Flash player wont finish youtube videos

I am running Windows 7 with IE9. Flash player will not finish youtube videos. It plays any video about halfway through and then it stops playing and skips to the next video on the list. This also happens in other websites that use flashplayer to play music/audio. It will play a song most of the way through and then stop before the song finishes. Please help I have searched online and cannot find anything about this sort of problem. I have cleaned out all caches, I have uninstalled flash player using the official flash player uninstaller and then reinstalled the latest version. I have even done a system restore to a point prior to this problem starting and nothing has fixed this. As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with my internet or with my computer hardware. Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player. I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform. If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing. You can verify this by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the menu.

When trying to view some youtube videos; a window would pop up saying "it needs adobe flash player is required for video play back get the latest flash player" but after downloading the file and during installation would have errors and will not installed.....tried to reboot and install again.....but still the same.
The othe thing I had noticed is when using a good Bose headset with mic the sound output would noticed the headset and then switch from headset to Internal speekers and headset.....thinking that there might be something wrong with the plug in port of the computer or the headset.....the headset works with no issues on my iPad so there must be something wrong with the computer.....tried to move the plugin around the port but no change....while the headset is plug in can hear a short clicking noise and the sound would get lost and back again......but with nothing plugin to the port there is no issue with the sound or mic.
Thanks for your feed back......it looks like I have two different issues one is a software issue and the outher is a hardware issue

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

After installing Mozilla Firefox 20.0 with Adobe Flash Player 11.6, YouTube videos won't load properly.

YouTube videos worked fine before installing Adobe Flash Player. When installed the screen flickers after one second, rewinds to the beginning, then plays normally. This doesn't occur when I use Internet Explorer. I have reinstalled both Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player many times but nothing seems to work . Thanks a lot "cor-el". I also suffered from the above issue. And after I disabled the protected mode by editing "mms.cfg" file the issue got resolved. Now flash player is working fine.

Windoes 8 flash player installed but youtube videos not working?

I brought a laptop that already came with windows 8 installed on it and adobe flash player. it says i have adobe flash player and there are no problems with it but when i play youtube videos its just instead of the box where the video should be its just black blox instead with not even the buffering sign or play button or anything. so how do i fix this?

If you right click on the black box, do you see a menu appear (displaying About Flash Player at the bottom)? Do you see the same behavior when using IE in either desktop or modern/metro mode? For details on these differences and a couple of other troubleshooting steps, please see this help doc:

Yes, I have the latest version installed. I finally discovered yesterday that evidently YouTube has made a change to their coding in the past week, and there is now a double entry of code that I must delete before the embedding works correctly ... at least until there is a fix. Thanks.

Flash Player Not Playing YouTube Videos bigger than 360p on IE10

Hi Guys
I've been playing YouTube videos on Internet Explorer 10 without a problem but today I suddenly cannot play any video higher than 360p. All I get is a black oblong box with no loading wheel or player controls. When I right click it says "movie not loaded". My Flash Player is version 11,9,900,117. I can still play 720p on Firefox or Chrome, although they do not seem as smooth as they used to (but that may just be my imagination).
Any ideas why and what I can do? All the research suggests it could be Flash Player but I appreciate this problem may not be directly Flash Player (I'm trying all the various forums to try and identify where the problem is).

Flash player wont finish downloading

hi.
i have had many tries at downloading the latest flash player with no luck,i realise this should be easy but it loads to about 50%and then asks me to close iexplore which i do by going to task manager and ending the process
i then click retry but download does not continue,maybe im not closing iexplorer correctly. can someone please offer some advice... regards ...guppsal.

I installed Firefox 23.0.1 and after that It asked me to install Flash Player Plugin to view videos on Youtbe. I installed Flash Player 11 Plugin and since then Mozilla started hanging/freezing intermittently. It hangs on those websites also where videos are not running.
I uninstalled Flash Player 11 Plugin and it works smoothly without it.

This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common reasons for Flash problems in Firefox:

Try troubleshooting the Flash plugin which is required for most YouTube cotent as well as other sites.
Quit Safari.
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Storage tab. Click: Delete All
Now uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Very important to uninstall first.
Launch Safari From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
Now try a video.
BTW... if you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.

You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.

I have the exact same problem and I am going in circles trying to install and use Flash Player. But nothing seems to work. Now I cannot watch ANY videos on Youtube, I cannot use Google Maps (Street View), Pandora Radio is kaput, and so.
I used to get the same notice:
You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.
But now I don't even get that. Just a black box and nothing else. This is ridiculous.

YouTube uses javascript to determine if Flash Player is installed and switches to HTML5 (MP4), which requires no plugin, if Flash Player isn't detected. Yahoo doesn't do that yet. Here's why this is important, especially if you're using IE11.
The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

Firefox 12 flash player not working with video on Facebook

Using Firefox 12, newest flash player 32 bit -- embedded video won't work on Facebook. I have tried another computer with XP SP3, completely removed firefox, flash, started in safe mode with add ons disabled, even created a new profile with no addons at all, and nothing seems to fix the problem. Video plays fine in Internet Explorer. That said, YouTube works fine so I don't think its a flash 'only' problem. (I right clicked on video to make sure flash was playing the video and not html 5.)

Is the Flash player loaded if you right-click that black box where the player should be?
Does it help if you try to "Disable the hardware acceleration" in the Flash Player?

Flash player wont work at all!

no matter what steps I do my flasher player wont work! It works for 1 day then it goes back to displaying a green screen for all videos on the net and wont play any of my videos on my computer uploaded from my phone. I have the lastest version but this still happens.
