Flash sites crash Firefox. No Crash Reporter for Mozilla.

Any site that uses Flash makes Firefox quit. I get a window that says upon reopening Firefox, a report will be sent to Apple. I need the report to go to Mozilla.
I have a Mac running the latest software and everything else is up to date.

  • I use Photon flash browser on my mini iPad, and for two days I keep getting crash reports for Mozilla?

    I use Photon Flash Player on my mini iPad, for the last two days I keep getting crash reports from Mozilla. How can I fix this issue as it is getting really irritating? II get on Facebook for a couple of minutes and it crashes or I cannot get on at all?

    Hi 11Scarlett24,
    The Photon Flash Player browser is not created by Mozilla, and we have no way of providing support for it.
    Please reach out to the developers directly for problems with this application.

  • Latest Flash plugin causes firefox to crash when printing

    Firefox will crash anytime I attempt to print a webpage. It doesn't happen in safemode. Disabling the Adobe Flash Plugin removes the problem. The Flash Plugin is the current version from adobe.

    Tylerdowner,
    Uninstalled and reinstalled Flash. No change. The only thing that seems to consistently resolve the problem is disabling the Flash plugin.
    I tried creating a new profile, but when I transfer the data suggested in this:
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox
    I get an error window when opening firefox with the new profile ...something about security settings not working correctly...but I can print every time even though the Flash plugin appears to be installed and enabled. So I assume there is some kind of problem with my current profile. Any suggestions on how to find and correct it or a way to get most of my data into a new profile...that works...would be appreciated.

  • In upgrate 22 and 23.0 the bookmarks toolbar dissapears and after crashing firefox does not allow for recovery

    I hate this new upgrade. I basically can't use this browser anymore. I only need firefox to do a few things correctly but if it cannot do these things I cannot use it<br />
    1. If firefox crashes (which it does every 30 minutes it just closes completely) then I need for it to be able to restore / recover all previously opened windows when I start it back up again. It does not do this anymore.<br />
    2. I use the bookmarks toolbar all the time but frequently it shows up completely blank. So now the only way I can see the bookmarks is if I go to options and deselect bookmarks toolbar and then reselect bookmarks toolbar.
    This is so frustrating and worse you make it so you cant do rollbacks! That is insulting and makes me want to not use your browser. A browser is a critical tool not a toy but you guys won't stop playing with it.

    Hi joshuad31,
    Sorry you are having problems. It should not be crashing and should not be messing up your bookmarks. I do not have any such problems.
    *If Firefox is actually crashing, as opposed to hanging then a couple of the Crash IDs would help.
    ** see [[Firefox crashes - Troubleshoot, prevent and get help fixing crashes]]
    * if firefox has been frequently hanging and restarting offering the option to restore sessions then that has probably overloaded the session restore and you will need to delete the multiple copies of files.
    ** see [[Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix#w_delete-duplicated-session-restore-files]]'''_delete-duplicated-session-restore-files'''
    ** you will loose information doing that, normally I would suggest bookmarking the open tabs, but I am not sure that would work for you.
    To get Firefox running again you may initially need to use Firefox's safemode and disable all your plugins. Or do a reset.
    * [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]
    *[[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] (Read the warnings before you try this)
    I note you have VMware, scripting software and an enterprise edition extension. Is this machine used in an enterprise / corporate environment ?
    I will deal with the bookmarks toolbar issue later, crashing/hanging is a higher priority.

  • Crystal Reports for VS2010 Prerequisites for ClickOnce Deployment

    I keep getting this Error when publishing my application with clickonce even though I have Crystal Reports for VS2010 installed: I want the prerequisites to be downloaded from the same location as my app. Publishing fails with the following error.
    The install location for prerequisites has not been set to 'component vendor's web site' and the file 'Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\CRRuntime_32bit_13_0.msi' in item 'SAP Crystal Reports Runtime Engine for .NET Framework 4.0' can not be located on disk.

  • Fullscreen flash site

    Hello, I believe that doing a fullscreen flash site (liquid)
    is the best way for you site to look good on a 17" or 30" monitor.
    But I don't understand what settings I need. I put the stage
    at 1024x768. However A normal users resolution is lower than this
    due to the brower windows and toolbars.
    What size should my stage be, and should I put width and
    Height to 100 percent in HTML file.
    I don't want to use the resize because my site looks bad
    quality.
    What actionscript do I need to get it to centre on users
    screen,liquid or atleast support 17" and 30" monitors.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    let's try to help you ...
    First off, 1024 x 768 is to launch out surely okay coz its
    standard screen size and only some older notebooks got 800 x 600
    though.
    2. What do I need to specify when publishing from Flash?
    Use some code of Actionscript ...
    If you want to get a fullscreen by open your website then add
    this code:
    getURL("FSCommand:fullscreen", "true");
    getURL("FSCommand:allowscale", "false");
    getURL("FSCommand:showmenu", "false");
    if you wanna let the user decide whether fullscreen or not by
    button take this code:
    Stage.scaleMode="noScale";
    Stage.align="TL";
    var resizeListener:Object = new Object();
    resizeListener.onResize = function() {
    toggleFullScreenButton._x=Stage.width*2;
    toggleFullScreenButton._y=Stage.height*2;
    And put this part of code to your button:
    function toggleFullScreen() {
    if(Stage["displayState"] == "normal) {
    Stage["displayState"]="fullScreen";
    }else{
    Stage["displayState"]="normal";
    on(press) {
    toggleFullScreen();
    3. What code do I need to add to my HTML page?
    Well, I suggest you're supposed to use some JavaScript code
    like
    swfobject.js or AC_RunActiveContent.js if you want that
    GOOGLE index your website properly. By the way its open-source!
    Okay, that's it! Its your turn now ...

  • Bug Report: Flash Player 13 crashes Firefox 28 often

    Crashing scenarios: Youtube videos ending, and opening a new tab simultaneously. That happened while palying a playlist on autoplay, and when playing a video not part of a playlist. Also, listening to Pandora and opening a new tab.
    Visual experience of the crash: With the YT crashes, Firefox freezes and never becomes responsive. For the Pandora crash, the whole browser just shuts down and gives me a prompt to report the crash.
    How I know it's FP13: I just installed in not even an hour before the first crash. Experiencing 4 crashes within 30 hours, after going 4 weeks without a crash? Very interesting stuff, isn't it.
    I could not find a formal way to report a bug, so here is this.
    Also, make it easier to downgrade. It's a pain having to get a 140 MB installer package to run one installer that I need, uninstall the new FP, then disconnect from the internet so you don't tell me that I'm trying to install an old version and not giving me the option to continue. If you're not going to test your software extensively to make sure it doesn't crash often, don't force people onto it.
    Running 32-bit Vista.
    Searching around, I see that you are going to drop support for 11.7 (what happened to 12? I could not find an installer for that anywhere) on May 13th. You should delay this or actually make FP13 stable.
    Yours truly,
      Exaskryz

    Pandora has, and causes, a lot of problems if your audio and video drivers are outdated or corrupted. Also, if you have RealTek® audio, you're never going to get Pandora to "play nice" with it. Flash Player has nothing to do with either of those.
    You can find 11.7 here: Flash Player 11.7.700.279 but I have Vista Ultimate (64bit) with Flash Player 14 (beta), and I can run YouTube videos, post here and in the Apple Forums, as well as checking out a few News sites, all at once... and no crashes with FF 29.

  • Firefox consistently crashes when loading Flash sites

    For a couple of reasons I decided to go ahead and install OSS a few days ago.  On the first day, the install went smoothly and everything was working just as it should (I used the oss-linux-free PKGBUILD in AUR).  Yesterday and today, however, I've started to get a reoccurring problem that is, to put it lightly, driving me nuts.
    Firefox (or Epiphany, though I prefer the former) consistently crashes when opening up any site that uses Flash or Java.  With the way the internet is going, this is a large chunk of websites—not being able to visit YouTube or the website for Enemy Territory: Quake wars, for instance, is driving me nuts.
    Now, when I say "consistently" I don't mean each and every time.  I've been able to get these sites to load a number of times, but in the last two days Firefox has crashed in probably 2/3-3/4 of the time when loading any site that has a Flash element.  I've made sure that I have not wrongly assumed this has to do with my newly installed OSS by uninstalling, reinstalling the kernel and all ALSA packages, rebooting, and then surfing the web for a while to see if anything went wrong.  It didn't.
    So my question is this: why is Firefox crashing so often in the two days since I've installed OSS?  What can be done to rectify this?
    After some experimenting, it seems the problem is worst under the following conditions:
    - Having several tabs open, though not necessarily several tabs with Flash
    - Listening to music and THEN navigating to YouTube or something.
    However, it's not specific to these circumstances.  In fact, just before I decided to make this post I opened Firefox, went to a site with Flash on it (one tab), and it immediately shut down.  I tried this three or four additional times and was met with the exact same results.
    Other info
    Firefox: Pre-compiled Mozilla i686 build, v. 2.0.0.11
    OSS: OSS (GPL version) 4.0, build 1012
    Operating System: Arch Linux 2.6.23-ARCH
    I've also posted this here.

    I have the same problem. I've never been able to identify when it started. Once firefox crashes, mpd, if it was playing, becomes unresponsive. The only way to get a flash site working again is to reboot my computer.
    I uninstalled flash: I'm not going to put up with that kind of behaviour. Now I watch youtube videos on other people's computers --you know how they say "You've GOT to see this movie!". And if I really need to see that one specific video, there's youtube-dl.
    Unfortunately gnash doesn't work on youtube for me.

  • Firefox keeps crashing with multiple crash reports. One is ec05d6ea-f074-48e7-86b8-c91bd2110213 I also can't hear anything played in Flash. How can I fix?

    Im using a HP dv1000 and XP. I have also been getting blue screens shortly after this problem started.

    Hello
    first it is not good to use two different graphics vendors in one pc, because the driver uninstallers doesn't remove all values/files, so you will have a mixed up system.
    Or do you use a backup image with a clean windows (no vendor graphic drivers) and revert back to it before switching the graphic card ?
    Do you have updated DirectX 9 ?

  • Keep getting Firefox crash msg. Crash reports submitted for 2 days

    For 2 days I have been unable to access Firefox. I keep getting a popup stating Firefox had a problem and crashed. A crash report has been sent via the popup about 4 times. No crash ID has been given, just a msg that the report was submitted.

    Can you use the original email address where the crash reports are supposed to be sent to report the abuse?
    My point was that if you had access to the original messages claiming to come from you, you could do something about it by sending copies to an anti-spam or anti-abuse organization. If someone sends messages to someone else claiming to come from you, you do not have access to those messages.

  • I have one site in my browsing history that won't erase for some reason, and it's been crashing Firefox every time I try to erase it. I changed my security preferences to clear history before each session, and now I can't open Firefox at all. Help.

    The site in question was the homepage for Air BnB (http://www.airbnb.com/). It's never given me problems before, and didn't even after this particular instance. I would like to continue using Firefox, but it ill no longer open, I'm assuming because it gets stuck trying to clear the history (as per my changed preferences).
    Is there a way to uninstall the program without losing my bookmarks?
    Is there a way to manually clear this problem with my history outside the program?
