Flash Skin not showing up on website

Hello,
I am having what seems to be a common problem, but am not having any luck with any of the solutions I have tried.
I have created a video, gone through the steps in flash cs3, and made the corresponding .swf and .flv files.
I publish preview - html and everything works great, the video plays, the skin shows up and functions flawlessly.
Then, I put the .flv, .swf, and skin.swf files on my hosting server put the html in my site code, and the skin won't show up.
The video plays on its own, and the space is blank where the skin should be, just the skin is not there.
I have tried most anything I can that I have found scouring message boards, etc, but none of the solutions are working for me.
I can give more exact descriptions to anyone willing to help me out.

Sharepoint Report Subscriptions not showing on sharepoint website, but are in the database

Hi All,
We have had an issue which sharepoint where our subscriptions for reports "disappear" from the website. This makes is a little hard to edit them if we need to adjust the subscription. The funny thing is the subscription is still working as it is
generating emails.
I was able to check SQL and look at the ReportingService Database and I can see all the subscriptions listed in SQL.
So the subscriptions are there. The question is, why are they not showing on the website.
Here is a query I used to show the subscriptions:

Also I found the ReportZone Column had 2 results 0 or 3
I noticed everything that had a 0 showed on the website where 3 did not.
I also saw something saying this might have to do with the AAM and having different addresses, but we only have one address

Adobe Flash up to date; firefox 9.0.1 installed. Flash does not show as plug in & Firefox states Flash not up to date. What to do

Under plugins, I get the following message:
For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version.
However, I updated to the version Firefox suggested. Flash does not show as a plugin. Plus, after updating, I continue to receive the message:
Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version.
Running Windows 7
Firefox v 9.0.1
What is wrong?

The plugin check page only recognizes some common plugins that play media on web pages and not plugins added by security software like McAfee. So no need to worry about that. Just make sure that you keep all your software up to date, especially software that deals with internet access and security software (anti-virus software, firewall).

Adobe Flash Plugin not showing up in Finder

Very frustrated here. I have installed and uninstalled the latest version of adobe flash trying to get it to work on OSX 10.7 and it's just not showing up in my plugins in Finder. What is going on? I can't watch video content or other flash on this Mac at all.

1. Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Web Content:
    Click in the box for "Enable Plug-ins".
2. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.

    At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box for
   "You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
3. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
    Uncheck the boxes next to all items.
    Check the box next to "Remove all website data".
    Click "Reset".
4. Turn off Extensions/Plug-ins if any that may interfere with Flash working properly.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Flash image not showing up?

Kay, so I uploaded my website & the flash image/logo I created for the website just doesn't show up.
Instead, in it's place, is a "dot dot dot". Literally a few ..... that flash in as if it's loading & the dots just keep looping.
It shows up on my computer as dots until I refresh a few times, then the logo works. But on no one else's computer does it work.
Does it matter that my computer is a Mac & everyone else's a PC? Or maybe the difference is that I created it on my computer so it just works on mine?

I'm not sure how to upload a .swf or .fxp files for you to see, the best i can do is show you the website:

with the "V" starting out big, then small (as if falling then hitting the page, or splatting) & then the writing shows up... very simple.
**NOTE: When you hover over the "........" where the logo should be, there is a "V" that will show up. This is not apart of the flash logo, this is just an image I put in flash catalyst so that when you hover over the logo, this V shows up bigger so it gives the effect that the V grows... in other words, it makes it known that you can click it to go to the hope page. hope that makes sense.
and YES the swf DOES load an external image. The big splat V is a photoshoped logo that I uploaded into flash and added the type. Then saved and uploaded the whole thing into flash catalyst.

Flash Controls Not Showing On Web Page

Hi-
Been beating my head lately using Flash Pro 8 and DW 8.02.
Here is the latest difficulty:
Created a Flash video file in Premiere Elements 4
Imported the .flv Flash video file into Flash 8 using import
video
Added an external skin to the video
Saved Flash .fla file
Exported movie in .swf format
I can open the .swf file in Flash Player 8 and it works fine.
I can also use the Publish setting in Flash to export the necessary
files as well as the HTML file. When viewed in either Firefox or IE
it plays correctly and the player controls are present. However, if
I create a new page in DW8 and then Insert > Media > Flash,
point it to the .swf file and then view it in Firefox or IE I can
only see the .flv Flash video file and none of the controls/skin
that should be there. I know the controls/skin are actually present
because I can browse directly to the .swf file and it displays
works properly. I can also use the publish settings from Flash to
create the HTML page and it works correctly as well. It is only
when the page is generated by DW8 that I get this problem. I have
looked at the code created by DW8 and cannot find any reference to
the .swf file for the movie controls/skin. Any idea why DW8 would
only be placing the Flash video .flv file on the page and not
writing the code to place the entire Flash movie .swf on the page?
I have tried restarting/rebooting, created a new "clean" test page
with only the Flash movie on it and it is always the same. The
other thing that is weird is I did not select Autoplay or Loop in
the DW8 settings nor in Flash 8, yet when I preview the page
created by DW8 in a browser, piece of the Flash movie I can see
(the Flash video part) autoplays and loops!
Again, any help is appreciated.

Update- This is what I have discovered while playing around
with the page and Flash file:
If I create the .swf files for the movie and skin and then
save them to the same directory as the .Flash video file and then
view the .swf file everything works fine.
If I then create a web page using DW8 and insert the Flash
into the page and save the web page to the exact same directory as
all the other files and then view the web page in a browser, it
works fine. However, if I create a new web page in DW8, save it to
any other directory other than the one where the .swf and .flv
files are located and then view the page in a browser only the .flv
Flash video portion of the movie will display in the browser--the
controls are missing. However, if I browse directly to the .swf
file and avoid going through the DW8 generated web page the Flash
movie displays properly with the controls in the correct location.
My question then is why will DW8 not show the Flash movie with
controls if the page is located in higher level directory than the
.swf and .flv files and yet browsing directly to the .swf file with
my browser works just fine? I have checked the path to the .swf
file in the DW8 source code and it is pointing to the correct
directory location. This is so strange--why will it display one way
and not the other? Any ideas?

Flash Elements Not Showing

I have used DW 8 for a while and after I downloaded the
newest update of dreamweaver my flash elements will not show up in
a web browser. I have a few buttons and a flash movie. They show up
like they should in design mode, but when I go to preview them in
by pushing F12 they will not show up. They also won't show up when
i upload them to my web host.

That's because Microsoft hadn't patched IE at that time. Go
back to that
site now in IE6 and you'll see that you have to click twice
on the Flash to
use it. DW8.0.2 fixes that....

Flash Elements not showing up

I apologize if this is a repeated question, but I am so
frustrated. I was working on an existing website, that was working
fine until I made a few updates. The updates were made after I
downloaded and installed the dreamweaver 8.2 update. That's the
only variation that I can think of. I was simply adding 2 new flash
elements to the page. One is a slideshow. On one of the pages, the
buttons were not even showing (which I also embedded with
dreamweaver, I created them in flash). This site has been up for 6
months and I have never had a problem making changes for the
client. I can see the changes when I preview them locally, but when
the pages are uploaded, the swf's are not showing on the page. If
anyone can help, I would be forever greatful.

When you insert Flash into a page using DW 8.2 it now creates
a
'scripts' file in your local site folder. You have to upload
that
'scripts' folder to your server, otherwise the Flash will not
work.

Flash contente not showing on SOME sites

I installed version 11.5.502.146 and since then I sometimes get web sites not SHOWING their flash content. I get sound, interactivity but no image.
What is weird is that it works on other websites / contents.

Fullscreen Flash movie not showing up on Mac

My flash movie is set to 100% width and height and it is
working fine on my PC on IE 6,7, FF 2, Safari 3, and Opera, but on
my Mac, the movie will not show up unless I change the 100% values
to actual height and width values. Does anyone have any thoughts
here?

"Put" files not showing up on website

I am hoping this is a relatively simple problem I am encountering. I have been given a site (http://urpl.wisc.edu/people/marcouiller/projects/clearinghouse/Tourism%20Resources.htm) to edit using Dreamweaver and many of the links that are listed are linked to nonexistent pages. I am trying to hyperlink these broken links to actual webpages and it was working fine for awhile. During the past couple of days however, after I "put" the changes to the server, the changes are not showing up on the website. The server displays that it was updated at that specific time and date and the preview page shows the correct links when I open it, but nothing changes on my actual site. I have tried clearing my cache and opening the page in different browsers, but still no luck. I have also tried disconnecting and then reconnecting to the host server and simply restarting Dreamweaver, but all to no avail. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem of changes not displaying on my website?

Are you using a Defined Site in DW or just editing individual pages and uploading?
Could you accidentally be loading the files to the wrong folder on the server?
Your site does have quite a few coding errors (64+ on the first page). You should go through the validator to clean those error up, though they likely don't have much to do with the problem at hand, it's still best for cross-browser performance and display to use correct html mark-up.

Flash CS6 not showing in FCP 7.03

I recently upgraded (well, for me it was an upgrade) to an older Mac Pro
Processor 2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory 16 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Graphics ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b)
I have installed FCP 7.03 (and in a seperate folder the hated FCP X)
I also have Adobe Creative Suite CS6 installed.
On my previous MacBook Pro I could export from a video sequence as a Flash Movie (.FLV). I could do this using one of the options in "Export Using QuickTime Conversion" On that machine I was running Flash CS4.
For some reason the Flash export option is not showing now. Flash is properly installed and opens just fine.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Probably nothing. FCP 7 was last updated in 2010; Flash CS6 was released in 2012. Incompatibility is to be expected.
There may be a conversion program, but it's most likely you'll find it on Adobe's Flash forum.

Flash menu not showing up in IE, but other flash is

I downloaded a menu from f-source.com (

to be specific) and finished my site up. it works fine in mozilla
platforms but does not show up at all in IE - i have a feeling it
is the dreamweaver 8/IE bug but don't know how to fix it other than
deactivate the active X thing under coding prefs, which i already
did.

Flash slides not showing up

I have a slide show done in Flash CS3 that is a small inset
on the home page of a site. Shows up fine in Firefox, does not show

Yea, delete that extra semicolon on line...wait a
minute...that can't
be your site! Rats! I just got my crystal ball back from the
shop and
it's about 180 degrees out of phase!
Guess we'll have to do it the old way. Please provide a link
