Flash site cannot accessible with mozilla firefox browser

Hi. I want to ask something from you...
I've maked a site, the site is in test stadium, is working in browsers IE8, Opera 10...
...but when i want to open in Mozilla Firefox, only the first index.html is visible (here is the navigation menu). the menu is working, but the site still stood. all links is accessing external swf files. i have a menu item, what is calling an html file swf...this is working too, but the html swf movie cannot cannot opening the accessible swf files from here. but this problem appears only in Firefox Browser. The page is working perfectly in IE or Opera...but for mie this is a mistake...i'm tested in a lot of pc's, with different versions of firefox, ie, and opera browsers but  with the exception of firefox, working fine.
this is an incompatibility problem between flash & firefox?
or a problem with the external preloading files? (the first index page is a swf too, but called by an html file...)
i really don't know what's the problem, but this is so interresant, i think not only for me...
i'm waiting your help. thank you and best regards

Hello ZigZag,
I did have disable the blocking content. Still it doesn't work. This is a problem that I face right now.
I have submitted this problem to Mozilla Firefox team.
I did not have any issues with Windows 8.1 with the same browser version Firefox 35.
It having issues on Windows 10 build 9926.
So it is either Windows 10 is having issues or Firefox or Adobe itself.
Either one of it.
I submitted the issues to both Firefox and Adobe for this matter. Right until now I have no reply from them.
For your info, this laptop cannot download any Windows Build updates...
I have to download the new build ISO manually. I wonder why I cannot get the new release of prebuild updates from Microsoft. Makes me wonder all the time. Why I cannot do any updates!
Formatted the hard disk and do a clean install of Windows 10 beta build 9926.

  • Why is it that image grayscaler code for website is not functioning with Mozilla Firefox, yet it does to other browser?

I just noticed that my code(in my blog site), which is a ordinary code that allows image to turn into its grayscale form and hover its original color, is not functioning with Mozilla Firefox browser. But with other browsers, it's working. I hope you can help me with this little issue. Thank you!

Does it use a CSS rule similar to:
    filter: grayscale(100%)
This property is not yet implemented in Firefox. It is scheduled to be implemented in Firefox 34, according to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/filter

  • Installing flash player 10.1.   with existing Mozilla Firefox browser

I am using Mozilla Firefox browser and would like to install FLASH PLAYER 10.1 -Operating System Windows XP, 32 bits
I have difficulty following the installation instructions. When clicking on " tools" on my browser I am uncertain to go to " Options"
or "Add-ons". If I select add-ons I am taken to a window that prompts me to make selections among " recommendations".
    - If I select "options" I am unable to locate the tab where I can install add-ons , specifically where I type in the Adobe address. I am also uncertain whether I would use www.adobe.com or a more specific address.
    - When I install the flash player without the add-ons the program becomes corrupted within a short time. Any solution? Please

Sorry, I don't understand this.  To install FP for Firefox, just download the installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe, save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
P.S. what is your Firefox version?

This flashes a few times then usually stops but not always.
It happens every time I try to open a new page.
I fixed this problem by uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 and installing Adobe Flash Player 10.3. However, now my IE browser wants me to install Adobe Flash Player 11 again. • I'm suddenly in need of help with my Firefox browser (6.0.2)

    Hi there,
I'm suddenly in need of help with my Firefox browser (6.0.2)
    (OS: I use Windows XP).
When I open up the browser, all I see is a completely blank white screen, with all the toolbars at the top.
I know that my physical connections are fine: I've tested the modem, turned the pc off and on etc. and I can also receive/send emails.
This problem started today, 8th September, 2011 and has never happened before.
Is it a coincidence that Firefox updated itself just before I logged off yesterday evening? Could it be something to do with this particular new update?
I've also noted that just before I "open up" Firefox, I now get a small box saying:
    [JAVASCRIPT APPLICATION]
Exc In Ev handl: TypeError: This oRoot.enable is not a function
This has never appeared before - I hope it offers a clue a to what is wrong.
The Browser is not stuck in Safe Mode, by the way.
Obviously, I can't search for any solutions to the problem on the internet, as I can't physically see any websites!
(A friend is sending this query on my behalf from their pc)
Any light you could throw on this confusing problem would be much appreciated. I'd rather not have to uninstall and reinstall Firefox if possible.
If the only option is to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it from your site, then I'm also in trouble (I can't see the internet or make any downloads).
In that case, would you be able to send the .exe file as an attachment to my email address? If so, please let me know and I'll give you further details.
    Many thanks in advance.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I have gone through so many sites but could find any reason for this behavior.
I have provided JRE6 32-bit version download URL, here I don’t think so I’m doing any version incompatibility because both the JRE6 and Mozilla Firefox are 32-bit version. And 64 bit Firefox version is not available for windows.
I’m not sure why the code is working with Firefox 22 and its lower version but
doesn’t work with higher version than firefox22….like 23,24,25
Can anyone help to sort out this issue?
    Thanks, <br />

Sorry for the delay in getting an answer, yesterday was a holiday in the USA.
This forum is for Firefox user support, not for web developer support. My rough guess is that since Mozilla has blocked all but the most recent update for Java 7 Plugins - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/ - and Firefox 23 brought in a new '''Simplified interface for notifications of plugin installation''' - http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/23.0/releasenotes/ - that is probably why you're having a problem with versions of Firefox after Firefox 22.
Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox. <br />

  • Mozilla Firefox browser stopped working altogether about 6-8 weeks ago!

We love Mozilla Firefox...and, as genuine early adopters and "pioneers," have been using it since day one! That is until our service was disrupted about a month or two ago and we were forced to use IE as default Browser.
    Wha happened?
At first we thought something was wrong with the settings in our PC (DELL desktop, 32 bit, Vista), they they had somehow gone 'out of whack' and were making it impossible to open MF any longer. What a disaster! The first and second level Support team at AT&T tried everything, including removing and reloading our Mozilla Firefox browser app, but to no avail...even after running through this process as well as other basic protocols a number of times.
Interestingly, a friend called me yesterday complaining that a virus (Trojan) had invaded his computer and was wreaking havoc in a number of ways. When I asked what the symptoms were, he said, "well, the main one is I can no longer use my Mozilla Firefox browser!"
I couldn't believe my ears. What do you guys know about this symptom and what can I do to fix it? Is it some kind of MS IE conspiracy we are up against?
    Thank you!

Got that mha007, and many thanks for jumping into the fray with us. However, once I am confronted by the Safe Mode window I do not know what to do next, e.g.,
"You can elect to make the following changes:
    •Disable all add-ons
    •Reset toolbars and controls
    •Reset bookmarks to Firefox defaults
    •Restore default search engines
    •Disable all add-ons
    •Reset toolbars and controls"
Which, if any, do I check... and, importantly, why?
Please reference my note to Weather15 (about 3 notes above)...
"However---and this may be significant based on your advice earlier,
when I went back to START and right clicked on the Mozilla Firefox
icon, I was able to initiate a'Safe Mode' execution, which then presented
me with the 'Safe Mod window' mentioned at the site.
If I simply "Continue in Safe Mode," without selecting any of the
options offered in the window, e.g., "Disable all add-ons," I am still
unable to open or run Mozilla Firefox...so nothing has been fixed or
    changed.
What, if any, boxes in the Safe /Mode window should I try checking?
And, having run both SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes several
times now, why has the malware or virus not at least been recognized if
    not removed the ''perp''?"

    Feedback:
If you use the input/feedback button the information you send will be public, but that is the point of sending it.
That is were you send short comments about Firefox. More than one way of doing this:
    * a button on the browser
    * the ''[Suggestion Box]'' option on some of these pages
    * or the link

You will need to send that information if you wish to get help with crashes. The email address is optional (and I do not think it is public). If you file a bug however you will need to provide an email address that will be publicly displayed
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crash_%28computing%29 Crashes] are when Firefox suddenly breaks and stops working entirely. If you are lucky it may restart again but it may continue to crash or be totally unusable.
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_bug Bugs] in this context are the discussions by the experts fixing or modifying Firefox, often initiated by a bug report from an end user.
If you need help with your crash Mozilla needs some techie information about the crash before they can do anything about it or help you.

I have Windows 7, and each time I try to run the program to install it, it tells me I have another version still waiting to be installed that requires my computer to reboot. When I check "yes" to reboot, my computer reboots but still no Firefox. When I try to uninstall the the old Mozilla program from my Control Panels, there is no Mozilla files or programs listed not in my list of programs but when I go directly to the Windows File on the C: Drive, there's a Mozilla program file there. WHen I go into that file check, I attempt to open the uninstall program. I get an error message that says something to the effect of: "the version Mozilla on this computer is not compatable with my OS." Something about it being and 86bit program. My Firefox 3.6 worked fine 2 days ago. What's wrong??? ''
'''Firefox 4 using huge amounts of RAM on sites with Java scripts
I have been observing Firefox using huge amount of RAM when I am on sites that use Java Scripts to rotate images. I have tried a couple of different sites and have monitored the RAM usage. With Java script enabled Firefox 4 continues to grow its RAM usage by about 10MB a minute. I have had the usage hit as high as 1.5GB. I am having a problem with the FireFox browser. I have attached two files that best describe the problem. I have labeled them A & B. A is the way it should look and B is what happens after I have I opened several tabs. I can get it back to normal if I click on VIEW than click on customize. When the customize window appears FireFox returns to its normal state. I than click on the done box and go back to what I have been doing. I tried resetting FireFox back to default settings, but that did not correct the problem.
This began happening about a month ago. Is there a way I can fix this problem? Thanks for your help.I don't know how to attach my 2 attachments that shows the problem I am having.

Thinking of purchasing an iPad.  Is it comptatible with Mozilla Firefox?

Mozilla have not made an app version of Firefox, so no. The iPad comes with the Safari browser (though it's not as sophisticated as on a PC or Mac), and there are other browsers available in the iTunes App Store which are more powerful e.g. Atomic Web, iCab mobile, Opera etc

  • The mozilla firefox browser vertical slide bar is moving up and down automatically?

The mozilla firefox browser vertical slide bar is moving up and down automatically. This is happening when i am browsing internet?

    Hello,
You said you have disabled all add-ons and plug-ins. This may be a repeat exercise but can you please test for the problem when Firefox is in safe mode. This disables plug-ins as well but also applies various other changes. See here for details:
[[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]
If the problem still appears in Safe Mode then it may be that there is still some part of Hola that is causing the problem. You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
    * [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx Microsoft Safety Scanner]
    * [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware]
    * [http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208283363 TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility]
    * [http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro/ Hitman Pro]
    * [http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ ESET Online Scanner]
If none of that works then I suggest resetting Firefox. This will return Firefox to its default state but will keep your personal data, bookmarks etc. See here for instructions:
[[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]]
    I hope that helps.
