Flash Pro CS5.5 crashes when duplicating Library
My CS5 flash keep on crash when duplicate 1 library moive/button or anything.
My CS5 cannot save file, if do so, it will crash on next time when opening.
For instance:
File name ABCD.fla = 1.64mb
without do any editing or adding library, JUST simple open ABCD.fla and immediate save as EFGH.fla
guess what:
File name EFGH.fla = 34mb
just open and save as different name can increase from 1.64 to 34mb????
Hi Tailgatepro,
Please zip your original fla document and change the .zip extension to .zzz. Email the .zzz file to us at [email protected]

I am finding that Flash Pro CS6 crashes when you try to paste an object from one FLA library to another.
This only seems to occur when the object contains a text object with an embedded font.

Premiere Pro CS5 crash when adjusting audio gain
Premiere Pro CS5 crash when adjusting audio gain
The same on another workstations.
Have any idea?Hi Dennis,
I just had a go and can reproduce the problem straight away too.
Created a new project then a new XDCAM EX 1080p25 sequence. Imported a short Sony PMW-350 clip. Dragging it straight to the timeline and then setting audio gain is OK (Source channel mapping preferences set to mono).
However, if I Modify - Audio Channels and then set track format as stereo or mono as stereo and then drag the clip to the timeline and right click - gain, Premiere crashes about 1/2 to 1 second after the audio gain dialogue box appears. Error log below if it's useful.
Asus Rampage III extreme
Intel i7 980x @ 3.33GHz
24Gb ram
Windows 7 64 bit
Using onboard sound - Realtek HD 6.0.1.6037
Incidentally, I tried with both the default Windows 7 audio drivers and then the Realtek HD drivers installed (I'd previously forgotten to install the Realtek driver when I built the PC)

Flash Pro CS5 crashes opening large-ish files
When I try to open any FLAs greater than 50Meg or so, I get "Could not open one or more scenes probably beacuse of low memory" dialog box. This dialog appears several times, then Flash crashes. The system has 4G total physical memory, and plenty (2 Gig+) of physical memory is free and available when the crash occurs.
The same files can be opened on a Mac running CS5. The files were originally CS4, but I tried using the Mac to save them in CS5 format, and the CS5 files also consistenyly fail to open.
I running a pretty fresh install of Windows 7 64 on a Dell Studio 1645 with an i7 Q820 processor with 4G RAM and oodles of free disk space. Flash Pro is part of a new install of Web Premium CS5. I have installed the latest 11.0.2 patch. The crash details are

Flash Pro CS6 crashes when creating symbol
Okay...here's one I gotta share. I'm building some banner ads for a client. I open up Flash Pro CS6. I create a square on the stage. And when I right-mouse click on the drawing, choose Create Symbol...Flash completely locks up. I get that little Windows 7 'tink' in my speakers..and nothing. I cannot create a symbol of any kind. The program completely locks up.
So...I uninstall the entire CS6 suite...reinstall with latest installers...and same result.
BUT....if I put a graphic on the stage...go to the timeline...and try to apply a motion tween..flash alerts me that it needs to be a symbol and converts it to a movie clip for me...no errors.
I'm on Windows 7, 64 bit, 16 G ram. So that ain't the problem. I tried in vane to get somebody on the phone at adobe....I knew that would be a waste of time.
I've been using adobe software forever. And though it is frequently error and crash prone I can usually count on an uninstall squaring things away. Not this time. And I have no cause and effect to point to. I was using Flash a couple of weeks ago no problem...and now...unusable.
If there's anyone out there reading this post...I'd really be interested in a solution. The only thing that could´ve changed are the settings on my mac...
Sounds like this might be your trouble?
I run a pc... no help to you.

Premiere Pro CS5 crashing when exporting (only certain file types)
Hi
I have found that when I try and export media in Premiere Pro CS5, it often crashes during the export. It says
It's only certain file types. For instance, Vimeo HD seems okay but Vimeo SD always crashes mid-export. MPEG is okay too, but MPEG2-DVD always crashes.
Sometimes it says this: "Error Compiling Movie - Unknown Error" but doesn't throw me out of Premiere altogether.
Other times it crashes altogether and Windows gives me this error message: "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 258.96 stopped responding and has successfully recovered". Premiere Pro then stops responding so I have to re-open it and start exporting again.
I have checked there are no gaps in my timeline and I have rendered the whole work area. Besides, I doubt it's anything that I'm doing wrong with the project itself because it's exporting fine in some formats.
I am also experiencing random crashes when editing too. Not that often, but occasionally it throws me out - and twice it has made the whole screen go crazy, with weird dotting across the screen (it's scary, it looks like the monitor itself has broken!).
Any help would be appreciated!
Nick
PS I have a pretty decent new PC - Dell Studio XPS, 8GB, 2x1TB drives, etc. Premiere itself is working great, except for these crashes. Some drivers do not work well in some systems... so go to nVidia and try a different (usually newer) driver for your card
These notes are for Encore, but they MAY also work in Premiere

Premiere Pro CS5 Crashes when graphics are imported
This doesn't happen with every graphic in the known universe. I have permission to get photos from certain sites (.gov, .mil) and those pictures are crashing CS5.
I've tried importing and dragging from the media browser. The crash occurs when the playhead hits the image, or I select the image to resize etc.
As a working process, I've been opening the images and re-saving them in photoshop CS5, which appears to be working. Here's an example of an image causing these types of crashes:
I'm not getting any error message. Windows just pops up a screen saying that the program has stopped working.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Harm,
For starters, I'm not going to take someone seriously who actually said that you can't use 16 GB of RAM with my processor. I mean, you actually said that.
And then there's this whole performance thing. Considering performance is not a quantifiable number…especially since you don't know my RAM selection, bus speed, RAM timings, voltages or motherboard model…and flat out ignore that I'm running quad channel memory in a quad channel configuration…well, you just don't make any sense. In fact, it just shows your ignorance on the whole topic.
There's no crippling…in fact the only thing that seems crippled is Adobe's software till they patch the issue. Furthermore, you're completely trolling this topic, never once having contributed to the original, or additional issues.
Now, I see that you're a regular on here (more than regular, it's actually closer to an obsession)..so I'll just assume you like having the last word. So here's some advice…if you don't know what you're talking about, don't answer. If someone's new, help them. Don't accuse them of being wrong out of the gate, and then don't steer the topic elsewhere so you can wave your e-phallus around about computer specs.
Better luck next time. Should take a page from the other commentors, they were polite and helpful. I'm done with you, as you offer nothing.
Seriously, seek professional help.
As I've mentioned several times in this forum, Harm does more harm than good. And hard drive speed is 95% of his advice. Just ignore him. -
Premiere Pro CS5 Crashing When Cutting Unlinked Audio
Premiere crashes often when I attempt to cut an unlinked audio track. Message appears "A serious error has occurred and Premiere must close". Timeline has only 1 video and 2 mono audio tracks from 30p miniDV source material.
Running version 5.0.3
Windows 7 64-bit w/ current updates
New machine - just assembled by my company's IT guy with video editing in mind (SD from miniDV for web streaming).
Specs: ACPI x64 - based PC
Intel i7 processor
6 gb memory
Dual Nvidia GEForce GTS 450 video cards - driver updated v. 8.17.12.6099
Disk Drives: OS and Premiere: ST31500341AS ATA 112 gb of 195 gb free
Media/capture/output: WDC WD10 02FAEX-00Z3A0 SCSI 102 gb free of 736gb
Project/Sequence Settings: DV NTSC 30p, 29.97 no field order(progressive), 720X480 (.9091 pixel aspect ratio)
Project contains 16 sequences, each approx. 30 mins of 30p DV with 1 video and 2 mono audio tracks - live conference presentations - default track setting 'mono' to seperate ch1 and ch2 audio.
After unlinking audio and video, Premiere crashes frequently when I attempt to cut an audio track.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Went in to NVIDIA control panel and realized SLI was disabled so only running one card.
Re-installed drivers, enabled SLI, and added card to PPRO .txt file so that GPUSniffer.exe would recognize it.
MPE acceleration is now enabled and PPRo seems to be much more stable so far.
Thanks for the suggestion, Harm...got me going down the right path. -
Flash CS5 crashing when opening fla file
Flash is immediately crashing when I try to open an fla file created by a student. She has two copies of the file; neither will open. I'm hoping she hasn't lost all her work. The crash is happening on more than one machine. Does anyone know of any way to get the file opened?
TeryIf it's a Flash CS5 or CS5.5 file, you can try to rename the file's extension to .zip, and investigate the XML files inside.
If you're sure it's in CS5+ format but it can't open as a ZIP file, try repairing it with recovery tools for ZIP files.
It'll need quite a lot of detective work, but the file being saved as zipped XML means it's possible to recover faulty files. This trick works for any format that's XML-based - recent versions of Office files, Audition CS5.5 SESX, etc. -
Currently using Flash Pro CS5, getting error when trying to open CS4 file. Error is "Slides and Forms documents are not supported in this version of Flash. Please open in previous version. Has there been a fix or patch to this issue or do I have to convert back to CS4 to open the file?
Having the same problem in CS6. I can tell you that converting back to CS4 will NOT solve the problem. It seems when support for backward compatibility is discontinued, there's just no way to get
any help at all? Absolute failure to provide any user support so far... -

Macbook Pro unstable crashing when opening iPhoto, FB flash apps and others.
I have a 2010 Macbook Pro that crashes when I open iPhoto or use Facebook flash apps. I can't seem to find a solution. I have included the last panic report. I can use safari without a problem as long as I don't go on flash heavy sites. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash with no success. I am not sure what to do next. This started when I first updated to Lion and has persisted. I have done a clean install of Mountain Lion but the problem still continues.

com.apple.kec.corecrypto 1.0I have a 2010 Macbook Pro that crashes when I open iPhoto or use Facebook flash apps.
