Flash, what options a available?

Hello,
First, I love my IPad, but as I run a small business, I need to access sites that require me to have flash player. A lot of my suppliers websites use flash.
My husband gave me an iPad for Christmas (lucky me!!), to keep me away from the computer. This hasn't been hugely successful, as some emails I can't open, websites I cant use etc etc etc.
So, does anyone have options as to what I can do? I realize that apple put restrictions on certain things, and from a business point of view I get that, but for my business....... It's a wee bit frustrating to say the least.

I have had my iPad since the 19th of December, and like you am frustrated over what I can and can not see on my iPad. I have been researching "jailbreaking" my iPad and have found some VERY interesting information. However, I do not know...yet... If "jailbreaking" my iPad will negate any warranty or support going forward. And for those "people" who are offended by posting a question, I have one thing to say..."there are no stupid questions, only stupid people".
I thought the reasons for "discussions" were exactly that, a discussion...to help others. If you are that selfish, then why are you on the discussion board to begin with?

You can use cell-level encryption by the various EncryptByXxxx function. But that assumes that you are writing the SQL code yourself, and you seem to have Sharepoint. Maybe you should ask in a Sharepoint forum what is possible in the realm of Sharepoint.
It also helps if you have an understanding of why you want to encrypt. That is, what do you want to protect yourself against?

Many people have the same problem. However, there is little or nothing readily available to users. This problem has existed for two or more years. Does anyone have anything to offer about this disturbing problem?

Thanks for the suggestion kcell. I've tried both versions
9.0.115 and 9.0.124 and both fail with the policy permission error.
I also tried with and without your crossdomain.xml file but
with the same result. It looks like this file is intended for URL
policy, instead of socket policy. Recently Adobe separated the two.
When I run with the files installed on my dev PC, it does
work, which makes sense because the flash player isn't loaded from
an unknown domain.
I did get one step closer. If a crossdomain.xml in the server
root exists and the socketpolicy file is loaded from the app folder
then the first two warnings disappear. The logs now show:

Which basically says, everything is okay, but you stay out

UPDATE: When serving up the policy file on port 843 using the
example perl script then the socket connection seems to be accepted
and the connect succeeds. After that flex hangs trying to logon to

For one thing you forgot to mention the version of Photoshop you use.
Did you place the image as a Smart Object? Liquify got Smart-capabilities with Photoshop CC.

Unfortunately, the IMAQ drivers will not run on Windows Embedded. For any other drivers or modules you're interested in, the readme will show which operating systems it supports. However, we do have this module that allows you to develop for certain Windows Embedded operating systems, including our Touch Panel Computers. Using that module, you could program the Touch Panel and certain other Windows Embedded computers as displays for a vision acquisition system.

Outboung Campaing: Error Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. outbound Option not available

Hi everyone,
I'm running UCCX 8.01 + CUCM 7.1+ Cisco 7942 just for learning purpose. After creating the Outbound Campaign and imported the Contact List the call is received by the agent (call is state is received as Offering) but after press the Accept, Reject or any othe action button is received the error:
Error Unable to communicate with Enterprise Server. outbound Option not available (attached to post).
What does this mean?

Logic Pro - 19GB of 'optional' content available via in-app purchase.

This seems weird. IN the App Store see the System Requirments sections and it says..."19GB of 'optional' content available via in-app purchase." Logic Pro to buy normally, was gigabites of stuff....thisd App Store purcxhase is only 413Mb.
Can anybody tell me
a. What this 'optional' content via in-app purchase is?
b. How much this 'optional' content via in-app purchase is and
c. Didn' t Logic Pro 9 used to ship with masses of content...I mean Gigabits of the stuff. This App Store Download in only 413MB...doesnt that mean that yes its is less money to buy...but for it would seem less stuff.
Have Apple been very cleaver here...I mean clever?

I think this is a major problem for a lot of people: I don't know where you're based but in rural UK it's an ongoing problem and I speak from experience. Slow connections and constant dropouts are a major headache and accessing via friends & family is hardly convenient and part of Apples vision of convenience.
It's very convenient and lucritive for Apple to make their content exclusive through the App Store with no packaging etc but it doesn't serve everyones needs and it's not convenient.

Before embarking on a major OS upgrade, it would be wise, advisable and very prudent if you backup your current system to an external connected and Mac formatted Flash drive OR externally connected USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Please help: what options do we have other than ATI Radeon X1900 XT

I think my video card (ATI Radeon X1900 XT) is about to die and I'm trying to figure out what to replace it with. (I'm on a 1st gen MacPro, still on Tiger).
What I can't easily figure out from this site, however, is a list of alternative cards I could purchase that will fit in this machine. I gather from the ratings that the ATI X1900 has failed for just about everyone that has used it intensely. And I'd like to avoid buying the same one that is about to fail for me now, but how can I tell what my alternatives are and if they will fit in the slot and/or be compatible with my machine?
I have been to the Mac Pro spec area, and it lists these as the "build to order" options:
* ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB (two dual-link DVI)
* NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 512MB (stereo 3D, two dual-link DVI)
* Two NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB

You should visit Bare Feats and see the various reviews and benchmarks. You have several options now available besides the ones that came originally with your model. There is now an NVidia 8800 card in a version for pre-2008 MPs, the ATI 2600, and the new ATI 3870 just released. You can learn more at Bare Feats and by searching the MP forums.

SAP UI Customization - What Options

Hello there,
We are considering implementing SAP PM Module in SAP ECC 6.0. But the users do not like to work with the standard SAPGUI front-end. We are looking for alternatives on how to make the SAP UI web-based and user-friendly. There is GUIXT, EP that we are aware of. Can someone please recommend what options are out there along with the following information?
- Ease of implementation
- Deployment (easy, difficult)
The project we are targeting is a 6 months project to implement the PM module for 200 users that should also include the UI design and deployment.

If you need to display only the data from backend then you can use Visual Composer to display PM data with more user friendly UIs.
Also you can use webdynpro Java or WebDynpro for ABAP for user friendly interfaces.
First check in market place website if there is business package available for SAP PM. Mostly configuration effort is required. If you dont find the suitable one then you use above mentioned ways.

okay so i just upgraded my x-fi drivers to the latest release and the "what u hear" recording option became available... only problem is it doesn't function as it's supposed to, i.e. it's not receiving the audio signal from the output, so when i go to record i get nothing... i have it activated in the sound options and i have it selected as the recording source... what do i have to do to get it functioning? I can't recall much info for the Audigy but see if the option is listed in the properties setting. Open sounds and audio devices and go to audio tab. Click at Volume button of the 'Sound Recording' column. Now click on Options->Properties. Do you have that option listed?

I am trying to find out some comparison of SAP's web user interfaces. In other words if i want to build applications which are web enabled what options do we have in SAP? Could someone provide some inputs regarding the same? or point me to a document which gives more details?

3. Webdynpro - ABAP/JAVA
4. NWBC
5. Portal( Iviews)
Is there anything more from the above list? Where can i find advantages and disadvantages of the above UI technology?

Cannot Export/Share video, but the options are available

I have created my first movie with FCPX and now i am ready to export/share. All of the share export options are available in the share tab but when I click export i get the colorful pinwheel for a quick second and then nothing happens can someone please help me out with this.

Flash Asset Options xtra

I have just downloaded and installed the Flash Asset Xtra for
windows. I think I'm missing the Flash Asset Options xtra because I
get a warning message now when Director loads the movie with flash
files in it that says " Use of the Flash Asset Xtra in authoring
mode is restricted unless the Flash Asset Options Xtra is present
in your Xtras folder". The is a Flash Asset Options Xtra in the
right folder up it belongs to the previous version of the Flash
Asset xtra. My resent download of the xtra didn't include it. Any
clue on what I'm doing wrong or where I can download the new

You need to open that configurations folder and then the
folders inside.
You have to manually move the new files in each of the
folders to the
corresponding folders in the Director folder.
Its very tedious. There are a lot of files to move. Don't
just move
folders, you will actually remove files that were in the old
folders.
