Flash video can not be loaded

Using Captivate 6, when I make any changes to an already published project that contains flash video, upon republishing I get a pop up stating "The flash video can not be loaded. The output may not be proper." It only happens when I make a change to a previously published project. Every time I encounter this problem, my only fix is to delete each flv and re-insert the video, and republish. Any ideas?

Unable to publish projects with inserted video - error message The Flash video can not be loaded

I've created a project in Captivate 6 with two slides that have inserted videos in them
Both the videos were created in Captivate 6 by publishing those projects as mp4 videos
They play fine in the previews but when publishing I get the error saying the Flash video can not be loaded for both of those slides and in the output files the area for the video is blank.
I have checked that the videos are not open anywhere else as I saw on a previous post this was the issue but the only place they are in use is in the project I am trying to publish.
Below are my settings and the error message
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your screenshot indicates you are publishing to a folder on a network drive.
Have you:
Verified whether or not the video file exists at the published folder location? (It should ideally be sitting in the same folder as the SWF that calls it.)
Verified that the folder location is set up as a trusted location in your Flash Global Security settings?

Captivate 6 Video Issue: "The flash video can not be loaded. The input may not be proper"

I've already published this particular project with multiple videos embedded with no problems in Captivate 6. I had to change one video and went to re-publish the project. Upon completing the publish, I receive an error message on EACH slide that has embedded video:
"The Flash Video Can Not Be Loaded. The Input May Not Be Proper"
There wasn't any issues with the project until changing the one video that needed to swapped out. I also tried publishing this in Captivate 8 to the same results.
Specs:
Windows 7 Pro
Captivate Version 6.1.1.240
Intel Core i5 25-20 CPU @ 2.5 Ghz
4 GB RAM
32-Bit Operating System
If anyone knows why this issue has presented itself and how we can get around it, much would be appreciated!

I am a little confused here. Are you getting this error while inserting a FLV video through Insert option or inserting a video through Video > Insert Slide Video or inserting a new slide?
Re-linking means reinserting the video file. If you have already tried reinserting the video file, then have you tried inserting a different video?
Also what operating system you have on your system?

using CP7, I changed a couple of things on some slides and now I get the above message when publishing and/or previewing. I have search the forum and found others have the issue, but no answer how to fix it...?

Flash class can not be loaded

this is the 2nd time I get this error, now I want to know
what's wrong: I have written a class that imports flash.geom.Point.
I can use this class in other projects fine, but for some projects,
it throws the error when compiling:
The class or interface 'flash.geom.Point' could not be
loaded.
with a reference to the mentioned class file.
What's this? Why it's working in other projects, but not in
these? As far as I can tell, the projects are not very different
from each other, they are different states branching off the same
basis project, but they do import different classes besides the
class mentioned. Probably some issues with the other imported
classes? A working projects imports a second class which also uses
flash.geom.Point; the failing project imports another class that
does not import any other classes. Can't see something wrong
here...
So, does anyone have an advice on this?

well well... if you use Flash 8 classes, make sure to publish
for Flash player 8... d'oh.

I want my flash video file NOT to load until I hit play...how can I do that?

I am wanting this to improve the initial download speed of the page. I have already added a Poster Frame to video's, however it still seems to be loading the video file and just autoplaying. Is there a way to NOT load the video file until the person hits play? This is the AS3 script I used...

you can start the video and then stop it. it will continue to download (which you can monitor). when the time is right, you can enable the video's play button. before the video's ready to start, you can entertain your users.

OEMDSPIF.DLL can not be loaded in T60p

Hello,
I upgraded memory and hard drive to my thinkpad t60p (8743 CTO).
I updated all think vantage tools.
Presentation director (v 4.62) was updated removing the old one. Now I get message OEMDSPIF.DLL can not be loaded.
I saw couple of suggestion upgrade the video driver but I don't if it is necessary in my case.
I am looking for help

I got this fixed.
Reason: I had installed v 4.62 which was not for T60P. In the requirement section it says "This version of Presentation Director is intended for ThinkPad systems released in 2010 and later. If your ThinkPad was released before 2010, please visit the Lenovo support website and download the appropriate version for your ThinkPad model."

Solution: Uninstall v 4.62 and Install the one which is suited to T60P ie., v 4.08.

Flash videos do not play.

I am using Windows XP Media Center Edition and IE7. I have Flash 10.0.32.18 installed and JavaScript is enabled. I have seperate logons (screen names) for each member of my family. Flash videos will play under the administrators screen name, and when using Firefox under any screen name. When logged on as one of the other screen names, flash videos do not play. In Youtube, this message appears: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player." As stated above, this is not the case. It looks to me to be a permissions issue, but I don't where to change those permissions if that is the case.

maybe, you can check the "tools-option" on the internet explorer toolbar. and then enable javasript.

Error - The registration of the service "User Profile Service" has failed. The user profile can not be loaded

I am running an environment with an Active Directory and Terminal Servers.
I have searched high and low for resolutions to this error but I cannot find anything related to my situation, let me explain further.
The fixes I found are related to local users only.
When I create a new user in the Active Directory I provide the paths to the profile folder in the "Remote Desktop Profile" and "Profile tab" lets say for example \\ad001\home\%username% and \\ad001\profil\%username% .
I give rights to the user to read/write the "home" folder which is mapped for folder redirection. An I know that when the user first logs on it should create a "v2.%username%" folder upon successful logon. This is when I am
presented with the error message below:
"The registration of the service "User Profile Service" has failed.
The user profile can not be loaded"
Does anyone have any experience with this or know a suitable fix. Again this is for the "Roaming" profile creation no local.

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Did you receive for any one user or for all users?
Have you tried to solve the issue by fixing the user account profile?
For that you can adjust the registry setting “ProfileImagePath” with
particular SID of that user under below mention path.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
Also if this can’t resolve the issue you can try to delete the SID of that user or renaming the old and and then check the result again by creating new profile for that users.

Thats the annoying part! I have enough space and I'm putting things on a external hard drive and I keep deleting it off the computer.

I am running a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain. with 2 domain controllers.
Every new account created in active directory does not seem to work. Even if the account it copied from one that does still work, it still gives the same error when logging in on a network computer (windows 7). "The user profile service: Service failed

I have looked at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215, which unfortunately does not help. Especially since the SID is not there because the user has not managed to log on yet.
The
"Do not logon users with temporary profiles" Group Policy setting is not configured.
And I have tried force replication too.
I have exhausted all my knowledge.

Thanks for the info SuzyQ. lorsa, the community is correct, pictures and videos can be saved differently on other phones. What phone did you remove the SIM card from? Where did you purchase your SIM card from? Your previous phones SD card and format may not be compatible with your Brightside device. I show you advise that you reformated your memory card but make sure the files are saved correctly. Listed below are the different type of files you can save, receive, and view for pics and videos with your device.
Files that are compatible with the Brightside device:
JPEG (*.jpg, *.jpeg, *.jpe)
