Flash Web Install thinks it's not the latest version

Question

Well I have been having lots of problems with flash. It used
to work on most sites apart from YouTube which told me I needed to
update so I tryed and it said it was successful but it still didn't
work. I thought it might be a problem with the registery
permissions so I downloaded Subinacl and the reset_minimal.cmd and
ran it. It completed quite quickly and I scrolled up to see what it
had done and all the keys it was trying to reset permissions for it
said it had not found which I thought was a little odd.
Now whenever I try and install from the website a box comes
up saying "Installation failed or was cancelled" and no flash
websites work now. It did create and install.txt file in the flash
directory which showed something odd:

Delete:

Delete:

RMDir:
RemoveDirectory("C:\DOCUME~1\Tom\LOCALS~1\Temp\nsp105.tmp\")
If you look at the part in bold you can see the problem but
I'm not sure how to fix it, does anyone have any ideas?

here is the solution to this..
1. download the flash uninstaller from
Here
2. open regedit.exe (watch out.. you are now treading in
sensitive territory)
3. In HKLM/Software delete the Macromedia Key
4. In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia remove the Flash
Key of you already have shockwave installed.
Now install the flash player... it should work
