Flash Player won't play videos in Chrome

Hello,
I installed FlashPlayer 17.0 and when I load a video, I get a black screen (a right-click shows "animation not loaded"). I submitted a bug in the database but it hasn't been checked. My graphic card drivers are up to date and I precise that I could watch Flash Player videos before. What could be the cause of this?

For instance, when I load the following page, the video won't show:

There isn't any error message as I explained in my message above.

I've installed Lion after which Flash Player won't play videos with Safari. I keep being prompted to download and install the latest version of Flash Player whcih I've done several times. Can someone please help me fix this.
I find Adobe's announcement that there are no issues with Flash Player and Lion a bit of a sick joke.

I only use flash for watching video clips on the BBC website so haven't been affected by these other issues. The text below is copied from the website at the above link. Hope this helps.
The Flash Player Settings dialog box doesn't respond to mouse clicks. As a workaround, press the Tab key to move to the Close button and press the spacebar to close the dialog box. While not all settings are available, you can also use the Flash Player native control panel in System Preferences.

Flash player won't play videos. (Mac OS 10.6.8, Firefox)

I recently upgraded to OS10.6.8, after which I installed newer version of Firefox and adobe flash player. For a while the flash was sort of working, although crashing quite often, and now it won't play any videos at all, I just get a blank box where the video player is supposed to be.
How 2 fix plz.

Flash player won't play on home pages

My flash player won't play on my browser's home pages. My OS is : windows 7 64 bit ultimate and my browsers are : Mozilla,Chrome, and IE. I have owned this machine since laborday 2012 and all of them worked in the begining. This has been going on for a couple of weeks and I would like to resolve it. Video works normally in places such as youtube,but will not run on the browsers home pages. The strange part of it is that it will run the advertisements,but after that is done it will just set there with the loading icon going for awhile until a message come on that states that the stream could not be found. I just got done checking each browser to see if the players are up to date and they all where current.. Don't know what else to try. Any suggestions ? Thanks

HT5271 Downloaded latest Apple updates that informed me old versions of Adobe Flash Player were disabled and advised me to go to Adobe and down load latest version of Flash Player. Did that, but Flash Player won't play swf files, which it did before.

Downloaded latest Safari update that informed me that older versions of Adobe Flash Player were being disabled and then advised me to go to Adobe and down load latest version of Flash Player. Did that, but Flash Player won't play swf files, which it did before. (Instead of opening, it comes up as a page of code).

Hi..
Quit Safari.
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Delete All
Now select the Storage tab.
Click Delete All
Relaunch Safari to test.

As far as i know iDevices don't support flash, at least Safari doesn't..

Flash player always stops playing videos on youtube and swiches back

Since the last update for the flash player the player always stops playing videos on youtube after a while and than player swiches back to the side for to choose videos. How to remove the problem?

Flash player won't play CNN video

Please help, I'm at my wits end. I've been working on this issue for a few weeks. I have Win7 / IE8 / FP 11.3.300.270
The problem is my flash player simply refuses to play videos from CNN. Everything else works fine. I've uninstalled and installed at least 100 times-nothing. I've set and reset all the settings suggested by Adobe.com-nothing. I've read and re-read forums in Google, Adobe and anything else I can find on the 'net-nothing.
This has become increasingly frustrating. Please help!!

I see the player open and all the periphreals load then I get a red circle in the middle of the player that says loading. When that stops the screen is just black-no video or sound...

I've just installed the latest Flash player on Mac 10.8.2 and when I try to play video on Safari 6.0.2, I'm only getting audio, no images – just a white screen. No problems with video on Chrome or Firefox, and when I uninstall Flash, Safari can play video. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Then just download from Adobe's site, OS X does not come pre-installed with Flash so if you're going to use Flash content you have to visit their website, download and follow the on-screen instructions. On a new machine chances are the caches are fine though. You didn't state that it was new so I had no idea. If for some reason you can't find the site it's

Adobe Flash Player Fails to Play Videos

Hi,
Although I have repeatedly uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Flash Player, I continually get asked by various websites to load it as if it were not there.
Most video clips will not play with the exception of some YouTube videos which ask me to load AFP but then do actually play the video.
I am running Windows 7 64bit on an HP computer.
Can someone please give an old pensioner a clue as to a possible reason why AFP will not work on my machine?

Adobe Flash Player will not play videos on a specific website.

I use windows 8.1 with a 64-bit operating system and and a x64-based processor. The browser is Firefox 35.0.1 and the Adobe Flash 16.0.0.305. When i attempt to view a video and a specific website the flash player displays its loading circle status before it would normally buffer but continues to load indefinitely and when i attempt to select a quality in the settings (which quality doesn't matter) the player displays a static like picture with he message: An error occurred please try again later, learn more. This has not changed since around 1pm EST. I can however watch YouTube videos without any such difficulty. What is your operating system & version?
What is your web browser?
You write that you downloaded it, but did you also install it?

Flash player 12 not playing with FF, Chrome

We are using an embedded flash player in our site http://www.vobolo.com . With the auto upgrade of Flash player ver 12, the player has stopped working. With downgraded ver 11.9, things are working fine.
Issue: When you click on the play button, the request is sent to the server side Adobe plug-in, but it does not start playing.

Even when I select "publish to Flash 9" it will only work on those machines that have Flash 10.
The Flash version that we have is 9.0.16

I'm curious to know what exact version of Flash 9 you have. Is it possible that we just happen to have the one or two Flash 9 versions that don't work with Captivate 5?? Like, if I had 9.0.17 than I wouldn't be having this problem?

The flash player loads but doesn't play. Also, I'm not sure if this
has anything to do with it but, the advertisements on the main page
of southparkstudios.com don't load, it just says "Internet Explorer
cannot display the webpage", and I believe they are also run with
flash. Also, the flash clips on the main page work just not the
full episode player.

You probably have the newest versions what you have to do is
'upgrade' their upgrade by getting an older version.
First do a full uninstall with this tool from adobe.

I suggest Flash Player 9 Release 45.
I had version 9.0.124.0 and had many problems with it, mainly
with streams.

Besides posting over on Google's forums, you might also want to try closing your browsers and deleting the following folder:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com
