  • Put Flash Video on an iPod?

Has anyone tried to sabve Flash Video files (flv) so that they can be imported to an iPod?
    Thx,

The iPod cannot play flash video. It can only play video that meets the following requirements:
H.264 video: up to 768 Kbps, 320 x 240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats
MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 mbps, 480 x 480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats
You'd have to find a way to convert the flash movie into some compatible format that meets the specifications above.

  • I want to download Flash Video on my ipad mini.

i want to download Flash Video on my ipad mini., i tried many applications for download flash
video, but option is ( FLASH PLAYER UPGRADE REQUIRED ).
i download many time flash video in my ipod 4 gen and iphone 4.
so please any solve my problem

There is no official Flash support on iOS devices. If you want to use Facebook, I recommend using the Facebook app.
If you just want to view Flash material on the web, you should try a different browser like Skyfire or Puffin.

  • My ipod nano 5th gen  wont play movies or videos on my ipod but plays them on itunes when i click on it the screen flashes black i have tried taking the movie off my ipod and putting it back on but it still won't work what should i do?

My ipod nano 5th gen. won't play movies or tv shows but it plays them on itunes.  When I click  on it the screen flashes black. I have tried taking the videos off my ipod and then putting them back on but it still won't work. what should i do?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi I have a Canon 10D digital camera and have a 2Gig Compact Flash Card, I would like to know if there's any compact flash card reader for Ipod video (5th Gen Ipods) so I can use it as a Hard Drive and transfer my RAW photos to the Ipod.
Any suggestion o this or tips on this kind of card reader for Ipod.

    Hi vchavez,
I've got a Nikon D70, use it with camera connector and the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 15-in-1 Media Card Reader/Writer (model no. F5U249ea) google it!
Works fine, there was a website with a list of compatible card readers, but it seem to have took the article away, the belkin above was the one on the list, thats why i got it!

  • Uploading .FLV (flash video) to Windows 7 quicktime

I am looking to load flash video (.flv) files to quicktime so I can download to IPOD. Does quicktime pro do this or is there some software that will allow me to do it?
I do not know of another method to get them on the IPOD.
    Thanks,
    Dwamp

    Try this : http://www.formatoz.com/
It will convert anything from, to and back again for the iPod.
Edit : You can also simply change the extension to .mov or .m4v.
If the .flv file contains h.264/aac then that's it.

  • How to fix green screen on all flash videos

Getting a green screen with audio on all flash videos, ranging from EI 11, Google Chrome, and Steam. Running windows 8.1 with all recent drivers and updates. Have tried enabling/disabling hardware acceleration, using software rendering instead of gpu rendering. This has been happening for many months and I still have not been able to find a solution. Have viewed many forums and have tried many solutions with no success. Any help appreciated.

Be sure to try a Reset first
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1320
This "reboots" the iPod.  If that does not help, try doing a Restore on the iPod in iTunes (from the iPod's Summary tab).  This erases the iPod, re-installs its software, and sets it to default settings.
If that does not help, the cause is likely to be a hardware problem.

  • How to watch flash video on ipad2

how to watch flash video (like on MSN, ESPN, etc.) on ipad2?

Flash is not available on any iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
Some sites have their own apps in the App Store, s you could try looking for your favourite site there. Apart from that there are apps such as Skyfire that claim to support flash, but their reviews are mixed.

  • Sluggish Flash Video

Lately, any time I try to watch Flash videos, be they on YouTube or elsewhere, they play sluggishly, with a slow frame rate. I can fix this by clearing Safari's cache, but I keep having to do that almost each and every time. I've reinstalled Flash, followed a tip I found online about deleting an older plugin in the internet plugins folder of my Library folder, hardware acceleration is checked. Any other possible solutions? Thanks.

I've definitely noticed poor internet video quality on my iMac flat panel G4. It does indeed seem to be getting worse with time and I really think it has a lot to do with the video content no longer being optimized for PPC processors. It seems to have gotten particularly bad with Flash--on Youtube and on MLB.com to name two.
It's a shame that video looks better on my son's iPod touch than it does on my 1 GHz iMac desktop, but that's the way it is. I know the touch does not play the Flash format, so that the only Youtube videos viewable on the touch have been coded in something other than Flash. But they look so much better on the touch than the very same videos viewed on my iMac.
A different video problem happened back during the NCAA mens BBall tournament. The CBS site required Microsoft Silverlight 2 (same story, different verse--this MS format will not work on PPCs). But the geniuses who make iPod touch apps came out with a March Madness video viewer for the touch ($4.99) that played beautiful almost TV quality video on that little screen.
The point is that the PPC processor is being put out to pasture, not only by Apple, but by the video content providers on the internet. It's painful for those of us with fairly robust machines--like my iMac G4 1 GHz--to not be able to enjoy internet video very much these days.
P.S. I went into my local Apple Store and pulled up an MLB.com website of one of the major league teams and watched some video--not the subscription MLB.com stuff, but just the free highlights that anyone can view. The video quality on both the Macbook and Macbook Pro was lightyears better than the jerky stuff on my iMac. It looked like real TV. I guess I'll be forced to upgrade one of these days!
P.P.S. These Apple Store Macs were running Safari, not Firefox, so it's not a problem with Flash and Safari, it's a problem with PPC and Flash.
P.P.P.S. I am running the most up to date version of Flash on my iMac.
    Regards,
    Steve M.

  • Flash Video Arrives in Adobe Acrobat 9

Adobe has released Acrobat 9. The newly released version now allows Flash Video contents, which makes it more powerful for business presentation.
Actually, the concept of using multimedia files in PDF documents is nothing new. In the previous versions of Acrobat, you are able to embed QuickTime video and other formats into a PDF file. But you need an external media player installed on your computer for playing the video. Now in Adobe Acrobat 9, video can be played within a PDF document with no need to have any media player installed. Thus makes it more convenience to share.
This is a challenging feature which will affect its surroundings. As we know, the similar program for business presentation, PowerPoint, now only supports video and SWF import. If you want to import an FLV file, you must convert the file to WMV, AVI, or MPEG, etc. which can be perfectly done with our product, Moyea FLV to Video Converter Pro 2.
The following passages are some notable features related to video import:
The powerful business version Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended provides more favorable features.
Deliver a compelling branded experience using PDF Portfolios
Create interactive, on-demand presentations with Adobe Presenter
Easily share video in PDF files
Share 3D designs and PDF maps
With Acrobat 9 Pro, you can insert FLV or H.264 video for direct playback in Adobe Acrobat® and Adobe Reader. New Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro even enhances Creative Suite 3.3 which is the indispensable toolkit for professional design and print production.
The Extended version provides even more powerful functions:
Easily adding audio, video, and quizzes to your PowerPoint slides and create rich, interactive presentations with Adobe Presenter (included)
Convert a variety of video formats to FLV for playback in PDF
Embed video in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint and convert to FLV in PDF
Convert 3D content to PDF for cross-platform sharing and collaboration
Combine multiple CAD formats in one assembly and save as PDF with Adobe 3D Reviewer (included)
Convert 2D and 3D designs from major CAD applications to PDF for use by extended teams without expensive CAD or viewer software
Create PDF maps by importing geospatial files that retain metadata and coordinates
In a word, Adobe 9 will totally change the communication and association of electronic files.

  • Help..Flash Videos work for Chrome/IE but NOT Firefox

So I cannot see some flash videos on Firefox (like sites CNet & Disney do not work) which use flash. It does work on Chrome & IE.
    1. ALL Programs are the newest/latest versions.
    2. I removed and downloaded all programs- restarted the computer after each download.
    3. I have the latest Flash (according to the website) when I view the Adobe Flash Website on Firefox.
I don't know why some flash videos work...and some do not.
I am running Vista. All my programs are legit...and I do have McAfee running..I don't download porn, no viruses etc..  Anyone have advice?!!

    ok ok
I disabled firewall which - for some weird reason- allow it to play in Firefox. Videos played in IE & Chrome- but not in Firefox, until I disabled Firewall..weird.

  • When I try to play a flash video (like youtube) i have to click a flash button several times before it works. Why do flash videos not recogonize any clicks without several tries first?

When I try to go to a flash video, the video player never seems to recognize my mouse clicks without several tries.
It's hard to explain but if I'm at a youtube video and i place my cursor over the button that lets you skip around the video, the cursor will alternate being a cursor (like its not recognized) and a hand like its supposed to. It's sort of keeps flickering between the two if I move the mouse around on that little skip button.
I tried uninstalling firefox but it didn't make a difference. I noticed it after updating to the newer firefoxe updates. This does not happen under IE.
    thank you for your help.

  • How do I repeat loop a video file from iPod Touch to Apple TV ?

I have an iPod Touch that is a few years old but running the latest software update.  I want to loop a video to then play through Apple TV onto 2 panels at the front of our shop.  I have saved the file as a video and Music Video (using Get Info etc) but neither version in the iPod touch will supply the repeat function - it works fine from my MacBook Pro but I cannot leave this in the shop overnight.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - evern if a third party app that actually works.  Thanks in advance, Shaun.
