Flash - Pulling My Hair Out - Please Help!

Hi everyone. I support multiple users with flash. Recently,
some of my users are having an issue with some websites that
display flash content. Specifically, they will appear to load the
content, but only have a blank space (no X's or error messages).
What's stranger is that other flash sites (Adobe's tester.. the
M&Ms site.. many others) work perfectly fine.
Here's an example:

On this site for some of my clients, the map simply won't
load. You'll notice the transition effect (which is visible), but
no map. Just white. I've tried this on IE 7, Firefox 3, Latest
Opera.. all the same result.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- Put afflicted sites in the trusted security zones
- Uninstalling/Reinstalling v9
- Installing v10
- Cleared registry keys of all flash content.. install v9.

- Update Java (just in case) to latest build
- Ran flash uninstaller with /clean switch.
- Cleared browser cache
- Deleted browser objects
- Tried a flash9f build someone suggested
All no dice. I don't understand why flash seemingly works on
many web sites but not all of them. I'd chalk it up to poor
programming, but it works fine on my machine, which has an
identical image to one of the machines not working properly.
Can someone look at that site.. what it's trying to load..
and maybe guesstimate a course of action? It's not a mission
critical problem..but it's driving me nuts! I'm almost ready to
format these puppies!
We're running XP SP1.

Do you have a small preloader to ensure that the script
doesn't run until all the frames have been loaded? I've had similar
problems and now all my stuff have a small preloader
upfront.

Is it not possible to create a text box, fill it with dynamic (data driven) text, but make the font size either scale up or down automatically, so that the entire text box is filled? This is a feature in PrintShop Mail Pro called COPY FIT. but no such feature in Indesign??

lol... it seems to work, but I have another huge problem!
Apparently .CSV files cannot contain page breaks in the data! The data I am trying to merge is a 'letter', with paragraphs, line breaks, etc.,
But, after data merging, it ignores page breaks and only merges the first paragraph of each letter. (sigh)
Solution? Hopefully, an EASY solution. lol as we have thousands of records.
Is there a third party indesign plugin that will allow .xml, or .xls data merge import??

I bought the Airport express so i could surf the web and wireless play music through my stereo simultaneously. Can I do this? I've managed to play music wirelessly from my macbook to the express/stereo, however i cant surf the web because i can only presume i haven't set up the express to join my sky network. So therefore the only way to surf the web at the moment is swap wireless devices from express back to my current sky network, then the airplay stops obviously.
I've tried to join the express to my sky network/netgear router, at face value it looks simple. The sky network name automatically comes up and then all i have to do is select the correct wireless security which i haven't got a clue which one my sky/netgear router is using, then type in the password which i presume is the network key number on the back of the netgear router? However its not connecting?? I am doing something wrong?
Can someone please give me some guidence on how to connect express to my current network?

Suggest that you ask Sky what type of wireless security that is used on the devices that they provide.
Once you have that information, you can choose the correct matching setting when you configure the AirPort Express to "join" the Sky wireless network.
The "password" would be the normal phrase that you use to connect to your wireless network at the present time.

My question is: How do I figure out what release I was on, get rid of this one and got back to a functional firefox that moves in realtime. I already did all the reset and etc.... I just want to go back to the speed I had. This halting , hanging up misery of a browzer is Sad. I have had firefox for years and always recommended it ..... BUT NOT ANY MORE. I agree with the other poster ... there should be a rollback feature. Peoples time has value and right now FireFox is sucking the value down a rabbit hole.

I came here to fix it a couple of dayz ago and did the reset firefox and now it IS RUNNING SO POORLY AND SLOW I AM ABOUT TO KILL IT OFF MY MACHINE!!! Yes that is me yelling - and it happened in SSSSSSSSSSSSS LLLLLLLLL OOOOOOOO WWWWWWWWWW Motion. I have run all the security scans and cleanups ---this needs a fix ASAP!!! PS: The hang ups and slowness is EVERYWHERE I go. I only get speed doing programs not connected to ON LINE.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.

I had the same issue and i just resolved it, I have an iphone 4s and last night was al perfect and this morning i just verified that i had a new updated installed on my phone and my WiFi was disable and did restore as new like crazy until i did this after me being tired of restoring my phone from factory setting and then my lately back up on icloud i did my last move and it got fixed this is what i did ok.
STep #1 Do a back up manualy onto your cmputer throu itunes (NOT ICLOUD) ok
Step #2 after doing the the back up go and do on you phone or throu itunes do the factory reset setting and erase everything and make like new phone
Step #3 Leave yhe iphone conected to Itunes.
Step #4 Once your iphone is reset to factory setting on your Itunes Window will say NO SIM CARD DETECTED before clicking on your right up corner (DONE) slide your phone and it will appear conect to a network do the process and put the pasword of your WiFi and until it says conected,It will say (No Service) but it will be conected to WiFi then click on the Itunes Window (DONE)
Step #5 DO a back up recovery from the last back up you did onto your computer not Icloud ok!!
Step #6 after you recovered your phone from last back up on your computer it will atumaticaly have service and WiFi conection like before..
I hope i did explained well to you i did work for me after 7 hours of doing reset and back up =)

Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this?

here is my problem:
my loop browser likes to delete my loops. they just disappear for no reason....user loops as well as the apple ones. i have my loop folders where i believe is the correct location. but they aren't in the browser. i take that back....every time i open logic, some folders appear, some disappear...i open it again, different ones are there....the ones there the last time are now gone. basically they keep appearing and disappearing....most of them...some have never shown up in the browser. the last time i checked...all i had in there were the ones for the symphony jam pack. i'm afraid next time i open logic none will be there. i keep moving them in and out of the user and apple loop folders thinking that might do something. gah! i just don't know what to do. and god only knows if all the samples and loops i created are anywhere on my computer anymore. oh...and if i try taking the individual folders or files and drag them into the browser, logic freezes. and it doesn't matter anyway because those that i succesfully loaded into the browser that way have also disappeared.
can someone please please please help me. i am desperate. i have had the most obnoxious day already. i am having all these problems with the computer, my car was towed (not my fault either), i woke up at 3am because i couldn't sleep....i'm just stressed and all i want to do is work on music.

also...i still haven't arse to register my copy....is it possible that there is some patch that i missing that i would remedy this. i'm just wondering if this a software bug or i just completely lose at the computer.

maybe it does have to do with other apps. i wish i would have paid attention to when this started occuring so i could narrow down which application might be the culprit.
the only thing that seems to be working right now is if i take my loop folders out of library/audio. i dragged some to my desktop (don't ask me why i did this) and imported them from there. for some reason they are staying in my loop browser. also when asked where i wanted to put the files, i selected them to go where the rest of the loops are at....in the proper directory. i'm thinking of trying this with all the loops and see what happens. something is corrupted and i'd like to know what and why. i admit, which i am embarrassed about, my computer is a mess. i really need to organise it and all that. actually, i am hoping hoping hoping to get a macbook just for my music. it would make life easier for me seeing i am quickly running out of room on all my hard drives.
the only loops i am having trouble locating are all the ones i made recently. which i am upset about. but i am sure they are here somewhere. i just need ot wade through the mess to find them.

FLASH BUILDER 4.7 PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

So i just ordered the adobe creative cloud service today and downloaded the adobe application manager, installed Flash Builder 4.7 and then preceded to create a flash game. It had tons of errors with my code so i then just did the simple HelloWorld program and it ran fine. But as soon as i tried to type in more complex code like (import flash.display.Loader) it has a yellow triangle by this statement of code saying that (import flash.display.Loader is not used locally). I have had this problem with the rest of my code also. Please help!!! I have already tried to contact adobe technical services but they said they couldn't help me because I had the creative cloud. I am in desperate need of help!!!!!!!!!!!

Flash Builder 4.7 is warning about unused imports largely to help you clean up your code. These warnings may also be useful if you have made a typo in the qualified name. An unused import, however, should not stop you from building your application.
If you're building a Flex application, then you should use a Flex project. Flex projects use the Flex SDK 4.6 already included in Flash Builder 4.7. Unless you're trying to customize or update the SDK for a specific reason, you shouldn't need to add a new Flex SDK if you're just starting out to explore developing a Flex application.
Once you start writing more complicated applications or games that take advantage of the latest AIR features, you can update the Flex SDK with a later version of AIR by applying the updated AIR SDK overlay for Flex zip distribution manually. I would wait until you're more familiar with Flash Builder 4.7 and Flex projects before trying to upgrade an SDK. The following like describes the process:

I've tried all the troubleshooting from Firefox's troubleshooting guide to no avail.
I'm unable to view videos that require flash.
I can watch YouTube, but I have to enable flash first.
This has never happened before, but now it won't go away.
System: Windows 7 (64-bit)
Adobe Flash version: 16.0.0.287
Browser: Firefox 35
An example of videos that I used to be able to watch were from the Arrow and, ironically, The Flash TV shows.
Now this is the error I receive:
CWTV requires Flash Player 10.2.0 or higher.

I deleted acrobat reader because I couldn't get Flash. Now I have Flash, but no reader. Please help

I have windows vista business. I recently deleted my acrobat reader and re-installed FLASH. But now when I got to adobe.com, the acrobat reader will not download. It keeps trying, but no dialogue box pops up to saveas or run it. Please help.

Flashing Pixels (Bad Video) Apple please help!

I have these incessant flashing Green/blue pixels in windows through boot camp which makes it intolerable to use. It does this with the built in display but not with the extended display which I use on 270 degree orientation so I can't use that instead.
Seems to be a huge number of people in that post with this complaint and my situation fits it exactly. It used to work fine and at some point (not sure which update exactly due to infrequent use at the time) it went bad. Nothing I do will fix it. I've even wiped the HD, repartitioned, reinstalled windows on boot camp and then restored my OSX with Time Machine... Allot of hassle for no results. Only saving grace was Time Machine with the OSX side of that effort.
I want to know why apple refuse to even comment on this and maybe offer some thoughts on this? Maybe a fix even? Instead of locking the topic and shutting us up instead of working with us. What's next? A cover up to hide the fact? Maybe Apple should just delete the complaints from the support forums.
Apple, please help, this is beyond tolerable and I need boot camp for a couple of Windows Only apps. If I had a choice I would defiantly use OSX versions.
Just a side not. When I wiped the HD and went to reinstall form the backup the OSX installer recognized the destination and source but refused to run the restoration. I shut the whole thing down and started again and it worked fine.

Okay, so i've tried to download it multiple times with multiple "solutions" but none have worked! I'm starting to get SO mad.. and aggravated. I just want this stupid update to update! Everytime it goes to finish it says error, network connection has timed out please check your connection and try again later. My connection is perfectly fine! I've disabled my anti virus and firewall while trying to update too.. no luck. I even downloaded the ios 5 manually from a site, but i dont know how to use that as my download. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I am going to go crazy.
