a) First, verify that Flash Player is installed and working on your system.
Check the Flash Player Version Detection page, here (the link is case-sensitive):  http://adobe.ly/wRILS
b) If you see the box with version information, you have successfully installed Flash Player and will be able to view Flash content via the Android browser.
c) If you see a “Get Flash Player” icon instead of the version information, confirm that both Browser Plug-Ins and JavaScript are enabled on your device:
       Open the Browser
       Hit the Menu Button
Confirm that Enable Javascript is checked
Choose Settings > Enable Plug-Ins and make sure that it's set to Always On
If the settings above did not match, this probably fixed the problem.
Please visit the Flash Player Version Detection Page (http://adobe.ly/wRILS ) again.
If you see the version information now, you're done!  Congratulations.
d) If not, it sounds like the installation did not work correctly.
First uninstall Flash Player by doing the following:
Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Adobe Flash Player
Hit Uninstall (or Uninstall Updates) and follow the prompts
Restart your phone.  This will make sure that anything that might be keeping the Flash Player binary locked is no longer running.
Once the phone comes back up, open the Market and search for "Flash Player".  Follow the installation prompts.
Please repeat the steps to confirm that JavaScript and Plug-Ins are enabled, and then check the version detection page.

  • Flash player for galaxy tab 2

    Hi there,
I'm having problems with flash on my galaxy tab 2. Whenever something prompts me to get flash, it takes me to the app in the android store, but says the app isn 't available in my country (Australia). Is there a way to download it or am i doomed to a flash-less life?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Adobe does not support the Flash Player on the Galaxy Tab 2. You can find a list of Adobe certified devices here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html

  • Can't play video on Galaxy Tab 3 w/FF24

I have a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and FF 24. When I try to play a .mp4 video directly (pasting in the full path to the .mp4 file) nothing happens. I get no error messages, just a gray screen.
In addition, when I try to play the same video using jwplayer, when I click the play button, nothing happens.
The same video plays in FF24 on the Galaxy Tab 2, but the audio is choppy (video is perfect).
I can also play the same video in the Dolphin browser and Android browser on the Galaxy Tab 2 or 3, and Safari on the iPad with no issues.

Please try Firefox Beta. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an Intel device and we have an Intel specific build of Firefox in the Play Store as Firefox Beta.
We are looking to release the Android Intel version of Firefox shortly as a stable version.

  • Not finding flash in samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 with android 4.0... where can i find flash player?

hi, i just bought a galaxy tab 2 7.0 with android ice cream but i don't find adobe flash player
    where do i find it?

    Hi,
The list of Adobe certified devices can be found here:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html
It does not look like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is an officially supported device. Also, on the page above I found the following statement.
"Please note: Flash Player will not be certified for any device OS beyond Android 4.0.x." Ice Cream Sandwich is version 4.1.

  • Flash player samsung galaxy tab 3

Flash player on samsung galaxy tab 3 how to install

99% of the time, the archived versions will get you a "You need the latest Flash Player" message wherever you try to use them. So basically, they're useless.
Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and Android (Kindle, Galaxy, smartphones) do not want their users viewing Flash content. It's just that simple. Playing Flash content is processor consumptive and it drains batteries, also shortening the life of them, and Apple & Google don't want to replace dead batteries for customers from that.
Apple is really good about telling iPad and iPhone customers that they can't use them for Flash content, but Amazon & Google act like it's some sort of national security secret, and the world will end if they tell a cusotmer that Flash is off limits, and they lose a sale.

  • Flash Player on Galaxy tab 2

I now have two problems: 1 I tried to submit a question concerning above but you then asked for screen name which I had never heard before.  and couldn't access.  2.  I want to know why you invite me to download Flash Player on my Galaxy tab 2 and then disallow.  This is very annoying. I will not use any more Adobe products until this rectified. Norm Harris

    Hi,
If you had visited a Flash Player driven site from your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, you might have got prompted to download Flash Player.
Flash Player does not support the latest versions of Android and hence Galaxy Tab 2. For more info and work arounds, readhttp://forums.adobe.com/message/4836271.
    Hope the above helps.

  • Sony MDR-1RBT with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?

I've successfully paired my new Sony MDR-1RBT Bluetooth headphones with my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.  However, I can't get them to pair with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet.  Are they compatible?
I held the button for 7 seconds until I heard the sound and the red/blue lights flashed.  The Galaxy Tab was discoverable but never found the headphones.  I tried restarting the tablet, restarting the headphones, etc.
Any suggestions would be appreciated - these headphones were too expensive to not work with all my devices.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I figured this out today - I realized I had to hold the power button long enough to see a red flash and then keep holding until I hear a second tone and a red/blue flashing.  The unit paired right away when I did this.  Thanks!

  • Which is the suitable flash player version for galaxy tab 3

Hi , i'm using galaxy tab 3 vertion 4.1.2 and stil unable to watch any movie through putlocker site.i alredy had installed flash manually fr the device but still it says,"important codec n plug-in missing".pls help..

    Galaxy Tabs use Android.
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

  • Galaxy tab 2 won't run flash

Yesterday I bought a galaxy tab 2 after looking at one in the store that ran flash . Now it tells me it's not supported. Help.

That is correct. Adobe dropped flash support for android starting in Android 4.1. There are no Apple or Android devices on the market that support flash. Your only options are Windows solutions or using a special browser like Skyfire that support flash by running the website through their servers then to the browser on your device.
