly but does not work on a few specific things such as the music player on Myspace. The player shows up on any artists page but when I click the play button it changes to pause like normal then in about half a second it pauses the song and switches back to the play icon. I can press the play button again and it just does the same thing over and over again. It will pause the song and only play for about half a second between pauses.
Another example is when I go to nikeid.com I can load the first flash page and select my language, then it goes to a loading screen where squares fade in and out but it will not go beyond that page. I can get passed the page on any other computer I've ever tried.
Also, sometimes photo viewers that use flash will not display the photos properly. They will be off to one side and you can't see the photo.
These same problems happen for me on multiple browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. I've tried reinstalling Windows 7, and reinstalling Flash multiple times. I did not have any of these problems when I was using Windows Vista on this computer. On a final note I am using Windows 7 64bit but I am absolutely positive I am using 32bit web browsers when I am browsing the web. These things worked fine on Vista 64bit.

I don't know any of the websites you mention, so I don't know what should or should not be happening on there. Also are you sure they use Flash Player and not Shockwave Player?

Let's start with iTunes.
Have you updated iTunes to 11.1.5, because the previous version did appear to have an issue about seeing iPods?
With iTunes 11.1.5 installed, look in Edit/Preferences/Devices, (or use the ALT key, followed by the E key and then the F key) and make sure that the box named Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically does not have a tick in the box.
Once you have doen those two things, check to see if the iPod is seen by iTunes.

OS stands for Operating System. (In computer speak, IO means Input/Output.)
iOS originally stood for iPhone Operating System, but it now refers to the iPod Touch and iPhone. The iPod Classic, which you have listed in your profile as your iPod, does not use iOS.
I assume that you have been listening to the Podcast in your iTunes on the computer as you cannot transfer it to your iPod. It's what I'd do.

Installed Mavericks and latest iWorks and some fonts will not work. Strangely these fonts work in Notes and old version of Strickies. Any ideas?

Old 32-bits Windows programs usually run fine with WINE, of which I warmly recommend the "PlayonMac" version (free).

Transferred CS4 to new MacBook Pro, now some fonts will not work when PDFing documents from InDesign CS4. Help!

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro. I transferred my CS4 from my older MacBook Pro to my new computer, and although it seemed to be working fine now some fonts will not work when PDFing documents from InDesign CS4. These fonts are installed on my new computer, can be found in InDesign CS4, and work fine within the program but will not appear in PDFs. The letters turn into rectangles. Does anyone know why, and how to fix that?
Help/input would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I recently upgraded to Flash Player 11.4x and now videos will not play in Yahoo.

I have Windows XP Home Edition SP3 and Internet Explorer 8 on an x86 pc. Everything worked just fine until the upgrade. Also Hulu.com free version videos don't work properly in full screen mode. Not sure whether that is related.

Let me give you my latest observations:
Until today, I had not even heard of a reference to 'HTML5' videos. (I now realize that HTML videos have been around for quite a while, I'm just not a video junkie.) And interestingly, until today, whenever I got a blank video screen on Yahoo News or others, it would only tell me to update to the latest Flash Player and suggested nothing else.
Well, I had already upgraded to the latest version Flash Player mentioned above, but my system does not seem to recognize that fact. Perhaps it did not load properly. I have tried 4 times without (apparent) success.
Now also, the blank video screens mention updating to a 'HTML5 browser'. I have Internet Explorer 8, not 9 or above, so I opted to install Google Chrome Frame per the article (which also indicates that this is a trial situation). I rebooted and retried, but that did not work either.
I have not yet uninstalled Flash Player to rule it out as causing the HTML5 problem.
I also did not disable Hardware Acceleration in Flash per the article because nothing showed up in the box to click on. Blank box, no icon.
I had previously tried to download an archived Flash .zip file to my desktop but could not get it to unzip and install properly (I have done this many times before on other files), so I gave up.
And, lastly, just what exactly do you mean about 'browser updates'? Are you refering to a 'version' of Internet Explorer 8 or to other software updates?

you cannot use your pc license to install on a mac. you would need a separate license (and serial number) for that.
adobe allows platform swaps, but only with the latest (xi) version, Order product | Platform, language swap
your option to use acrobat on a mac are to upgrade to acrobat pro xi and change platforms, use a windows emulator (parallels/boot camp etc) on your mac or swap with a third party.

Have you tried ALL the troubleshooting steps? If you have and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible exchange.

As I said, I really do not want to change my email address because it is my work email.
I am a freelance professional and all my clients have been using this mac address for over ten years.
New clients arrive all the time through word of mouth, i.e. old clients who pass on my emial address to people who also need my services. Unfortunately a lot of business works this way, so I would lose lots of clients if I changed my email address. But I guess Apple doesn't know, or doesn't care, about how business works for other people (as long as they're making loads of money from products made by suicidal, slave-driven Chinese workers).
Why are Apple saying you can use iCloud on a PC when this is clearly not the case?
Why didn't they warn me that from one day to the next, the email address I've been using for a decade wouldn't work anymore? I've already lost so many work hours trying to sort this out.
I don't want an iPhone as my new HTC has a better CPU, a larger, higher-resolution screen, more memory, more powerful antennas, a better camera, it's lighter, etc., etc,; iPads are over-priced and more or less useless for my needs; and I already have three laptops and two desktops so I'm not buying an iBook o iMac just for the sake of it.
And with this attitude of Apple's, I'm hardly enthusiastic about buying anything from them anyway. So much for customer care. I feel abandoned and vaguely blackmailed by Apple.
