Install it directly from Adobe. Ensure that you use the uninstaller before installing.

You can only use apps downloaded from the App store, not via a browser. There is no Flash for any iOS device including the iPod.

  • I AM UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD FLASH PLAYER 10.3. A TECH DOWNLOADED FLASH PLAYER 10 PLUG IN LAST WEEK.

DO I NEED BOTH?  WHEN I TRIED TO WATCH A VIDEO ON MY E-MAIL I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO DOWNLOAD FLASH PLAYER.  WHEN I TRY TO DOWNLOAD IT NOTHING HAPPENS.  I HAVE WINDOWS VISTA AND I AM USING IE9 WHICH THE TECH ALSO DOWNLOADED FOR ME.  SINCE MY CALL I GET A BOX WITH A SCRIPT ERROR ON NEARLY EVERY PAGE.

Hi, I am back and can see clearly.  I have not experienced the error box while moving the pointer.  I do have some examples for your review.  I will start with what happens when I start a session.  I click on IE and get the error box.  I click on red "X".  Comcast.net is my home page and the Tab is trying to take me there.  The symbol showing that it is running is turning but will not connect.  Next I click on the "X" on the address bar.  This stops the TAB. Now I click on the Refresh and I get my home page without any error box.
    Examples
    1.  The animalrescuesite.com
From e-mail.  I am helping to provide food for animals and it doesn't cost me.  If you are interested I encourage you to go to the site and sign up.  You will get an email each day and it takes less than thirty seconds to do.  When I open there is no error box.  When I click on "click here" I get the error box.  To close I click on the red "X". I then click on purple box "click here to give".  No more error boxes backing out of the site.
From address bar there is no error box on page 2.
    2.  bestwestern.com
From e-mail.  Same as example #1. no error box on page 1.  When I click on "book now" I get error box.  I click on red "X" and then no more error boxes while in the site.  I clicked on each tab.  Also no error boxes while backing out of site.
From address bar there is no error box on page 2.
    3.  Any e-mail with video link.
When I click on the link I get the error box. After I click on the red "X" the video starts.
I hope this helps.   Also I wanted to get your take on me uninstalling the fire fox and when.  I am ready to compose my e-mail to Adobe.  Do you want to see it before I send it.  You might offer an insight that I miss.

I can't access most internet pages because I don't have adobe flash player for my powerbook and the download doesn't seem to work?

The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to FP requireing an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I fould a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

  • After upgrading to foxfire 11, I am having trouble with adobe Adobe Flash Player - Ver 10.1. I downloaded and nothing is viewable

After upgrading Foxfire 11 on my vista software, Adobe Flash Player - Ver 10.1. I downloaded and nothing is viewable. I have unchecked all security and my computer says it is updated and everything that I use in foxfire says the plugin are missing or to download the flash player. I am so frustrated I do knot know what to do.

Try downloading and installing the latest Flash Player from [http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe]

  • Downloaded Flash Player many times, still prompted to download

Every time I try to watch a video, I get a prompt to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (11.7-something).  I have done this repeatedly over the past several days but still get the prompt.  I already have Chrome downloaded on my computer.  I tried uninstalling my Flash version, rebooting my computer and this is just getting repetitious because nothing works.  I'm wasting way too much of my time just trying to get this to work.  What's going on?
How can I get my computer to hold the update I've taken the time to run.
Do I have to use Chrome now, not Internet Explorer, every time I want to watch a video?  I do not like to use Chrome.

Thanks for your reply.  My computer says the Flash Player 11.7... is installed, so why can't I view videos when I am in Internet Explorer?  How do I find out which Windows (7 or 8) I have?

Hi, Sorry to hear about the challenges that you face. Adobe Flash Player is directly integrated with Google Chrome and is enabled by default. Window 8 + Internet Explorer 10 also comes with integrated Flash Player. So you need not do any installation or updates for Google Chrome or Window 8 +IE 10 combo. But for other OS versions and browsers, you need to update (automatically or manually based on your installation setup) Flash Player.  If you are facing installation issues, please refer to the following pages:http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-faq.htmlhttp://helpx.adobe.com/flash-p layer/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-windows.htmlhttp://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-mac.html Hope the above helps. With regards,Prabhu

  • I have a 2008 macbook and everything is to date except Adobe Flash player which I can no longer download. When i try, it will not allow me to push "install." Is there another product I can use or is there a way to install this? I am using Firefox 4.0 btw.

For some reason my adobe flash player will not load or reinstall. I keep getting a screen from adobe that says quit or intall but there is no button for the install to push. Only the quit is useable. I want to be able to view video but can't. Does this have to do with Firefox 4? I have deleted multiple unable to be downloaded installs or misinstalls of adobe flash player. Help!

  • What is causing Flash Player to crash shortly after I download and install the latest version

It only normally lasts a day or two, but the last time it crashed on the first use the same day I downloaded and installed it. I am running Windows 7 Home Edition with Firefox as my browser, and I have Bitdefender antivirus as well as MalwareBytes anti malware installed and active. As far as I can tell Flash Player is the only program affected this way. Is there any other substitute player I can install that works as a plugin to Firefox and won't crash the day it's installed?

When I used to see this with Win 7 it was because the Shockwave player (not Flash) was outdated.
To make sure you're up to date for both, download the following:
    Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
    Also, download these:
    Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Shockwave Player 12 FULL installer (ther browsers)
Save all the files and close your browser.
Run the uninstallers first (both of them)
    Go to: C/Windows/System32
    Delete the Macromed folder.
Go to: C/Windows/SysWOW64 (if your Windows is 64 bit)
    Delete the Macromed folder.
Open your Registry Editor (Start>Run or press the Windows key + R and type 'regedit' [minus the quotes] and click OK)
In the Registry Editor, go to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE
Delete the Macromedia folder (Right click and choose "Delete").
    Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software and delete the Macromedia folder there too.
Close the Registry Editor and empty your recycle bin.
Run the Flash Player installer, and then the Shockwave FULL installer.
Worst case: If that doesn't stop the crashes, try resetting Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems

  • In eBay & YouTube, I get the message to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player; I have gone through the download and installation procedure several times, but still get the same message - why can't I install the latest version on Firefox?

In eBay, I was trying to upload pictures when I got this message: "You need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to use the standard picture uploader.
Download and install the latest version from Adobe before continuing."
In YouTube, when trying to watch a video, I got this message: "You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video."
I have gone through the procedure for downloading and installing the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, but still get the same messages when I reopen Firefox and revisit these sites.
There does not seem to be the same problem with Safari, which runs the latest version of Adobe Flash Player with no trouble.
I am using an iMac running Mac OS X Version 10.6.7.

You can find the latest Flash player for Firefox on this page.
For Firefox on 64 bit Windows, you need the 32 bit Flash version version because Firefox is a 32 bit application.

  • Adobe Flash player, when will be available for downloading, really frustrated

Adobe flash player, when will be available for mac, iPhone, iPad. I am really frustrated. My friends are posting each other comic moments with kids or holiday events and I am always left out because I have iPhone. Also, I am unable to watch live tv on iPad when my husband watching football as unable to view without flash player.
It seams like apple is a bit behind with some part of technology, when will be available for download
    Frustrated
    Rosie

It has never not been available for Mac.
It will very likely never be available for iphone/ipad/ipod.
Do a forum search.  This is dicsussed over and over and over and over and over and over and over again on these forums.
Adobe is working on a versin that will not require any download at all to watch flash content.

  • Trouble with flash player after i had virus and downloaded mcafee

I had a virus and had Mcafee come in and clean the virus out and then downloaded Mcafee and since i have not been able to use flash player i have downloaded and says it is downloaded but not working i have windows vista, can anyone help?

Hi, At that site that Pat provided the link, in Post#3 are the instructions for finding that Key. Try that again. You will just be looking for that Key and that info. Don't make any changes, just look.
Please report back what you found.
    Thanks,
    eidnolb
Also to help in this, go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash  Open Flash and let me know all files listed there.
Using IE, go to Tools, Manage addons and under "Show"(very light text) look in All addons or Run without Permission for the "Shockwave Flash Object". Is it Installed and enabled and what version number is listed?
    Thanks,
    eidnolb

  • Flash player License not readable, please correct download link

Hi, just wanted to download the latest version of Flesh player (Version 11.9.900.152), but the license which I shall agree to solely appears in Arabian language (see: http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/legal/licenses-terms/pdf/Fla sh%20Player_11.0.pdf). Please correct the link leading from
