Flashing screen and selected items flicker

the Screen flashes often and every selectable link flashes.

Not tried another cable as the it is only the wallpaper that is flashing so not sure how a dodgy cable would cause this effect. The top menu bar doesn't flash (although the image behind does) and currently, mail is open but is not flashing, it just seems to be the background wallpaper.
Again, there is no dock at the bottom.
I am in the UK so unfortunately, Apple support are out-of-hours at the moment (21:50 uk time).

I am trying to execute AT SELECTION-SCREEN and AT SELECTION-SCREEN output. Both the para's working fine seperately. But when I execute them together AT SELECTION-SCREEN output is not working. Please let me know how to solve this problem. Please see below for the code.

As far as my knowledge is concerned AT Selection-Screen output and AT Selection-Screen wont work together.In this code you are trying to do the validation in AT Selection-Screen. Instead of that try doin your validations in Start-of-selection Event.

I have put in a screen this
SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON /01(20) p_0031 USER-COMMAND _0031.
But It never enters 'at user-command' event !
What should i do ?

If you specify the USER-COMMAND addition, the pushbutton must be assigned a function code fcode. The function code fcode must be specified directly and can only contain a maximum of 20 characters.
Before you can work with the pushbutton, you must specify a TABLES statement to declare an interface work area for the structure SSCRFIELDS from the ABAP Dictionary.
If the user selects the pushbutton on the selection screen, the runtime environment triggers the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN and the function code fcode is transferred to the ucomm component in the interface work area sscrfields.

CALL SCREEN interrupts the processing of the current screen to call a new screen or a chain of screens, processing of the current screen is resumed directly after the call.
Call selection-screen
Similar to CALL SCREEN, except the screen you are calling must be a selection screen defined using SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN/END OF SCREEN or the standard selection screen of a report.
It calls the selection screen with in the program.
If you call a selection screen using CALL SCREEN instead of CALL SELECTION-SCREEN, the initialization necessary for selection screens is not carried out, and the screen will not run properly when displayed.

List and selecting items in it ?

I use List (element in building GUI). In emulators it works nicely and I have possibility to select one item from the list (I didn't code anything about selecting it) it was automatically added to menu. This is great.
When running the same app in actual device (Nokia 7210), the "select" is not possible / provided by the phone...Theere is no such element at all. So I actually can't select an item out of list.
In nokia 7650 this doesn�t occur.
My mistake, need to program ? .. how to proceed ?

Funny that mine doesn't work and I have the same firmware version...
My situation is that I have a List, with items that are ment to be selected.. I need to have commands generally concerning the whole application and commands that are available after user have selected one item from the list.
This is now done so that I have one List (holding those selectable items...), select button then leads to another list, where I have list of actions available to selected item.
The previous list also has Commands appended to it.
These commands are always available, but in phone the List Select button is gone, and accesing that other list (with detailed actions concerning only the selected item) is then impossible.

your question isn't clear at all.
first: When you change the value of a listitem you can use the WHEN-LIST-CHANGED-trigger to do something.
if you want to transfer the value of a list-item into another item, then you can write this code in the trigger WHEN-LIST-CHANGED

Selection Screen means you are creating a screen using
stament SElection-Screen begin of screen 100..
this is the difference whatever the screen other than '1000' is selection Screen, where as 1000 is Standard Selection Screen

Lists, groups and selected item

I'm trying to learn how to work with lists and I'm just not getting it. I've been working on this for days now to no avail.
My first problem is eachItem is returning only last entry of groupsList instead of the selected specifiedGroup. Then what I would like to do which I'm not too keen on either is, take that selection and match it to one of the choice groups which would contain files or something that the user has preselected previously. Thanks so much! I'm learning a lot of Applescript lately but these lists get the best of me still as I don't fully understand how they work yet. Hoping this will clear my head on things.

AppleScript doesn't support variable variables, so you can't refer to variable names like that (at least not in regular AppleScript). Using a record isn't that much better, because you can't use variables to refer to property keys, either. There are a couple of cheats that use run script, but usually those are more of a pain that they are worth.
One way that is similar to what you are thinking about would be to create a list of lists, then use your choice to index into that list, for example:

Hi all, I'm new to VB and LS and trying to build a school application.
I created 2 tables, Students and Projects and added a ListDetail screen for both.(See screen shots)
In the Project screen when I click in the tab Students on the Add button I want to be able to open a screen with all the students in it and then be able to select some students to add to the project.
Anyone who knows how to do this?

Flashing screen and little red light

I have an 8gb iPhone that has a small red light on by the speaker also the screen flashes on every minute or so and this seams to be draining the batery anyone got any ideas why and what to do about it???

Since your iPhone is 8 GB it cannot be a 3GS model (they are all 16 or 32 GB). You may want to post this at the Original iPhone forum

BTW .. I'm not aware of the "red light" you mention and it isn't clear where you are seeing it -- at the bottom of the phone where the speaker is or at the top of the front where you put your ear.
I do wonder if the "red light" is the moisture indicator I've heard (but not seen) is on the bottom near the connector. If your iPhone has gotten wet, that could be your problem. But this is total speculation.

Playbook - Bridge messages - get flashing screen and circle - but no updates

I have been using Bridge messages succesfully - since Christmas - up to, and after installing the latest OS.
I have also removed and re-installed bridge software on Torch 9810.
Now just get blank screen/blank messages screen - flashing from one to the other, and the "updating circle".
Only solution is to close the app.
All other Bridge and apps working fine.
Can access messages and all other software via Torch - anyone had the same please?

I tried AANDRAS suggestion, without really doing it for that, both my phone and my Playbook got completely wiped accidentally, and when I finished getting them back in working order the problem was still there
AANDRAS theory is that there is a e-mail message that as bad HTML code in it and that is what causing this problem, but I still do not understand that since both the phone and the Playbook got a complete factory wipe how can there be any e-mail message (with or without bad html code) that remain on either or both device, and there was no backup that could be restored since the OS version for some reasons on both device were newer than the one of the backup and therefore could not be restored

T61 screen and system tray flicker on and off during start up

When I start up my T61, under XP Pro SP3:
The screen dimms slightly during the welcome to windows message, and three seconds later returns to normal.
Then, just before the system tray and battery life icons appear, the screen flickers off then on, and a black rectangle appears in the bottom right corner.
The black rectangle dissapears and the system tray replaces it.
Is this normal?
If not, what is wrong with my Think Pad?
After this seemingly odd behaviour, I get a message telling me that I have no wireless connection.
Then, all is good and my thinkpad suffers no other performance issues.
Please could somone give me details as to why my Think Pad boots up in this manner?

I do think you mean thinkpad, Thinkcentre is the desktop.
During your initial startup, press the blue thinkvantage button, which hopefully will take you into the Rescue and Recovery, from which select restore to factory setting.
Alternatively, burn yourself a set of recovery media from Start -> Program -> Thinkvantage -> Create Recovery Media -> Recovery disks. And use that disk to restore your laptop to factory state. <- Even if you don't use this step, it is a good idea to burn a set of recvoery disks.
