Flash-plugin not working

Operating System is Linux (OEL) 5.5.
After upgrading browser to FIrefox 10.0.5, Adobe download site recommended Flash-plugin 11.2.202.236. Installed on Linux using 'rpm'. Started browser and entered 'about:plugin" which listed the shockwave flash plugin. BUT, when URL to the Adobe test page entered, the flash 'movie' did not display anything .. just blank box. I've deinstalled and reinstalled, and searched numerous websites for help .. but nothing helpful. PLEASE, help!

I first tried using 'rpm -Uvh flash-plugin-11.2.202.236-release.i386.rpm'
> this installed, then 'rpm -qa' did show the new version; but test page on adobe site didn't play.
I also tried untarring the 'install..tar' file, moved the .so file to home directory,
> but again, test page on adobe site didn't play.
So, going through your steps, first found 'firefox' binary:

In firefox, access 'about:plugins' provides this confirmation the plugin is there:

Shockwave flash plugin not working at all!! HELP

So, here is my problem, I have windows 8.1 64bit and running the latest mozilla firefox.
I've had a lot of problems with flash player (32bit), videos not working properly, loading very slow.. (i have fast internet, working good) then i updated flash and it totally stoped working.
Resetting Firefox does not work for me. Flash player is not working at all, so i had to uninstall it. i uninstalled both flash player and shockwave player. i tried having only flash player - still not working.
I've already tried these too:
-Uninstalling and re-installing flash player

-Turning off hardware acceleration in both Firefox and flash player
-i have updated all drivers on my computer
Still not working at all! WHY?

Flash plugin not working in main user acct

I installed the adobe flash plugin several times - nothing was working. Then, I took the advice of a previous poster and created another user account. The plugin is working perfectly under the other user account, but not under the main admin. I've also tried deleting the preferences, moving the preferences, resetting safari...etc. etc. I'm at my wits end!!

Please check that all web-content boxes in your main user account are checked in Safari Preferences>Security panel. If they are:
Uninstall Flash via the Adobe method. You can do this with this Adobe Uninstaller.
Next, download a current copy from here - in your case it would be the PPC version.
When done, Safari automatically opens to the Adobe Flash page confirming the plug-in was correctly installed.
Quit Safari and "repair permissions" using Disk Utility in the Utilities folder. If Safari crashes, still "repair permissions" before going on to the next suggestion.

Flash plugin not working after upgrade

firefox upgraded itself this morning, it has been running really slowly ever since! i unistalled and installed again and it is still the same, It has just said that flash was not up to date so i have installed flash again, but it does not appear to work!

Flash Player 12 works just fine with Snow Leopard. I have it on my server machine. No problems at all in Safari, Opera, Firefox.
Give it a "clean install" to make sure you've gotten the old plug-ins out and that the new ones are "allowed" by Safari.

For Firefox on 64 bit Windows, you need the 32 bit Flash version version because Firefox is a 32 bit application.

After Installing Beta 2 Flash Plugin Not Working

After I installed the Beta 2 the projects won't run because
the correct Flash Version is not recognized. I get the error:

Hehe, no I was not. I was clicking on the "Get Flash" link
that was displayed in the Flex Builder Start Page which takes you
to the normal Flash download page. I don't always read instructions
before diving in so I wonder if and where where this is documented
- I will look and see. Please note that also during the Flex
Builder installation the installer told me it was installing the

Flash Player not working in Firefox

Suddenly Firefox will not play flash player content called
when I play games online. It worked fine a few days ago.
When I click on the link, it opens the game page, but where
the game should appear, I see a blank black box. When I click on
the "Play online game" link I also get a large empty black box.
I am running Windows XP on an HP Pavilion ze2315us laptop. I
recently installed trial version of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro.
In efforts to fix the problem I tried the following:
Removed adblocker addresses that might conflict.
Checked blocked sites
Removed and reinstalled Flash Player.
Reinstalled Firefox.
Set folder options to use Firefox to open SWF files
All to no avail.
I tried the web site in IE. Had to download and install Flash
Player again but it works fine in IE.
Afterwards, it still did not work in Firefox.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed adobe flash-plugin 11.2.202.233
In Google Chrome I can see flash applications very well.
But in Firefox 11.0 flash does not work.
When I look in about:plugins I see:

Runtime error R6025 message after log on to Vista - Flash Card not working

I'm a newbie & would appreciate any advice.
I am getting a runtime error message R6025 when I log on to Windows Vista.
When I click out of the box I then get a message saying Toshiba Flash Card not working.
I cancel that and my laptop is ok except I don't know if the flashcard is working or not because I don't know what it does.

But I doubt this description would be useful for you or anyone here. It describes this error in Visual C++ and this is programming language.
However, I think you should simply reinstall the Value Added Package which you could download firstly from the Toshiba European page.
At first you have to remove the old Value Added Package from the system, then reboot the notebook and follow with new VAP installation.

Using OSX 10.8 DW CS6 when I click "live" it says "flash plugin" "not found".

Using DW CS6 when I click "live" it says "Flash Plugin was not found. To view Flash content in Live View install the Firefox Flash Plugin from www.adobe.com."
My default browser is Chrome. DW uses Chrome as the primary browser. (FFox is secondary.)
I do have Firefox and do not have Flash on it. I open Flash content Chrome, and I installed an HTML5 video viewer add-on in FFox (but haven't tried it yet).
I also have the Dreamweaver HTML5 Video View add-on, so why am I getting that message? Furthermore, the HTML code doesn't have any Flash objects. (The code is the source HTML from www.google.com page, without any changes.)
How do I make DW display the "Live" view of the code without giving me an error? (My end goal is to find out what google does when you enter something in the search box and hit the Enter key, actually, I'd like to see why the result of the search is displayed the way it is - default should be Web view, but Image view shows instead. I want Web to show!)

I'm sorry Phil, but you can't learn much from Google's source code because search engines are dynamically programed with behind-the-scenes code and content from databases that you can't see. You're just spinning your wheels here. If you want to learn how to make a search engine, I'd be happy to point you to some relevant PHP & MySql tutorials.

Why does flash player not work with facebook?

Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

This means you don't have the latest version installed. Update to 11.9.900.117, and Firefox will allow it: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
