Flash Uploader not working properly

My flash uploder doesnt seem to work properly when uploading to sites like youtube, mediafire or just any website which uses the flash uploader. In certain places the files do upload but without any animation (bar filling up, %, etc.) but in others they don't upload at all.
I'm currently using firefox. Tried using other browsers like opera, safari and ie but it does the same thing.
I tried reinstalling flash through control panel and with the flash uninstaller tool but it doesn't fix the problem.
Also, I had this problem on two different os', vista and win7 which I'm using right now. When I had vista, the problem could be fixed by reinstalling flash but it usually came back in a few days.
Hoping somebody will help me fix this...

I still don't know what "reinstalled my laptop means". Put it
back on your lap? Humor...arr-arr.
Anyway, you have Firefox with the latest FP10 plug-in. Have
you verified this with the "Version Tester"

and checked the support pages at

I ask these questions not to be mean, but to verify your
version and make you aware of the differences between IE FP
(ActiveX) and FF FP (plug-in). Also... the version checker will act
funky if you have 2 different FP versions installed, such as your
XP's OE IE and your added FF. Look in Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs. Do you see a previous version of FP there? You may need
to update your IE's FP as well, it could be conflicting with your
FFFP.
Another thing to check.... AVG8's Linkscanner has caused some
issues, mostly by slowing down site-loading. To test this, turn
off/diable that feature. Yes, it'll whine about it. (end of part 1)

Why are flash games not working properly on Firefox, while they work perfectly on other browsers?

I own a MacBook os x 10.5.8 Intel core duo.
My problem started a few weeks ago, I tried playing a flash game, first it came up that i didnt have flash, which I did, so I ran an update but I already had the latest version.
I gave up on the games on that page and went to newgrounds.com, but turns out everytime I try to play a game the controls wont work properly on any game.
I thought it might be my flash, so I went to chrome and played the same game, no problems, to opera, no problems, to safari also no problems. So the problem is my firefox and the flash plug in? I already uninstalled it and re installed it, downloaded it again and followed every piece of advice I could find about this, nothing works.
I appreciate some help with this matter, I like working with firefox, wouldnt want to change to other browsers.

Hi gorgonzola357, there are some platform-specific differences between Windows 7 and MacOSX that may be relevant.
Have you tried disabling the new protected mode in Flash 11.3, since that feature is currently being debugged? Flash player not working properly after I added RAM. Video becomes jumpy

I recently added some RAM to my computer, and now flash player isnt working very well. It will work fine for a couple of minutes then the video starts to become jumpy, like its skipping frames, and eventually becomes so bad its unwatchable. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I switched my memory back to, neither of those worked. The only thing I can do is pause whatever I may be watching for long periods of time then start back up, but the problem persists after a few minutes. Im only having a problem with adobe flash player and am at a loss as how to resolve this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Adobe flash player not working properly

I just tried to play a game, but the game says i need flash player 8 or up.
I have the latest version, so it shouldn't say that. So I tried to re-install both the game and flash player several times, but that didn't work.
For the rest, flash player works, I can play games, and videos work normally.
Another weird thing is, on the site where you can download it, it says I have flash player installed, but it is disabled. But as far as I know, you hav to enable it at plugins, and it's enabled there.
So, does anyone know how to fix this?

This is one of two things:
1. The game has outdated version ID code in it. This dates back to the days when Flash Player was in singel digit versions, 9 and below. If that's the case, nfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it.
2. The game is written for NPAPI Flash. IF that's the case, it's not findign it with the Chrome Plug-in because it's PPAPI. Solution:
Downlaod the Standard plug-in - Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Then disable the PepperFlash Plug-in in Chrime, forcing it to fall back on the Standard plug-in.

Flash games not working properly

When going to games on the Mattel.com site the game will load but clicking the play now icon doesn't work. If I right click in the window and hit play the next screen will load but again nothing seems to work. This games on the site work just fine on 4 other systems in the house. This is a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Any ideas?

Nevermind. apparently these games will not play without speakers or headphones plugged in. Neat trick

Flash fullscreen not working properly

When I click the fullscreen button on flash video players (YouTube, vimeo, etc), most of the time it fullscreens for a split second and then exits fullscreen. I have to spam the button really fast and get lucky for the fullscreen mode to "stick." Any ideas?

I have the same problem. The first flash fullscreen works, in a firefox or chromium session. Then, if I try again to watch a flash video in fullscreen, it goes fullscreen for a second then the webpage is back with the video freezing. The videoplayback is continuing in another layer, I can hear the sound. If I click on the top of the window, the video continue embedded.

Some of my flash-files just started acting weird since the latest "patch"...
Says: "WARNING: Actions on button or MovieClip instances are not supported in ActionScript 3.0. All scripts on object instances will be ignored."
And it just ignores my actions....

Flash player not working properly on belle.

I have belle on my C6-01. I also have lots of hd flv files which were played pretty smooth in S^3 and Anna, but I'm having very hard time playing them in belle. I tried to play a file for like 20 times and only 2-3 times it actually played normally. Most of the times it shows an "F" icon on top left of the screen. And rest of the time, it just hang there and do nothing. I don't know why they took this long to update to a buggy os. They should have released this as a beta version of Belle. And should take feed back from customers to make the alpha of this os.

There's lots of threads dedicated to this problem. Nokia has taken note of it and has started an investigation into it. Check Nokia's FAQ section regularly for an answer.

Swf is not working properly when upload to server

I develop 1.swf which is having 3 buttons each one having
anather .swf to call 2.swf, 3.swf respectively.
This application is running perfectly on my PC, but
While uploading the swf to server the 2.swf and 3.swf is
not running. Can any one tell how to recover from this kind
of problem.

why is that we insist on seeing the source file ?
There is no one way of doing things in flash and no one can
help
you based on "does not work description".
This is way to broad of a subject to even try to guess.
Same as asking "my car does not work, what's up with
that"....
Please upload the problematic file and provide url for us to
check.
Otherwise you need to try to troubleshoot it yourself as we
can't
guess from here what possibly is wrong with that file.

Adobe Flash Not Working Properly

The following problem applies to both I.E. and Firefox. Also, I am updated to the latest version of Flash: 11.4.402.278. Keep in mind that I have tried everything that I could find concerning this problem. Also, I am using Windows XP SP3 32bit.
I used to be able to watch video from any website that had videos to watch but recently I was not able to watch any, not even on YouTube. However, after uninstalling and reinstalling Flash I can now watch a few of the YouTube videos and nothing from any other web site. On YouTube, sometimes it works better if I disable Flash. However, when a note appears saying I need Flash, and I Re-enable Flash, it still won’t work. No notice saying anything, it simply will not play the video.
Also, if you are familiar with NetFlix, on their web site, when you hold your mouse pointer over a video title a popup is supposed to appear telling you about the video. That stopped working too. It's all screwed up and I don't know what happened.
Also, when I finish reinstalling Flash (which I have done a few times lately (after uninstalling and carefully following the instructions in the Uninstall Video)) and I am automatically taken to the Adobe page which tells me I have successfully installed Flash, I never get the little animation. It says Flash is properly installed but I never get the animation to show it is properly installed.
Also, on other sites that have test animation to show that Flash is installed and working, their animations never appear either. The problem is also evident when trying to use the websites that test my internet speed. I no longer get the applet or interface on the upload and download test sites.

No, there is no animation.
As stated on my original post, I have uninstalled and reinstalled more than
once. Each time Adobe says I have successfully installed Flash but there
is never an animation on either the Adobe site or anyother site.
Sometimes when attempting to watch a YouTube Video, like the Scorpions
performing Drive by the Cars (awesome acoustical version) it will not play
unless I disable Flash. Then trying to play a different video it says I
need flash so I re-enable flash and it doesn't work. In case you are
wondering, the video that says I need flash did not work before I disabled
flash and it did not work after re-enabling flash.
Before writing this reply I completely uninstalled flash following the
instructions on Adobe site and then reinstalled flash and it's the same as
usual. Adobe says it's installed but no animation and still have the same
problems with web videos.
This all started a couple weeks ago. Before that I had not problem.

My flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits with Firfox and IE8 (lasts versions).
My Flash player version : 10.0.45.2, but I tried with version 9 too, with same problems.
I have tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall several times, ... witch did not worked.
In fact, it works correctly on some sites, like youtube, but not on some others like :
http://www.dailymotion.com/ => black screen instead of videos, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.canalplus.fr/ => videos does not load, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.myspace.com/ => no audio player, right click gives flash context menu
some games in http://www.kongregate.com/ => black screen instead of games, right click gives flash context menu
I have no problem with shockwave in http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
No problem too with flash player on http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
But in the Global Privacy Settings panel (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l), I cannot change any settings :
I cannot check boxes,
My changes are not saved.
In most of flash animations, videos, ...,
when I click on parameters, I cannot do anything, even closing.
when I am in full screen mode, the message "press escape to exit...." does not disappear.
Last thing, all those problems was not there when I was on Windows XP, few weeks ago, and appear with my registered Windows 7 premium familly edition, with the same hardware configuration...

Install the most current version.
I am running the latest version (10.0.45.2)
Run the Clean Installer to Fix 3rd Party Flash Player Cleaners
I did not "clean" my computer.
Troubleshoot Pop-up blockers
I have no Pop-up or esle blocker software.
Ensure that Internet utilities do not block Flash Player
I tried (uninstall, install and run) without Avast.
I have windows 7 firewall. I do not know where I can allow ActiveX controls and Flash (SWF) content. I do not see anything relative to ActiveX an Flash in allowed program list.
Fix machine crashes when displaying Flash content
I have no freez or crash.
Using IE, Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled and vs 10.0.45.2
Using FF, I have SWF vs 10.0.45.2 and it is Enabled
I really do not understand !!
